Took my baby to Ivy at Petco Groomers from a recommendation from my friend. And I was blown away! I have been to several groomers for my poms and none have met the requests for the cut. All have completely ruined my Pom’s hair or didn’t listen. And I was scared to ever go again. When my friend recommended Petco I was a little taken back. But I saw her Pom’s haircut and was in awe! Making the appointment is so easy. You can do it off your app. And the first cut is 20% off if you join! As soon as we walked in the staff was super friendly and greeted us. Everyone made us feel welcomed and explained everything. Ivy was super bubbly and made me feel comfortable leaving my baby there! I can say I will never go elsewhere for grooming for any of my furbabies again!!! Very happy customer over here!!!

I paid for extra services but I feel I didn’t receive the basics. When I picked her up she was dirty. Didn’t look like she had a bath. When I bathe her her fur feels soft and it looks clean . That was not the case when I picked her up her fur looked flackey her face had stuff in it and her ears were filthy. I’m pretty sure she wasn’t bathed or anything else. Only thing done was her nails were clipped and she was sprayed with cologne. I will never go back there. I feel so scammed . I took pictures of the stuff I cleaned out of her ears when we got home. Anyway I expected better.

Update review after my second visitI am so upset. Alexis did a great job the first time. I was so happy. But this second time Alexis did not check me out like before, another young lady did. My she went on to tell me that my puppy jumped out of her kennel? How high was she?? Because she was not her self when she came home? Did you drug her? She was sleepy all day and did not come near me which is very rare? And this time around you only clipped her front nails and way too short she has white powder in her nails to stop the bleeding!!!i will never ho back.Ihighly recommend this Petco location for your grooming needs. Alexis my puppy's groomer handled my puppy with care, (this was her first visit to Petco) Alexis took her time to explain how my puppy's first visit went, in detail and with a smiling face. Alexis did an amazing job with my puppy! this is the cleanest she has ever been Alexis also did an amazing job with my puppy's nails. Thank you Alexis!! you will forever be my puppy's groomer.

Everyone is always friendly and helpful. And I feel like they genuinely care about my pets. My pets are always happy when they see their groomer. I feel like that shows how caring the groomer is to our pets

I have mixed feelings about my recent experience. I have 2 dogs. On one hand I was extremely satisfied with 1 of my dogs. On the other hand, the other dog not so much. I was told she was extremely anxious so they were unable to perform a haircut which is understandable so I was not charged. BUT and here is the big BUT I was charged an additional $30.00 deshedding brushing that I believe was not performed. The reason I saw this is because in comparison to my other dog she was still shedding badly. I was told via phone that they tried to complete her services however I don’t feel like they did. I had to brush her out myself when I got home, pet the photos she still had tons of hair on her. I may call to speak to a manager to discuss the situation.

The person who bathed my boxer was awesome! She was a standin for the originally scheduled staff member who "do not have time" to service us. I feel like I was overcharged as the same Express Service recommended for boxers is half off at PetSmart. My dog was happy and behaved well for the person who took care of us.

Groomer was nice and at first glance my dog looked great. When we got home I noticed his walk and he wouldn't sit. I did an inspection and he was bleeding on his neck, above his leg, and his butt. I was highly upset. I called Petco several times with no answer to rectify what happened. This was our first time at this location and our last. I will be taking him back to our usual Petco for grooming moving forward. Please inspect your pet fully before leaving this location.

Honestly had an amazing experience with their grooming service. I was in a huge bind and the lovely lady in the front was able to give my pup a wash right before they closed. 10/10 smelling like usda prime pumpkin spice good boy.

I will definitely be back! It was my first time ever and I brought my Siberian Husky and they did an excellent job! Very satisfied since the last place I had gone didn't really impress me with the end result. My big pup looked beautiful at the end this time!

This place is a fraud. Last time we brought our dogs I specifically called to have them both scheduled and they told me to bring both in. When I arrived they looked at me in shock saying that only one was scheduled. On top of that, my dog wasn't ready until the store was already about to close and three people waited in line with me. When they saw me standing there as the last waiting one, they got my dog out and brushed her on the table, spritzedher and gave her back. Her coat was greasy and the paw pads uncut, the dog was so obviously not groomed and other than a brushing and nail clipping nothing was done but I still paid full price. This time I again made an appointment for both dogs, drove there yesterday during a winter storm to find a closed store. I understand that the safety of the employees comes first but after sending me 10.000 texts and emails to remind me of the appointment, they could have sent a notice of closure as well. Phones were not being answered and the website had no notice either. So I made a trip out in the storm and put myself and my dogs at risk just to stand in front of closed doors. Most terrible service I ever received and will definitely not visit again.

Grooming was just ok. It took too long for poodle to be groomed she was there when opened and the second pet in and it took all day. After that long time she was not dried properly. Her ears and tail, they should have been dried out straight but were not.

This kid William straight up lied to me over the phone. When I called 10 minutes before close to ask how much it would cost to groom a cat he just told me "Uhhhh, yeah, they don't do that here..." I just laughed and hung up. It's literally called Petco Grooming and the list of services are posted right here on the Google listing, you lazy sloth. If there were prices posted I wouldn't have even called. Lazy employees just cost you some business lol!

SADLY It’s not what it use to be. I took my beagle today and he didn’t even smell nice. I got home and had to brush him. Lots of stray hair. And it was 79+10 tip. 😕

Pretty disappointed with today’s grooming. I normally take my great pyr to the Petco at Northstar but today he came to this location. I don’t think it was necessarily the stylists fault, but it was clear that she was stressed with no help. She was short and a bit rude. I got the deluxe shedding package with bath, and he came out nice and clean but his coat was coarse, and fur was flying everywhere. When I got home there was just so much hair and he had some visible clumps so I brushed his hair out and there were many sections that had tangles and I took out a ton of hair and slicked it down in about 15 mins. So perhaps she didn’t get to the the “extra 15 mins” of brushing I paid $40 for. When I picked him up her stress was very visible and she was overwhelmed, and again not very pleasant. This was a very expensive $100 bath. I won’t go to this location again. The other petco always has his coat soft, completely de tangled and smooth.

Have a large dog.He gets excited when see other dogs want play with them . He is a true gentle ESA dog. But I am 70 years old and have trouble handling him when he is excited. The groomers were happy to help me. And Boo (my dog) had not been able to groomer due to pandemic his nail were long and he was uncomfortable. They took him right away . Did a great job , Thank you so much for helping Boo and I out. 💞💞

The girl Rain was very nice. The cut is uneven, and there's a lot of nicks in the fur where fur is missing. There is even a scar on my dog's nose that was not there before.

Petco.on Bandera was great !! I use to take my baby to get grommed on 410 and overweight manager was so unprofessional.and rude. But of course she's a manager and it probably won't matter she has a severe power Trip.
