On 4/14/2024, I brought my dog, Griffin, in for grooming at the 11791 Bandera Rd branch. However, I was shocked and dismayed by the quality of the grooming job performed. Despite providing clear instructions and expectations, the results were far below acceptable standards. Autumn, the grooming associate, shaved 2 lines down his back and left the rest of the hair on with the reason of him having mats in his hind legs, no where else. They were not tight to his skin at all and would easily get a shaver in between to get it done. His coat has a tendency to tangle easily and I have taken him prior and had no issues. He has redness and nicks from the shaver around his tail area, the entire ordeal was improperly handled. No attempt was made to even make him look decent before leaving the store. It was quite embarrassing and I have no idea how an any employee could leave an beloved pet looking so horrendous.As a loyal customer of PetSmart for many years (about 12 years now), I have always trusted your brand to provide excellent care for my pet. I have spent thousands on supplies, and grooming over those years. However, this experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the well-being of my furry companion.I kindly request that immediate action be taken to rectify this situation. I live over an hour away, each way, I drive the time because I trusted in PetSmart.I expect compensation for the grooming service and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed to ensure my pet's grooming needs are met with the level of professionalism and care I have come to expect from PetSmart.

We were very nervous taking our 7mo old goldendoodle for her 1st grooming appt. This was also our first experience ever with a groomer so we didn’t really know what to expect. Mark took time to get to know her and ask us questions. We did show him a few pictures of what type of cut we had in mind but we were also comfortable with him using his best judgement. We dropped her off and she was ready for pick up about 2 hours later. Mark did a great job with her and she looks great. Thank you!

If you wanna support the general manager being rude and talking bad about employees with disabilities then keep going. I should know I was the manager she said this to. I quit 2 weeks later. To all complaining she works about 30 hours of her 50 hour work week. That's why finding anyone to help you is hard and the lines are long. She also regularly doesn't take sick animals to the vet. Real class act. 👏 her name is Adrianna.

Went to 2 different Petsmart locations within the same area. There is no consistency with your grooming department. Website and door specify open till 9pm, but arrived at 7pm and was informed that they were "closed for the day" and hours may vary daily. Don't offer walk-in services if you are not staying open at the time indicated. Management was not present for assistance.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GROOMING. I took my 4 month old puppy in for a haircut because his hair was so long and he has TANGLES NOT MATS. They told me they needed to cut them off and I agreed. I let her know to BLEND the hair on top I don’t want him shaved all the way around and this is what I get? This is what they call blended? They also nicked him and he was bleeding. I am so unhappy with the service, the manager could care less sounded like this has been an ongoing issue because there was no solution besides refund. Do not go here

I don’t leave reviews very often but the grooming department needs an attitude adjustment. All groomers there are extremely unhappy and unfriendly. They do not greet you or make you feel unwelcome.Everything they’ve asked of me I complied. My dogs are elderly and they charge the express service, which is fine. I have to pick them up immediately after grooming, I’m there within 10-15 min. I even tipped each groomer. However, no change in attitude. Not a “thank you” or “have a nice day.” Extremely unprofessional and miserable people. I’m never coming back to this grooming salon

Apparently 🙄 they no longer carry a pill dispensers in order to administer your fur babies medication. Why don’t they tone down their over abundance of toys and pet clothes and actually carry an important item my dog needs everyday! Disappointed Petsmart.

They test aquarium water for free. So far among all the fishes that I bought, the only one that survived in our aquarium was the fish that I bought from here. Staff at the registers never fails to greet customers as soon as they enter the store. Really good customer service.

Our first experience with a groomer here did not go well. We decided to give it a second try and were glad we did! Veronica (the groomer) did a great job and did exactly as we requested. Ariel was clean, cut, smelled good, and was given a cute Halloween bandana to wear when she left! Thanks Veronica for doing a wonderful job!!

Lots of pet adoption on the weekends. Can be a bit crazy with lots of dogs looking for a home. Turtles, lizards, snakes and fish too. They did not have much of a Guinea pig selection and only a couple gerbils. Prices seemed good for gecko and bearded lizards. Like the information listed on expertise level and the care required.

Zang is amazing. I have tried other groomers and came home and with disasters. She is patient and kind with my senior pets. They always look awesome! She is a top groomer! Ask for her, you won’t be disappointed! ZANG!

I am very satisfied with the grooming of both my dogs. The associate that checked me in seemed to really care about the condition of my dogs skin, teeth, ears and nails. The only problem I ran into is that they would not accept two $10 coupons for the two bath and brush purchases for each of my dogs because of the fact that I scheduled them together. I was not pleased with that.

some items are a little pricey i.e. consequently chew tab is 29.99, it's 22.99 at Walmart. People there are friendly and helpful. ended up getting an outfit for my dog.

Amazing experience with the trainer there. She helped give us a run down of what to expect from training, and even took time to recommend treats/toys for our new puppy. Helpful in every way! Reccomend! The grooming staff was also so kind for our first time there, we were able to see our puppy taken care of for his nails and the employees at the grooming salon were all kind!

We took our Siberian Husky to get a bath, trim fur from his paw pads, and trim his nails. He tends to be a little shy, but the people there are great with him. When they were done, they put a cute bandana around his neck as a finishing touch. I recommend Petsmart.
