The staff here is dismissive and rude,I just moved from another part of town so I came for the first time looking for my dog's food, one of the employees just dismissively yelled from across the hall and said: WE DON'T CARRY THAT BRAND, I've been buying this brand for a few years from pet smart now, after 30 long minutes of looking for it on my own, As I was leaving she then said they do have it and that I should go look again, I did and they were out of it, the employee didn't even apologized for giving wrong information and had wasted my time for almost 45 minutes, when they could have clearly just tell me they were out of it and not that they don't Carry it at all... Anyway, I wish I didn't have to go back to this specific location

Good selection, a bit pricey. Also, look at dates on sale signs. They don't honor them even if they leave them up past the sale date. They do a great job with hosting Santa pictures with pets every year.

I asked a question to a male employee at 8am on 12/02 working at this location. The question was about having a self checkout so customers don't have to wait until 9am,and I received a sarcastic and dismissive response- that's above my pay grade and not my job.My opinion, I do not recommend this store, they do not have a Kiosk for a reason, because they suck so bad they cannot afford one.So shop online, it's less expensive, plus you don't have to deal with employees that hate their job and the company they work for.

I will admit I was skeptical to bring my baby to get her groomed here but they treated her very well! Chucky was great and took his time with Dani. And she looks so pretty with her new cut! I think I’ve found a new place to get her groomed (: thank you Chucky and PetSmart for taking care of my baby!

This is for the grooming area every time I come in the store it’s always a problem last time I bought my dog she always gets a fade all around I pick her up she has a bear cut I been coming here multiple times I have never gotten dog a bear cut she go too say oh I thought you said bear cut NO!!! So I say well can you fix it she said oh I’m sorry were close you just close 2 minutes ago! So today I came I have a picture of my dogs, vaccine and rabies shots they tell me they need the physical copy I said I can go home give me a minute they said oh we’re booked it’s just always something

Not sure about the employees at this location. The cashier gave me the wrong aisle number twice, the third time I asked for help to come to me. The guy walks up behind me ( about 1.5 feet from me), I turn around and he’s holding a rat! Not everyone is a RAT enthusiast! I got my wild salmon oil from the aisle he took me to and left. I decided to get the other things I needed elsewhere

Petco is the worst place to shop not only are they totally overpriced now. You have to purchase a bag to carry out the overprice product that you bought for ten cents that's just ridiculous.

I have been going to Petsmart in Windcrest for 9 years for grooming and the veterinarian clinic previously. I complement the grooming girls. They are the sweetest on earth, but the other day I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at any retail Store When I came out to pay for my grooming that I would like to share. I brought a $20 bill and had my wallet stolen a few days prior at Walmart so I did not have a wallet but just the $20 bill. I’m also in a rental car at the moment so I didn’t have spare change like I usually do in my vehicle. The nail clipping with also the grinding of the nails to make them smooth was $19. When I came out to pay there was tax on that and it came to $20.57. Again, I only brought the $20 but I found .37 cents in the car, being .20 cents short. I told them I was very sorry and didn’t know what to do for the .20 cents. At that time the Manager who was incredibly rude and impatient, said I had to come up with it. The guy behind me offered to put the 20 cents on his bill, and the young gentleman at the register said that could not be done either. I guess Petsmart doesn’t believe in paying it forward for people. I didn’t know what to do, but was being held hostage for .20 cents. We own a business and would let people go for being $2.00 short and just put in a discount or something for them instead of embarrassing them in front of everybody let alone 20 cents. I couldn’t believe the agitation they had for me and not letting somebody else pay 20 cents to be kind and fix the situation but instead this Petsmart was making me endure when I had no way to come up with it. I appreciate the guy behind me trying to help, but I do not appreciate the male cashier or the female manager who absolutely insisted it was only I who could come up with the .20 cents and try to make me pay it with some app I do not have on my phone. I no longer believe in Petsmart but will go somewhere else like Petco and I do not recommend this place with this new manager, and the way they treat customers. I hope you stay in business Petsmart and don’t go broke over .20 cents. Have a very Merry Christmas this Holiday Season 🎄

Got some great toys for my Pepper. She's a Shi-poo, she got some grooming also. They have always been the groomers for me 😜 I have only used them twice before. But I still love the look of my Pepper.. Great Job..

Today I went in and asked for any betta fish he said he was a manager that they had no betta fishbut once I called corporate to make a complaint he came out of the back with a cart full of betta fish... What a tool.

Came in to buy two more Angel fish and this is what I found... dead fish everywhere and poor maintained fish tanks. Another reason why is better to invest a little more on fish at a local independent pet shops!

Got my Pomeranian groomed here. AND the groomer was AMAZING! Her name is Zariah! After this great experience I don't see myself going anywhere else!was a little skeptical at first because of the reviews. But very attentive and kind.This PetSmart is awesome!! And they added a little scarf for him!! ADORABLE :)

My favorite pet smart to come shop at. Staff are always very friendly, attentive, it is one of the few stores that are always in stock. For some reason other pet smarts are allways out of certain items.

We take our puppy here to get groomed. We have been going here since he was 4 months old. Michael does a great job. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. Appointments start at 7am, which works well with my schedule. This store is 1 of 2, that sells our dogs food in San Antonio. I am very satisfied with this petsmart location.

Have come here a few times for nail trims but after today, I won’t be returning. My girls nails were bleeding and I now have blood all over the back of my car. The woman who greeted me seemed either extremely tired, pissed off, or on some sort of medication making her extremely unpleasant. The girl who did my dogs nails was friendly, but her nails now look so shoddy and I’m sure she’s in pain. Won’t be back.

Great atmosphere asked where the cages were the associate walked me over and stayed with me while I picked one out, took it to the front, I paid then they put it in my car. Took all of 10 mins. Loved it.

Place to go for picky eatersYou would think animals that were strays would be willing to eat just about anything.Nope! Once they realize that they have a forever home, they automatically become connoisseurs of feline food.So, what are your choices? Local grocery chains usually have poor quality choices. Petco and Pet supplies plus don't have the selection. Petsmart does legit have choices that the others don't. Is it expensive? Well, yeah, but you know what is more expensive? Throwing away a plate of food that your precious refused to eat.Other than ordering online, this is the best bet for fussy eaters.

A great place to shop for all your pet needs. A bit pricey on items compared to other retail chains but a wider selection. Love the pet clinic. We take both of our 4 legged kids here. They take good care of our babies.
