I have a big difference in the store since manager Johnny was placed at this store he is always saying Welcome to stripes, and always ask if we found everything okay. The cleanness of the store and merchandise is always neat and well clean.Great job!! Johnny many KUDOS is deserved great customer service is always noticed and appreciated keep up the AMAZING WORK!!!

What kind of gas station closes their bathrooms at 10? And then talk to me like a child like bathrooms closing at 10 is normal for gas stations? This place has always been dirty and ill kept but conveniently placed. After that, I dont recommend anyone go here.

The people at this store are some of the nicest people we have ever met. We was in San Antonio for 2 weeks on vacation. We stopped every morning for coffee and soda before heading for the day. We was always greeted with a good morning and a smile. The food was excellent. The chicken legs and churros was delish. They also have freshly cooked grill items but we did not try any. We enjoyed our stay in San Antonio and found everyone friendly but the workers here at stripes all are so welcoming.

Awesome clean gas station with a Taco shop INSIDE! They have these kinds of gas stations all over the valley and I am happy to see they have replicated one here in San Antonio. Food is made fresh there all day and staff seems very friendly as well.

I have lived in the neighborhood going on 2 years, this is my go to store. I have seen it at its lows and with lots of problems. But ever since Johnny has become Manager I have seen nothing but improvement. Not only from him but from the entire staff. I would highly recommend to reach out to this store and congratulate them. I just witnessed Johnny personally reach out to a man with some problems and help him get two hot dogs and helped him pay for the cost difference. This is the kind of customer service that we need more of.

It's fresh style of convenience store and restaurant combined. My tacos were cooked with fresh ok ingredients right in front of me. Friendly staff and great selection of sandwich's, salads, and fruits.

I love the store, the prices; just not the staff. Especially the grouchy older woman. If you were to see her or talk about her, everyone would know who you are talking about.For example: I have never stolen from the store. But she treats me like I'm a thief! She talks down to me. I have complained about her and a manager explained that there are excessive complaints about her and that they're trying to move her to a different store.

I went to buy the vaquero special 2 for $4, the tacos are supposed to have steak, egg potatoes and salsa ranchera, the steak and eggs were cold like they were from the day before, and I noticed the lady didn't put the salsa on the tacos so when I asked she said for me to get the salsa from the bar, the bar didn't have any salsa, nor did they have any lids for the salsa cups, I told her I wasn't gonna pay for something I'm not getting, then with an attitude she get a big jug from the back and pours the sauce in a cup, I'm sorry but this place deserves no stars at all, now not ALL Laredo Tacos are the same, but DO NOT go to this one on Fredericksburg rd

because of the staff the place is overrated. I went to this location the first day It opened and didn't like it too much. one problem was the parking. it was so bad you had to park at another business or near a house who wasn't as busy. the only good thing about it was all the free stuff they were giving away as part of their promotional offers. stripes was giving away free stuff with their participating partners who joined in during the day the store open. this was the only good thing about the place and they barely did a good job at that. my first impression and at the same time my first time having ever been to a stripes store at all was that someway or somehow this place look generic and fake. the employees welcoming personality also seems fake and the store looks gimmicky. outside of their paycheck most of them could obviously care less about the visitors who come in and I'm sure the employees are getting irritated with having to welcome every single person who enters the store. I know I would if I worked there. I would despise every single person who comes in because I would have to be forced to welcome them in even if I didn't want to or feel like it. I think the overall feeling of this place is the unrealistic expectations the store owner(s) have over their employees and the customers when it comes to customer service and being served by the employees and just because the employees pass a background check doesn't mean they wont do or say something immoral while working at the store. Stripes days here are numbered because the hiring manager, store manager and the employees are going to be the reason for its downfall which always falls back on the customer who has to live thru it all and experience it. don't come here expecting anything great because you most likely wont get it.

I usually don't complain much cause I know the fast food industry and I know the struggle of not having your people there when you need them to help run the business I stop at your store early morning for your tacos I really love and so fresh at that time but in 3 times that I've gone they don't have breakfast ready it starts at 5am gone around 6am cause it's near the job area and I'm really upset cause I can't get my tacos seems like they just got started and still have to wait 15 to 20min to get service so I leave upset with this location the need to fix there breakfast staff employees

Pamela The Assistant Manager, is RUDE. I am a Frequent Customer at this location. The store “was” great when it 1st opened. A greeting and “Smiling Friendly Customer Service.” Now... what 2-3 years later... No “Friendly Greeting.” Only a “Disgruntled Employee with a VERY Rude Attitude. As I am a person of Color... She should certainly be investigated and ultimately fired! How many complaints do the Company need? Omg.

One time I stopped here to use their super clean bathroom (not being sarcastic) and saw a junkie picking glass out of an open wound on his cheek with a heroin syringe. Really makes you appreciate the medical level of cleanliness in a bathroom

Roy, Chris, Octavio, Carlos and a few women are polite and are extremely professional, exemplarily "STRIPES" employees...1. The rest of the staff are uncompliant...2. Refusing to do even the minimal work that is necessary so customers would want to purchase more.3. Extreamly rude with non-professionalism.4. Counts of vulgarity, unbelievably disrespectful.5. Employee's acting with a entitlement thinking that it is exceptable to act with low attitudes.6. Personal preforming conduct unbecoming of a "STRIPES" employee.7. Numerous times I have witnessed employees arguing with costumers, coming around the the counter to engage in customer employee confrontation, not deescalate the situation but escalating the situation into a confrontation unbecoming of a "STRIPES" employee...It is embarrassing to go on...Next time I'll record a video and take pictures...

Tortilla is dirty. It has black stuffs from the grill. Look at the photo. How can you serve customers like that. I didn't see ituntil I left the store. Too far to go back to complain.

Stripes has friendly Employees especially the guy that works in the taco shop tall guy. I didn't get his name. Only down fall is the store reads 24 hours night guy has a note store will remain close as does his paper work.@ about 4. Don't say 24 hrs n it's close for a hour. We needed gas to fuel our generator n we had to wait a hour a hour lost for us.

This place is terrible. Not only is this convenience store in a very unsafe location swarmed with homeless people lurking around, but the staff member assisting me was downright disrespectful, as he was very condescending and seemed rather exasperated overall, giving the appearance that I was an inconvenience to him. Such a shame. I will not be returning here, even if it means that I have to walk 1.4 km just to go to another store.

The staff is always rude to me and my husband. Unfortunately he and I are temporarily homeless. We have never stolen from them and since I have worked at convince stores, ( Family Dollar, Diamond Shamrock....before it became just Valero), I am aware of theft and that occasionally they'll be watching us at any given time. But, since I am living under a bridge I do try to take care of myself by washing my hair and my clothes. Regardless, this older women who works at that Stripes location, she orders me to leave my backpack and purse behind the counter as soon as we walk in the store. It's prejudicial. Especially since that one specific employee doesn't ask any other customer to put their purses or bags behind the counter.

It's almost a regular gas station except there's a restaurant on the inside and The Cooks in there are amazing you have to try the burritos or chimichanga plates or whatever else they're cooking it's well worth it

I was tired being on VIA Bus, Traveling 2 1/2 Hrs., HEADED BACK HOME, I got off @ Fred. & Woodlawn, had to use B.R., and Carrying My Lunch around with Me, so while doing so, I took a break, bought a Soda, sat down to eat My Sub Way, Chips and Soda, Cooled down, then left to get home. Because of that off the wall stop, I Will Be Going Back, Nice Staff, and Clean R.R. It's Not Like Most Other Corner Stores, But This One Called, STRIPES 5201 WILL BE ONE OF MY REGULAR STOP'S AWAY FROM HOME.

I was so excited to finally have a Stripes in San Antonio, but this is a horrible location. Very unsafe and it doesn't help when some of the male employees are inappropriate, asking personal questions and giving unwanted compliments to which made me feel uncomfortable. You are working so stay professional!! I don't want to get hit on when I'm only trying to buy myself refreshments! I won't be returning to this location. I only hope San Antonio can open more locations in the next few years. Stripes is my favorite convenient store.

I like their service most of the time and enjoy their food but I think this lady call "Pamela" should learn how to treat people with respect because she talks to people like you are stealing stuff or begging for money and charging for extras when advertised with itI went in there to get hotdogs and was charged extra for pico de gallo when the photo shows the hotdog with it because I wasn't going to eat thereI'm a regular customer who lives 5 blocks from it

Its sad, this location gets one star for their variety. The Laredo kitchen is ok in a pinch, not great. And service is poor. Staff has bad attitude, and no cash back.... Seriously? Valero made a mistake here.
