I came to the store with my husband to buy dog food and other necessities for our dogs. Everything was fine while an employee was helping us with our dog food order. We browsed around the store while we waited for our order. When it came to check out another employee stepped in to help us and stated that the original employee helping us went to the back. Didn’t think anything of it until it came time to cashing out in which the original employee stepped in. He told us our total and we gave home cash for it. My husband (a black man) went to grab our order and start loading the car while I was finishing checking out and during this time the employee told us to hold on a minute. Employee then proceeded to lock the doors while we were inside and stated we had to wait for his manager to show up(Jordan). We asked employee if everything was alright and he couldn’t answer us or even look at us just stated we had to wait for his manager. We overheard him on the phone asking his manager if he was close by. When he got off the phone he stated we could go. I have never felt so discriminated against and humiliated as other customers were looking at the whole interaction. This was an act of racism as my BLACK husband tried to understand what was going on. Couldn’t have been because we payed cash we have done that in the past before. We have been loyal customers for 3 years and have NEVER experienced this before. If you are a person a color this place will treat you awfully!!!!

Just bought a pink toe Tarantula and he was only $15 and I had him for about 2 or 3 weeks and he is doing pretty good except he's a little shy but in a few minutes he starts crawling all over you but he's a really good pet I love him and the guy that sold him to me was really friendly and hope to do busy with yall again! ❤️

Sometimes good prices. They have a lot of good inventory but I was a little sad about their activia food for dogs. I was supposed to get one free bag with every nine purchases or something like that but that never happened and then they said that I had three bags less than I did because they switch systems and they never gave me my free bag. So it was just a whole mess with that and it never got updated. So needless to say, I ended up switching dog foods either way, but everything else is pretty good. Usually friendly service. Other than not kidding the amount fixed in their system. Everything else is usually good at that store

I just needed a couple big plastic bags to move my fish to a new residence and Pet Barn, with no hesitation, offered me what I needed for free. The Petco nearby not only told me that they had the bags, but they couldn't give/sell them to me (I offered to buy them first). This just goes to show we should support smaller/local businesses and avoid big corporate chains. Thanks again Pet Barn for helping out in a time of need!

Best place to get great dog food for your best four legged friend.... the in house mix in service us fantastic.. they were able to find my mix even while their system was down I highly recommend pet barn for all you pet needs

It’s a nice place, but the lady was kind of rude and dismissive when I asked if they had small bags of dog food. We recently gave a home to a stray and so I’m unsure of his age or what kind of dog he is, and she acted like it was going to be a problem. Long story short I left with no dog food… overall not a bad place.

We brought our pet rat with us, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Most were quite excited about our little girl, so we enjoyed some light conversation with the clerk who rang us out. While looking through the aisles, we were asked if we needed help, and when we declined, were respectfully given freedom to peruse without constant questions. Overall, a fantastic experience and easily my favorite place to shop.

Was my first time and I will be back. When I walked in Brianna greeted me and asked if I had any questions and as I have not had a puppy in years.Brianna help me get everything I needed and was very helpful showing me all the different things in the store and all the options they offer I like how you can customize your own food and treats. I will be back for more.

Great store, we love their baked treats and frozen section. Try the price match for food, I mean it really does save money. We usually don't shop anywhere else for our dog's needs, unless we want something super fancy.

Staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. This place also has a great deal on their brand of dog food. Buy two bags get the third free plus every seventh bag is also free. Can't beat it for a good quality dog food.

Activa is sold here and I tell you it's been the best dog food I've ever given my dog. I bought some other expensive brand and she was itching all the time. I switched brands and added protein (she's a pup), hip and joint, and skin and coat supplements and I'm not even kidding it's worked wonders. Aside from that they have a lot of great choices for your pet. Can be pricey but so worth it.

Their store brand dog food with their add ons is the best!!We have 2 chihuahuas, Yorkie and a German shepherd and we got them their recommended dog food for our dogs and let me tell you I've never seen them clean a bowl that fast. Their supplements are usually tailored for specific needs. All I can say is that in a matter of a couple of weeks their coats have gotten way better. Highly recommend this place.

I must have hit them on a bad day. The staff did not greet me as I entered. There was no one else in the store. I had to go ask for assistance and then it seemed as though I bothered them. The service was poor, the aquariums were dirty and my perception is the staff did not know what they were talking about. Perhaps the manager was off this day...

The services pretty good I purchased a bag of dog food.I got home open it up it was a bunch of mold in it took it back the next day they verified it and just gave me a new bag no problem, even apologized for the inconvenience. Couldn’t really ask for better service

Very small place, had a lot of food and treats for dogs and cats but not a lot of brand varieties. They also sell large amounts of things so I guess it's a good place to get like a huge bag of dry dog food. I was able to find a small dog bed for pretty cheap and a cat litter pan too. So good place if you want a quick visit!

I am a loyal customer, have been shopping here for years, they always have the best customer service but lately every time I go there the blonde girl there always seems to have an attitude. I also find it very unprofessional that she brings 2 little girls with her that interrupted me when I was trying to get help
