I love this Pet Smart! Aaron was very helpful offering help while I was in the aisle searching for the right size kennel. Matthew was helpful for my exchange. PetSmart is well stocked with what I need for my pet. Employees are always friendly. We had our dog's nails trimmed and the groomer was careful & caring. We also completed a 6-wk dog training class there and the trainer Kat was excellent. The only reason I don't rate PetSmart 5-stars is they are pricey. Better to comparison shop before you make a purchase. Here's our graduate!

Amazing! This was our first grooming experience with PetSmart. Booked grooming appointment on the app. Bath and full haircut with the Chi plus package. We chose to have this package bc Keoniana really needed a nice grooming. My mini poodle looked so fantastic after Natalie F. groomed her beautifully and carefully. My family loved that Natalie took care of Keoniana bc our little girl can be uneasy around strangers, but everyone at PetSmart was fantastic! She wasn’t even afraid of Natalie and the ladies there like she normally is at her local groomer. We will be booking Natalie F. from now on. We even booked her for Fluffy—our husky/German shepherd mix—next week. My mother is really happy about Keoniana and insisted we quickly book Natalie F. for Fluffy. I just want to make sure to give a thankful shoutout to Natalie F. and the rest of the ladies that helped with Keoniana. Thank you so much!Edit: forgot to add photos2nd Edit: Fluffy was groomed by Karen G. bc Natalie F. had called in sick, and it looked nice. However, I didn’t think Anna should have added the $10 to the grooming fee bc I was already paying for a bath and haircut—I should have just booked the Bath and Brush, which is about $20 cheaper. Just a warning to everyone going in — please pay attention to any changes or add-ons for prices. After noticing this, I felt a little cheated and thought that they only cared about money this time around, so I took a star away. I would have taken two away, but I took my other dog Keoniana back and Christen H. helped a great deal and was very kind to Keoniana like Natalie was. She did a great job for Keoniana’s second groom, and she cared a lot about pets. I did notice that on the PetSmart APP there are two different prices, which isn’t explained unless I missed it somewhere. The bath and cut shows $56 but changed to $61—I don’t know why, but I would like an explanation. Same issue happened when I booked an appt with Nick G. for Fluffy. It shows $47 but then $52. If the $5 is going directly to the groomer for tip, then I don’t mind at all, but I wish the app would let us choose the tip.

I don’t come into the store too often but I do love the times I decide to take a trip because they always have pet perks sales. This last trip we came in to get some fish to accompany our beta and the employees were super helpful in giving recommendations. Also added some Ned pieces to our tank as well.

1 star is mostly for grooming. Most employees there are rude. Prices have also gotten ridiculous. They were going to charge me over $120 for my yorkie!!! Nothing fancy either. I’d rather support the small business owners.

My dog was well bathed, but I also overpayed because extra services were added on without my knowledge. I booked a simple bath and brush session as I ALWAYS do and then the groomer (Tariq) said he would only do a furminator session on him which I agreed to as I had budgeted for my visit with a coupon. When I picked my dog up the groomer had added an EXTRA brushing fee on top of the extra brushing already included in the package without my permission. It also looks as though he cut/shaved my shepherds coat/tail which is not to be done on a long haired shepherd. He also argued with me that my dog needed to book a haircut next session to shave down his long hair. Absolutely not. Even the AKC website says you are not to cut or shave down a German shepherd’s coat. Very disappointed in this location for not listening to my instructions, not having proper shepherd knowledge, and the fact that I went from having to pay $34 with my coupon to $75 with coupon. Should’ve read these reviews sooner. Do not take your long haired pups here. There is a lack of knowledge surrounding their grooming needs.

This place is absolutely worthless. All they wanted to do was collect my information and they couldn't help me with anything. Staff there seem stoned. They lack so much inventory that I need. Don't come here unless you call ahead of time if there is something specific you need. They sell the basics, but so does everywhere else. Waste of a trip

The actual store & it’s employees are amazing ! BUT the grooming staff are extremely rude and will overcharge you . Make sure you pay close attention to your invoice !!!! I will never return to this location & i will be contacting their corporate office . The way i was treated was extremely unprofessional. I hate that after a year of taking my animal to this location , i had to be treated with such disrespect today.

Just have to rave on this location. I only shop here for my puppy's hills wet food, snacks and toys. The customer service is always a positive experience. Curb side pick up is an ease. The location is always stocked. My puppy loves to come.

At the time went to buy fish they made it from San Antonio to Kerrville just fine when I was there did not have any problem finding someone and was really patient with decisions and was actually pretty knowledgeable on what they had and an extra Plus for me they actually have labels male-female Etc... they also did have rodents, reptiles, dog training and I think grooming and some more cool things there...

Grooming services have always been great. Recently got my dog a haircut by an Academy student and she did great! Prices are very competitive in store as well and the rewards program allows you to get discounts quickly.

Really enjoy going to this PetSmart! My pup also enjoys it. On rainy days we like to stop in for a walk. Very clean compare to others I have been too. Also Kat the dog trainer is very patient and we are very thankful for her guidance with our Golden Retriever.

Just got done with grooming and it's my first time going to grooming at petsmart and Nick G did an AMAZING JOB on my baby peps he even gave him a tail fade I'm SHOOK 10/10 recommend thank you so much for taking care of him no one has ever gotten his wirey hair to look so good !!

I needed to return an item that had never been used,a large swimming pool for dogs,costing 69.99dls. when I returned it,the return price was 55.46 + tax. A difference in price of approximately 14.00 DLS. The box had never been opened and had original tape sealing itNo damage to box. I could have put it back on the shelf. It's a good thing I had nothing else to return. Every item had a return price. The total amount spent was 279.56. Most businesses have free returns. They may have time limits. I will never use this business again due to this rip off policy. Buyers beware..

The staff was friendly and the store appeared neat and organized. Until you get to the aquatic section. Many of the tanks have algae growth and some of the other tanks have fish that are dead, dying, or the tanks have both.It’s just something I don’t think that the general public nor children need to see. And since they close in an hour, the fish will probably be left in there overnight.

Tried to find a new reflective collar for my mom's dog, but couldn't find any, so a bit sad by that. However, the young lady who helped me get a bunch of fish for my mom's rain barrels and water trough totally made up for the lack of collars. Came home with 15 fish, she was kind enough to put them in 3 separate bags and made sure all the gray ones were all together! Have to commend that kind of customer service!Thank you

Super helpful staff. They were also very sweet. The young lady working in the fish area was knowledgeable with fish. The cashiers were friendly. The rows rows are a little small to shop but that is just the company design.

This PetSmart is completly terrible, unprofessional and rude!!! I take my puppy to the PetSmart off DeZavala and i10 all the time for a puppy bath and the whole staff loves him and I've never had a problem. I just moved to the Rim so I figured it was only convenient to come to this location. First time, they told me my dog was very aggressive and that they would have to get the city involved if he bit someone and it would be out of there hands. Second time, I brought him they told me he was banned from PetSmart. I recommend to take your dog to any PetSmart but here; they do not know how to control challenging dogs ( My dog wouldn't hurt a fly) he thinks bath time is a game. Anyways, since my dog is apparently banned from this location I will just have to drive a little further to the DeZavala location where they actually know how to work with dogs.....

I really like this Petsmart. The employees and most of the customers are very friendly. I have had several spontaneous conversations with random ppl and the employees. The store is very well kept up, clean, organized and easy to navigate with or without your pet. The parking lot is also very nice, with cart returns located in convenient spots throughout.The reason I gave it a 4 start vs 5 is because I have come in on random occasions needing a pet food or supply and they were out. I normal do my shopping online and have it delivered to my house. However, like I stated before I have need something I can't wait on the shipping time I will come in. Not being able to get what I need after making a trip over an hour to get there kinda sucks! On the other hand, I have learned to call before or check the supply on line and order two hour pickup. They stay pretty busy and are located on a very nice shopping area. There is a lot of nice places to shop at or eat at near by. I recommend coming here for you pet's food and other needs. One bad apple. First bad experience was actually aweful. Took senior dog to appointment when I picked her up I was told that the animal had an open injury a puncture on the neck which was bloody and I was informed she was full of fleas. Panicked I took her directly to vet. Vet removed flap of skin which was a mole that was all but torn off by clippers upon exam ther were several moles the groomer caught in clippers. I was sure to point out due to her age she had these. Vet also inspected for fleas and did not find one. Grooming bill had extra charges vet bill $180 it would have been proper to just tell the truth that clippers injured dog not pretend she had a puncture wound and fleas. Beware of groomers.

Best pet smart in this area. Anytime I’m fostering a new animal and need advice, the employees are always ready to help me with what I need. The products i’m looking for are always in stock. Pet Smart is on the pricey side of pet toys, so I would skip on getting toys here and go to target instead.

My Cavalier received a sporty hair cut and she look marvelous. The groomer Richard did an excellent job and the Assist Manager was very good about going over our needs. We did find it a bit pricey and the Salon could us a good cleaning, but overall I would recommend then

SORRY GROOMING IS TOO BUSY to work with my dog Mitzi. Banned my other dog Panda because he was old. I guess I will make sure the mobile groomers are well paid. Sad, really sad. Excuses make a person weak. Strenght comes in challenges. Thank you for your excuses. I will take my business elsewhere and spead the word that Petsmart Grooming was too busy.
