This location has literally never had anything I'm ever looking for. The staff is always pretty nice but it seems like the location is filled with whole lot of nothing. I've come here many times because it's the most convenient location for me, but I've only ever bought something from here once because they've never had literally anything else I've ever looked for. Not shampoo for my poodles, not the very common small breed food I usually get. Coming to this location has always been a huge waste of my time.

Ashlynn is a great trainer, and she should be held up as a model employee. Our market is always well stocked with a variety of canned foods for our pet Astrid. We highly recommend this location to anyone who lives on the Northwest side of San Antonio.

Went in to get a beta. Saw multiple DEAD fish on display. In disgusting water which means they clearly died of neglect. This Disgusting store doesn’t care about its animals.

Terrible grooming department, have tried PetSmart a few times now. Each time its a different issue. Was told my grooming session was take approx. 1-1.5 hour(s). I receive no call almost 4 hours later so I go in store to check on my pet. They let me know its STILL another 10 mins. She has been sitting in a kennel for the past 3 hours waiting even though we made an early appointment weeks in advance. While speaking to a manager he lectures me and then employee interrupts him for a silly question that could have easily waited the 5 mins until we were done but instead he interrupts me and goes to help her. Terrible communication, customer service, etc..Will never be back to this or any Petsmart again. Is a I'm sorry how can I make this right so hard?

Nice clean store. Came here for a replacement water pump filter and an algae eater and walked out with a pair of snails. Hahaha The algae eater would've been more exciting to watch - maybe. I think one of the snails is stuck between the glass and the log.Anyhow, the fish guy was helpful and attentive; but they didn't have the filter I needed; but could purchase a whole new pump.The "Aquatic" section is to the immediate right as you enter. The aquatic supplies are not by the fish tanks, though.

Just look at our baby! 😍 My kids are so happy with what an amazing job Anna did with our Great Pyrenees Ivy. Such a beautiful princess. Her legs, tail, and groin always have so many clumps and get so long. This grooming will help her through the summer months so well. Thank you Anna!

they always are friendly and helpful. We've adopted a cat recently from them and they were so sweet to my oldest child when helping them pick out their cat and make sure we had everything we needed. This is our go to petsmart.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, they left my poor puppy wet and he’s shedding like crazy he never sheds !! My puppy is sad and is stressed. I don’t recommend you to bring your pets here for grooming. Even got charged extra for unevenly shaving his butt. Worst service ever.

I was in search for puzzles. They had a few but a very limited selection, no level 4's for our Yorkie who figures them out so quickly. The puzzles they did have though are great and held up to a very destructive rescue pup of ours- they didn't break on the first go like other brands we have tried. I will check back to see if they get anymore in or another location has them.

Suan E. was my dachshunds groomer and she cut his belly with a blade resulting in an open wound. I’m not sure why a groomer would use a sharp enough object on the belly area to pierce the skin.This incident resulted in a visit to the vet and he will unfortunately have to be in a cone for the rest of the week.

Visited for the opening, beautiful new store with new concept areas. So many options to choose from. Cashier was super sweet and welcoming, I'm excited to have a Pet Smart closer to home. I loved it here. Got a few toys and treats for my pups.

I think my furbabies had a good time lol I wished they had more bandana options or that after they got groomed, they would get a free bandana like at this other grooming places. But other than that I was happy to take my furbabies here and impressed to find dog cakes! Along other items like doggy bows and ties! 👏

My family goes to this Petsmart often due to its convenient location. We usually only go here for the grooming services but I LOVE the work they do. We have 2 dogs (1 German Shepard and 1 Yorkie) and they always do such an amazing job and they are really good with our dogs.

So my 3 yr old granddaughter was getting her first fish, mind you I knew nothing about how to do this. MIA at PetSmart too us under her wings and explained EVERYTHING we needed to know. When my granddaughters mom and I had questions MIA did not make us feel dumb. we got everything we needed and my granddaughter is a happy camper!😀😃😄😁 thanks again MIA!You Rock!!

I love going in to this store because of the convenience and the associates are so kind. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the beta fish display. The containers are always so dirty and I’ve seen several dead on display. These poor fish already have to live in such a small container.

I shop here for my cat as it’s the closest location to me. My kids love going inside to see all the cats they have for adoption. Always wanting to bring one home with us. They’re adorable.All items are always in stock for what I need. Managers are great. Good markdowns on items, especially the expensive healthier food options.Store is usually organized and clean the loss of a star is because it is often busy with long lines. Sometimes the wait to get someone else to the front to help is long and they do not groom cats here!! The Petsmarts in AZ did, so I wish they’d do cat grooming here in San Antonio!

Paid for the full package of puppy training and were not disappointed. We didn't start with Shanti but did finish with her. She has an obvious love for animals, dogs of course and was well spoken and patient. We still bring him in when buying supplies for him and the staff seem to love his crazy face!

The receptionist in grooming place at this location is very incompetent, we had an appointment, but I was never told what kind of vaccinations should I provide, so I just grabbed that ones that we had, but we did not have the latest on file. If they would have told me specific vaccine that they want I would look better at home before appointment. Very disappointed, another location earlier did provide all the information that they need, but it was some time ago and I didn’t remember all that.

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave one for not the store itself, but the grooming dept manager, “Erica”.I will say as a business owner myself, I’ve never dealt with someone who handled things as unprofessionally as she has. I recently brought my three dogs to be groomed there and we loved the groomer, Annaleigh, however one of my dogs was making a jaw movement during the grooming process that made them suspicious. After contacting me about it asking if he does that normally, I let them know i didn’t think so but I would bring him to a vet to be sure there was nothing wrong with him. Which I did. I provided documentation to them that what he had was nothing serious but some dental issues causing inflammation. They refused to take my paperwork, they refused to groom my dog, whom has nothing wrong with him besides needing a teeth cleaning!!Furthermore she ignored my calls to address it and basically told me that “she could make any decision she wanted regardless if I provided documentation or not.” She didn’t seem happy that I spoke to her higher-up. Her manager, Didi was pleasant and seemed to think it would be fine to provide the paperwork. But Erica refused to allow it giving me some lines that they could be held liable by PetSmart even for gum disease…. I had to laugh as this makes zero sense, and the release form you sign prior to them grooming is a page long.It’s sad that this decision was made out of spite rather than documentation and proof. She could use some lessons on professionalism and customer service. If anything goes wrong during your visit, don’t expect her to provide rational service.
