If I could give this place no stars I would. Please do not buy from this establishment they need to go out of business. They should not be operating at all and it’s a wonder they’re still able to be in business. Just bought a puppy from them that is deathly ill. He had kennel cough that escalated to pneumonia because they left him untreated and neglected him. His sister also is extremely ill and neglected so this is not an isolated incident. On top of the pneumonia he also has an eye infection. I didn’t know this before we went to this store but they buy from puppy mills that neglect and mistreat their puppies! We payed almost 4 grand for this dog and this establishment is saying that if he dies then we don’t get our money back or a partial refund. So be warned that if you buy from this establishment the puppies are EXTREMELY pricey and sick. The store attendants also know nothing about puppies and are not qualified to be selling or treating them. DO NOT GO HERE.

this place is amazing 👏🏾 they give you alone time with the animals so you can see which one is a good fit for your family! My granddaughter and I enjoyed getting up close and personal with the puppies. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful when I had breed specific questions. Adoption is a bit on the expensive side for my budget however I definitely recommend them for your new fur baby if you can afford 3500 and up it comes with a lot of services just too steep for me personally!

Poor living conditions for the puppies - in small spaces sometimes too many pups in one cage. The store manager failed to inform us that there was a respiratory virus going around at the time of our purchase. I only found out after taking my puppy to her 5 day check up at their preferred vet. Thankfully our puppy is doing well. I couldn’t imagine the heartbreak our family would endure if we had lost her.

This place is special to my family because we don't always have a lot of money. And when my kids wanted to get out and do something or had a bad day I would take them here. The reason why is they have cubicles where you can go and visit and play with the puppies. And it's free. It would make them and the pups happy

Me and my mom were looking for a mini poodle when we got there the first thing I saw was the puppy’s they look cute all though it was 4,000! It was worth it great service and clean cages and cute shop would recommend coming here again and get her brother.😁5/5

I went in to spend some time looking at pets because I love animals. Saw this dog of a mixed breed so sad and he needs a loving home. I could tell he could of been recently separated from a home. I hope he was adopted or if not I hope this review reaches someone and can see if they would love to give him a permanent home. Black haired dog. Very loving too!

We inquired about a dog there was quoted a price via the website when we get there they increase the price by $5000. When questioned and showed proof of their response all they could say is I’m sorry. Do not trust this company. They have cute dogs, but will change the rates to make it convenient for them and blame it on their website .

I was gifted a rabbit from here by my best friend and he is literally the sweetest boy. He was well taken care of, outgoing, and best of all, POTTY TRAINED. We have had him since November and not one mess around the house, he goes into his cage at 7 every night and hops around like one of the kids. Oh and his best friend is a pigeon here at my house, they hangout and sleep in a little ball sometimes.. We really lucked with him. We are first time rabbit owners and are thankful for pet land for providing a little knowledge and instructions for the first couple weeks.. we usually go there for bird supplies but will continue to come here for all pet needs and later fur babies.

Terrible business. All Petlands get their puppies from cruel puppy mills. Most are ill, poorly nourished, and mother dogs just thrown away when she can no longer have litters. Don't buy a puppy here!!

Visited the store on 9.6.23 with my husband with intent to purchase a puppy and new fish for our kids. We were in the store for a total of 10 minutes. We walked past at least 6 employees and no one greeted us nor asked if we needed any help. Puppies were not labeled with any type of information (breed, d.o.b, gender,etc.). There's no fish, except Betas. Will not return nor do I recommend.

As a pet store it’s good. Have a good select of products and inventory. The only thing that takes away from being a 5 star review is the puppies. They have the puppies in small boxes displayed like a zoo attraction and then wanna charge $5,000+ for each puppy. Not sure where they get the puppies from but after reading some of the negative reviews they say that they get the puppies from puppy mills and that’s something I just can’t support

This is a cute pet shop and the staff is super friendly. Although the store is rather small, the animals have large and clean cages, unlike other stores. It's a small business, so they have a smaller selection of animals to choose from. I found it nice that we were allowed to handle some of the animals. My daughter and I played with the ferrets!

Bought a beautiful parakeet (budgie) from this location. Come to find out it has genetic cataracts..didn’t find out until a month later. Avoid purchasing birds, even all animals from stores like these. Breeders are much better. Lesson learned.

We got a precious, healthy Cavalier King Charles from here. The service was excellent, the place was clean and well-organized. The puppy is healthy and just about perfect!!! I highly recommend this business.

I booked an appointment online to see this beautiful puppy, when I arrived they asked us our age which are 20 and 19. We were looking at the dog we wanted until this lady who I think is a manager absolutely rudely comes out of no where and tells us that “appointments are only for adoption” in a rude tone, I responded “well if i want to adopt a dog i’m gonna play with it first to make sure” and she then says we have to be 21. She obviously assumed we were some kids waisting time or looking for trouble. Her attitude made me not even want to be in the store anymore. No where on there website it says we have to be 21 to schedule a visit with a pup, there was no reason for her attitude and for her to assume we either A, didn’t have money, Or B are some kids. I would NOT recommend this place. Better prices and service at plenty of other places

The puppies are cute too watch but pretty expensive adoption fee. But if your really wanting a dog and can spend $3,500 to get it they definitely have cute ones. I got my son a bird instead

Didn't care too much for this place for Herp needs. It was filled with over priced puppies that were clearly vying for the chance to be a fleeting whim pet. The store was crowded with young disinterested staff that weren't very knowledgeable and could only tell me that "I think there's some stuff in one of the isles just go look for it" and "wow I didn't even know we had stuff like that." If you would like to be surrounded with customers who aren't mindful of their children and staff that do not take their job serious then do yourself a favor and go here to search out your own pet supplies.

Been looking for a dog. I read some of the negative reviews and wasn’t going to look but there were enough good reviews my wife and I decided to take a look. We first went to the Shivano store and found the people very helpful and nice. They didn’t have what we were looking for and the girl took the time to pull up the pets at Leon Valley and explained each dog and suggested we go there before heading out of town. The Leon Valley people were all super nice and took the time to pitch each dog. We decided on one and the process was quick and painless. Quality puppies at a pet store are not cheap but they were inline with the independent breeders. We are so happy we stopped.

For many years we bought our petfood at Petsmart, however we recently switched to more specialized food that isn't carried in the bigger stores. We shopped several locations and have decided to make Petland our new go-to. VERY friendly and helpful people, reasonable prices, we absolutely recommend it.

This place deserves zero stars. We sent multiple text messages and tried calling for days. They have multiple numbers for the same dog, which are not registered to "Petland". That's a red flag. NO response whatsoever from these rude people for DAYS. They flat out ignored us! Then days later they message and say they adopted her but that they have other dogs available. Basically a Bait and Switch scam, which is illegal. We wanted that specific dog, not some other dog. Now they won't get any money from us ever after this. I read all the bad reviews about this place. I should have listened to them and not gotten my hopes up. I also saw a lot of dogs that were obvious mixed breeds being sold as purebreds. That's illegal. Not a company worth anyone's time or money.

The dogs look healthy and clean. You won't get a price till u go in and look. Be prepared to pay thousands, they do have pmt plan. Employee's are nice and friendly and helpful.

I got my little puppy Barry from here, very healthy little guy. He's my best friend! Although he wasn't cheap he was most definitely worth it!
