I was driving to go to the Sally's beauty near this PetSmart and someone on the road honked at me and it made me feel really sad and hurt my feelings, and yes, it may have been my fault or it may not have. But besides that it made my day worse. So I decided to go to PetSmart and share myself up by looking at the cats and the reptiles and the birds and the rodents and it really made my day better. I didn't really purchase anything but it's just an enjoyable place to walk around and it really helped me feel better by looking at the cats mainly. I love cats. The workers were nice. The animals are amazing. Me and this chameleon were playing peekaboo and I think it was the best game of peekaboo I've ever played in my life. And there was a cat. I can't remember his name but I got a picture of it and it was very loving and sweet and if I was looking for a cat I literally would have bought it but I can't take care of a cat right now. But someone should go to that PetSmart and adopt it because it's cute. Anyway, thank you for the good experience. PetSmart!

Plenty of space in this location and Petsmart is amazing because you can take your dog into the store with you! This is a big reason that I go here. On top of the that staff is incredibly nice and compassionate. When you are checking out they ask you if your dog would like a treat and give them a bone. They have a fantastic selection of all dog food brands not the limited selection that grocery stores have. Lots of grocery store brands aren't 4-5 star quality food but this PetSmart does. They also carry toys for all animals. Their foam beds section is great to try before you buy.They also have a great selection of all types of cat care products and food as well. They stock other animals and care products for exotics pets in some sections which is great if you have one.These are some of my favorite dog food brands that they stock.

The ladies in the grooming salon were wonderful, attentive and kind to my little pup. They did a great job on her bath and hair cut and they trimmed her nails better than anywhere else i have taken her. And i was able to use a coupon I received in my email. We will definitely be taking Daisy back for her next cut!

This review is specific to Abi the trainer at the Alamo Ranch location. I adopted a puppy and took her in for general obedience lessons. After completing puppy classes we also signed up for intermediate and advanced lessons (there were 3 of us in that class who wanted to keep our dogs together with Abi as our trainer). You can tell Abi has a passion for dogs, it shines through in every class. She has patience for the owners who might be struggling (me!) and makes each class fun for the owners and dogs. My pup ended up having intense anxiety around people and Abi has worked with her 1:1, always showing patience and praising my pup for her progress. If I see Abi in the store she goes out of her way to ask me how my pup is doing. I cannot say enough about how much support Abi has provided and I will continue to take my dogs to this location for as long as Abi works there!

We will not be using PetSmart for their grooming services again. Our friends actually think we cut our dog’s hair ourselves. Not to mention mats were left on his ears. Seemed like they were just trying to make a quick buck. Not what you would expect from a professional organization.

Went to 2 different Petsmart locations within the same area. There is no consistency with your grooming department. Website and door specify open till 9pm, but arrived at 7pm and was informed that they were "closed for the day" and hours always very. Don't offer walk-in services if you are not staying open at the time indicated.

Never go here. I have booked an appointment for my dog and she is vaccinated and her tags on her collar. But they didn’t know about the tag and need records on paper. My app was down and not able to show it. But they didn’t wait for to check my app for her details and canceled the appointment. Bad behavior from the staff. I will not return to this center again. I opted a 0 star but can’t.

Took our furbabies in for a nail trim. Then Sara spoke to us about grinding, as well. So, I noticed they had a "Pawdicure" for $22. We decided to do that. We are very pleased!!💜 Our furbabies even received cologne and a cute little bandana. We will definitely be back in 3 weeks.

Yesterday 01/18/24, I took my dog to this petsmart for day camp and a scheduled grooming at 4pm. When I dropped my dog off in the morning at 9AM I went to the groomer first as is the custom and got the paperwork to take to the pet hotel/day camp. Before I left the groomer I told them I would pick my dog up there (once her grooming was done-bath n brush). Then took my dog to the hotel n gave them the grooming paperwork. 5PM that day and no call. 6PM and no call. Me and my husband decided to go to Petsmart and check on the status of the groomer. This was now 6:30PM. I opened the door to the groomer and see two employees standing talking. I ask about my dog and they tell me she's at the hotel. I said how long has she been there? And they say since 4:30PM. I go to the hotel and get my dog and ask why no one called me. This young woman just kept apologizing. My dog sat in a kennel for two hours and no one called me. Who knows how long my dog would have sat there before someone called me. I won't be taking my dog to this location anymore.

Don't even consider buying fish from PetSmart. My mistake was thinking "how bad could it be?"...well, after bringing our (gorgeous) red/black leopard-tail guppie home, noticed it was acting strangely, & sadly woke up the next morning to it having disappeared, plus a pile of snails/shrimp (they only eat already-dead fish).> PetSmart does have a "return policy", HOWEVER-- you have to fish out & 'bring the dead body' with you....but there was no body left to bring. 💀⚰️We've never had fish die on us within hours anywhere other than from PetSmart.

The store is about 6 minutes from where I live. Petsmart has the dry food Diego loves (Diego is my 247 pounds, European Great Dane). Petsmart is a true pet friendly store. We love Petsmart!

Do not go here expecting any kind of customer service. Wasted my time going here for something the website said was in stock, only to deal with rude employees, including the so-called “manager.” Will stick to ordering off Amazon from now on.

Love their groomer but they can't seem to keep our dogs food in stock. They blame the vendors but I ordered from Chewy and got it for the same price free delivery in 2 days. Guess I will stick with Chewy.

Good selection of pet stuff, the employees are attentive and helpful. The pet adoption area is great. We saw a couple of kittens there we liked and a week later brought them home. ❤️

Reserved a pet hotel online and then received a voicemail confirming the reservation. Called the store to verify the room and I was told that there are no reservations available. Not sure where the disconnect from the store and online reservations, but it's frustrating.

This is only regarding PetSmart (Alamo Ranch location) Training. I would not recommend training at the Alamo Ranch location with Abigail. She blamed my dog of making the 7 year old beagle that was in the class to continue to bark, even though he was barking at people and other dogs walking through the store and barking because he heard the dogs at the dog hotel barking. Dogs bark, it didn't bother me that he was barking, but she continued to blame my dog of staring at the dog and making him bark. She went as far as for two class sessions to place her cart in front of me and my dog. After the second class, she asked to speak to me and suggested that I find another class time for my dog because she felt she was feeling stressed. My dog has never acted stressed in her life. I had told other friends that I was taking my dog to PetSmart for training, but I would not recommend it to anyone unless they try another trainer and the manager was just as bad. When I tried to explain to him about the situation, I could tell he didn't care. I was referred to another trainer, but by this time I was through with the entire idea of having my dog trained there.

I go here quite often as I have a dog and a cat. They have such a variety of sections to shop for which is great to find just about anything you need. The salon is great with amazing employees as well.

I took my dog in for the work. Hair cut , bath nail trim teeth brush. So, pick my dog up, and his hair was not cut right. I have for the teddy bear cut that his been getting for year's at a different petsmart at 151 and 410, but they didn't have an opening available, so I took him 1604 and Culebra at west over hills location. Well, this is what I got his hair looks like someone just cut it with scissors, or they just rush his hair cut just like, his bath its seem rush as well the only reason I say this I had to take my dog to the vet and not one but both ears were infected aslo brush his teeth his front nail were trim, but the back nail where not. This is the last time I take my dog to this petsmart. I spend $115 dollars for this.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! it has one star because it won't let me post without one star. but HORRIBLE. Never have I ever had such an experience at petsmart like this one. I took my puppy to get a haircut, and bath. I paid the halloween special to get a bandana for halloween so my doggy can wear it. The minute I arrive, the lady Jaz was rude with attitude. Normally when they get my dog, and exchange leashes they are sweet and try to talk to them, and pet them. Not her, she was rude to my dog. My dog even peed herself because of how nervous she was. This has NEVER happened in the two years we have gone there. When I picked her up, she told me that she was really nervous, and had to take certain measures and it cost me an extra $10 but she will waive it. It took her a while in the back to get my dog. When walking her out, she sprayed her with something right in her face my dog just shook her head and ran toward me. I normally have a pretty hyper dog, but this time she was running with fear. She was also choking!!! Jaz was pulling on the blue leash they use and was pulling even though my dog was choking, and i bent down to try to stick my finger in the leash and it was so tight, i told her i was taking it off and threw it on the floor. When picking the bandana she asked which one, and I said we got the halloween special, and she rolled her eyes and said " no, you did not". I said yes, and showed the receipt and said " fine". My dog ran out so fast, that she was pulling from her vest. My dog has literally not been behaving normal AT ALL. She is just laying down, and wont be energetic or play around. This is concerning as I do not trust them to not have hurt her. While waiting I saw a woman slapping a dogs back a little too hard because she needed to turn it. They were rude, and what I saw i am NEVER going back again!! I am escalating this and it's so sad they work with pets, only to treat them this way. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Jaz had horrible attitude , and did not seem to care she was hurting my dog. This is embarrassing for them wanting to work with pets but being rude toward them.

My baby loves doggie day camp as much as mommy does. My baby comes home nicely tired from all the puppy play time. And I love the puppy report card. And knowing my baby ate his packed lunch too.

I never enter the store without being greeted! The staff is so friendly and you can tell they love their job. The store is always clean (unless a dog just had a whoopsie but it is cleaned quickly). The animals look well cared for and I love how they are always willing to host rescue animal locations so the pups can be adopted.

People at the Culebra location are fantastic! They always go out of their way to help you, and have only quality products, and food. The people back in the Doggy Day-Camp, and Pets-Hotel area, are absolutely some of the most loving, and caring people I have ever met!! Several months ago, I completely dislocated my ankle, and broke 5 bones. Between the hospital, and months in physical rehab, they took care of my little boy Sammie like he was their own! The staff gave him extra special care with treats, was always loving on him, and even brought toys and things for him when they came to work! As much as I missed Sammie, I would always be getting updates, and I took allot of comfort in knowing that he was getting the best care possible. He was being absolutely loved on, and spoiled by everyone! Sammie was my little baby...and I will NEVER be able to thank the staff over there enough for everything they did...for both of us!! They are absolutely amazing!!!!! I recommend this place extremely highly, as t is a great place to let your animals stay and play!
