Incredible staff and vet. They were really accommodating to my anxious dog. Staff is very transparent about prices prior to any evaluation or exams.Every experience with Thrive has been consistently great.<3

I took my last dog to Thrive pet healthcare and loved it so now with my new dog, I’m going to continue going there. They offer all the same services as a veterinary place but for cheaper. I’ve had nothing but good service over the phone, in person, and with the veterinarians. I love that they show you how much it’s going to cost before they do it so you can pick and choose if you don’t have the funds right then. The veterinarians there are skilled and also will work with you If you don’t want to do a certain treatment they will find alternatives. My dog is very afraid of thunder and they recommended these calming gummy‘s and when that didn’t work, we took a next step up to some medication and when that not didn’t work, We went the next step up instead of just jumping straight to the hard stuff. The only thing is, I wish there was one closer to my house.

Worst experience I have had in a long time at the vets. This clinic has been my go to due to the previous staff having compassion, empathy, safety, and collaboration with caregivers. This most recent experience was waiting way too long for service, vets seem to not be utilizing previous notes or recommendations for care, was told that I could get my pets vaccinations done which was completely forgotten about from staff and was told we couldn't get it due to our dogs getting antsy from waiting too long and their rooms being at capacity, seems safety is an issue as well due to my dog getting a nail trim and came back with multiple bleeds and said that our dog would not stop kicking-which is where i would have gladly accepted to be told to return another day or try the method with caregiver in a room which was recommended in our notes but they continued with clipping her nails to where you could hear her cry in pain and whining all the way to the waiting area, safety did not seem to be a priority and rather than adapting to the situation or using best clinical judgement- blame was put on the dogs and excuses were given. Excuses such as being understaffed which is a valid reason for frustration from these vet techs but this also in turn impacts the care and attention we receive. I will continue to go to thrive but a different location due to having some beautiful experiences with our dogs being cared for, being safe, and feeling relaxed but the air in this clinic is filled with frustration, exhaustion, and lack of patience from a vet tech.

Took our 2 years old Great Pyrenees to Thrive at Terrell Plaza Urgent care for the first time today.My Leo hates Doctor visits but surprisingly he was very calm at this office and while the doctor examined him.The tech, Ms Ashley and Dr. Smith was so nice and professional. They explained everything to us very clearly.Not forgetting the receptionist Ms. London who welcomed us warmly to the clinic and set us up with the doctor.Place is very clean and the staff is just wonderful.Glad we found this place.

I not recommend this place. They forgot about us and left us waiting in the room for more than an hour. At the end, they just told me they couldn’t help me because They were late for the other appointment. They only cut my baby’s nails and he was bleeding so bad. They didn’t care or showed concern about us. I asked for a manager phone number and they didn’t provide it. The name of the doctor Selena Dias.

My Pomeranian fractured his leg 3 weeks ago and I followed up with this vet for proper care. 1st appointment went fine, although they could not access their own email address to get his transferred records. I was told he needs weekly cast changes or he could loose his leg entirely. I followed aftercare instructions and when I brought him back for his cast change (which they made me wait days for the appointment after calling) I had the absolute worst experience and worst vet tech I have ever met. She over explained every little thing like I was stupid even though I hadn’t asked any questions. She shaved my poms leg and chest without telling me and kept saying “I just trimmed it”. Ma’am I have been a dog groomer for 10 years. You shaved my dog with a #10 blade and poms are NOT suppose to be shaved. Often times their fur will NEVER grow back. When I asked why she said they wanted a better look at his skin which turned out there’s absolutely nothing wrong with his skin. She also forced me to buy a new e collar saying the one I had wasnt good enough even though it was working fine. Well guess what, he took that new e collar off overnight and tore up his new cast that I paid 65$ for. I had it tied as tight as possible so I know this was not an error on my part. When I called and ask to speak with someone from the vet office they transferred me. When they picked up the phone they hung up without even saying hello. After that I could not get through to anyone from the vet office.Edit: I came into the clinic in person and spoke with the manager who was very understanding and helpful. Apparently the tech who I had problems with does not actually work for this clinic and was only helping for the day. I was refunded for the e collar that didn’t fit and got his cast re-wrapped for free. Changing my review from 1 star to 3 because they did their best to make it right. I’m just hoping his hair will grow back now. EDIT on 9/12/22 We have been going every week for a cast change and following all after care instructions carefully. Today Zero finally saw our regular vet. When they took his cast off they discovered a horrible large open sore covering about half of his leg. Thrive told me every visit that his leg looked good and was doing well. (They never showed me his leg & always took him to the back for a cast change.) Never once did they mention the horrible raw skin, irritation, oozing and hair loss that we found today when taking the cast off. He was just at Thrive for a cast change less than a week ago so I know this sore did not just suddenly happen. I’m extremely disappointed with this vet and their lack of proper care. My poor pup has suffered enough, I just hope his leg heals ok and his hair eventually comes back now that his double coat had been unnecessarily damaged.

Best place ever!Walked in and was promptly greeted, didn't even have to take a seat and was put in a exam room in less than a minute.Smells fantastic too..London & Erma we're so gosh darn awesome! Dr Kronewette was on point & knew exactly what Peepsqueak had. Overall wait time was less than 45 mins,the fastest & best vet appt ever.13 years later we now have a go to Vet Dr's office. We'll be back in 2 weeks..Thank you ladies!

I had a 2 pm appointment at Thrive Vet clinic 12 October . I arrived at 1:50, they were at lunch so stated the notice on the window. 1245-2:00 pm for lunch! A bit long!While I was waiting for the vet personnel to return, a woman with her dog wrapped in a blanket came up to me. I explained they would return at 2.Her pup was dying. She was clearly distressed. The clinic reopened at 2.We both went in. I explained to the receptionist the woman needed to go first as this was an emergency!She flat out told the woman she would have to go to the ER VET! I said take this emergency situation first, I would wait. She said they were booked and that the woman would have to take her dying dog to the ER VET! I was totally appalled at her heartless and rude attitude toward this woman with her sick dog.I said I would wait, take her first. She refused to help this poor distressed woman. Finally I said she could have my appointment. This was unbelievable!The woman and her dog were seen.I left NEVER TO RETURN!!This was such a heartless and passionless experience. The receptionist should be fired for her attitude and treatment of this emergent situation!! She absolutely would not take care of this emergency!!! Until I gave up my appointment, which I absolutely gladly did!!!This is a heartless clinic and certainly one to STAY AWAY FROM!!!

Took my dog Archie for an urgent care visit the other day and was taken care of by doctor smith and Ashley. They were both kind and patient with me and my doggy as were all the other staff members :)So if you're looking for great service and affordable veterinary care I definitely recommend this place!!

I recently got my first puppy, and was concerned when she got diarrhea and wasn’t acting very “puppy-like”… I called Thrive and Amberly helped to 1. Calm my nerves and 2. She made setting up an appointment very easy and she got my Maya in the very next morning. She was seen by Dr. Severns who was thorough and so professional. Overall great experience and will be bringing my baby here for a long time!!!

My daughter lost her pet. They tried to save it. While it was not a happy ending to this story, Thrive's staff was absolutely caring, professional, and respectful of our wishes. I would highly recommend them for all pet care needs.

They don't answer the phone, can't reschedule appts. They never call you back and their veterinarians refuse to ok prescriptions for special food each other like it's a controlled substance. Will be calling thrive corp. To complain and getting another veterinarian! I spend 45$ a month to have trive insurance on my animals, disgraceful!

My pets needed to get a health cert for a PCS move in 1 day and they got us squared away. in addition they were very transparent about pricing and my dogs were very accepting of them. even my slightly apprehensive dog 🐕 was good with them and I feel it's because they sense the people who work here are good people. My pets got the absolute best care and we are so happy! If I wasn't moving I would have made them my permanent vet clinic. plus the prices are very good.

We have a Daniff (half Mastiff and half Great Dane) named Catfish. I shopped around for affordable pet insurance plans and Thrive offered the best price. So far it has paid off because we have taken him multiple times. I've made several appointments and the wait time till the appt wasn't long and prices were reasonable. Since he is a big breed I have peace of mind that I can take him in as often as I want under the plan and it won't cost me an arm and leg. Vets are informative and staff is excellent.

Such an amazing location. I took Murphy in for an emergency visit and they were able to fit us in even withOUT an appointment. Staff were friendly and very helpful. So thankful to live near such an amazing vet!

I don’t know what happened today but it’s made me furious. I had an appointment at 3pm, and waited in the front without anyone there for 15 minutes. After 10 minutes, I firstly took myself to the back to find that every single worker was lounging and laughing in the back while only one person was working and administering shots. After I had a notification that I missed my appointment since no one cared enough to sign me in after the extensive wait time, I called the phone to let everyone know in the back that I still demand my appointment because I had been waiting there the entire time with my dog at given appointment time. 15 minutes later like mentioned before- I finally got a room. 45 minutes later, I am still waiting in the room for my dog to have her vaccinations and heart worm medication. Where is the doctor? Does no one check on these people to make sure they’re actually working? Ridiculous. Total waste of my time and going to switch places.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I thought highly of this place before and they use to treat dogs with more attentiveness. Past few times I’ve taken my dog I just get short responses when I ask what treatment options do I have, or any questions in general. Disregard importance of my concern. These are our pets and they train to care for our animals we are entrusting them to provide us with the upmost care and resources. I too have arrived and no one is available at front. Overall the compassion and the care they used to provide when they first opened is gone. I understand why they have less clinics now I have changed veterinary clinics where my pets actually matter.

My 2 babies had their wellness appointments today. My husband and I have been taking them there since 2019. The staff as well as the doctors are very friendly and professional they treat our babies as if they were their own. Any questions or concerns I had were readily answered by the doctor. Our babies were handled very carefully while their shots were being administered so if you are looking for a vet hospital to handle all of your babies needs I highly recommend Thrive in Terrell Hill.
