Finding a doggy daycare that would be able to accommodate the needs of our Belgian Malinois and be able to manage and handle him was challenging, but we were so thankful to find Pawderosa! Lenny worked with Baelyn on his behavior in daycare settings and not only has it improved his behavior at Pawderosa but has translated into our everyday lives at home and when we take him out. While any training by Baelyn will be worth it, if you feel like your dog needs help with some big behavioral reactions, definitely work with her at Pawderosa!

We struggle with bringing them here- because they NEVER WANT TO LEAVE! We’ve been consistently boarding our dogs with pawserosa ranch for the last 3 years- and every time it’s been the easiest choice to make. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They make sure your pups have a blast but are responsible with the elements in play. We have a pit bull who will run herself into the ground playing, so it’s nice that there will be a staff member to advocate for their well being while still making sure they have fun. There was also the respiratory illness for dogs floating around dog parks last year that made us nervous- but they’re so proactive and careful to protect your pup we felt really safe and comfortable with boarding them.The facility is clean and spacious and our dogs have a blast. The little report cards they send home are always my favorite. I 100% recommend them for all of your daycare and boarding needs!

If I could give Pawderosa and trainer Baelyn 10 stars I would.Baelyn and Pawderosa were a game and life changer for us. We adopted a 2.5 yr old Saint Bernard from rescue who began lunging at our lovable but hyper female Great Dane. We were told by a behaviorist that it would most likely NOT get better. I was at a total loss. I was referred to Baelyn and she assessed them and immediately told us that the adopted Saint was only scared and she saw no aggression and then came up with a training plan for all of us. Whew!We took both dogs in for training/daycare for several weeks where she helped the Great Dane learn some much needed boundaries and helped the Saint learn manners and confidence. Baelyn had the two dogs interacting day one. We are now a happy family and I couldn’t be more relieved!!!Before Baelyn and Pawderosa I was heartbroken thinking we’d have to rehome our new rescue but they saved the day! Will recommend all my friends to check out training at Pawderosa!

My dad had spinal surgery so we needed his un-trained 2 year old German Shepard OUT of the house for his safety when he came back from the hospital. The dog has serious behavioral issues and could only be boarded for 2 days but Hannah (the manager) bent over backwards to accommodate us and even referred us to another company that’s better suited to deal with the dog’s issues. If your dog is normal I’m sure he will have a great time at this facility.

I love bringing my dogs here. They always seem to be happy when we pick them up and worn out (in a good way) when we get home. They have so many events and parties here and the cutest pics from those events of our babies. They also give report cards which I love. Staff is super friendly. Only downside is they don’t do daycare on the weekends, but would definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Pawderosa Ranch. My dog went to daycare at Pawderosa for about a year before we moved to Austin and he LOVED it! He would always get so excited when we turned the corner on Clydeville Road. The staff are incredibly passionate about dogs and are very thoughtful and professional. They were very knowledgable about how to support my pup through his various challenges (broken leg, crate training & fear of big fluffy dogs) and I appreciated the daily report cards. When it was my first time leaving my fur baby overnight for a trip they patiently answered all of my check in calls and emailed me pictures. The parties they throw for the dogs every month are so fun and I will treasure the pictures forever. The prices are fair for the value and the package deal helps. The staff always made me feel heard and supported and even more important my dog was always happy and cared for.

The staff at Pawderosa Ranch (Airport) is very friendly. I believe my girls (dogs) think their one of the family, which they are for sure. Everything from baths, daycare and of course the PAWTY's are exceptional. This review is long overdue my dog LOVES going to Pawderosa Ranch. My dog has been coming here for both daycare, boarding, and the occasional groom for 3 years now. The benefits of Pawderosa are SO worth the extra mile and extra penny. We do not live in the area and we pass about 4 other doggy daycares on our almost daily drive to Pawderosa. Through consistency with attending their daycare program my dog has learned leash manners, basic obedience, and also has become more confident with interacting with other dogs. The staff is exceptional to say the least. I have been highly satisfied with all my interactions with the staff members both in person, over the phone and via email. It is extremely rare that I ever encounter a problem that needs rectification but when I do remediation occurs in a timely matter. Their slogan is ‘we love your dog’ . I can attest from experience that all staff members truly will love your dog as their own. My dog is all that I have. It is just him and I. It is an incredible joy to have peace of mind both at work and when I’m on vacation that my dog is well taken care of. So thankful for Pawderosa and all they do! Can’t not recommend this place more!

Lance did a wonderful job when he groomed my pup whose hair was 6 weeks past due. She suffers from allergies, as I do. We are both trying to detox from living in SW Louisiana. Lance used the special shampoo that her vet prescribed followed by a Burt’s Bees spray on anti itch concoction.She was so relieved to have that hair off.Thank you staff for being so kind, getting her records from SW Louisiana. They supplied a nice experience for my dog. I asked for a tour of their doggy daycare and boarding facility. They gladly did so. All of the dogs seemed to be happy and well cared for.

I don’t even have words right now. I’m crying because Pawderosa is so absolutely amazing. I am one of their first customers that started going to their airport location. I knew they were different when I told them 11 years ago that I had adopted a male, fixed pitbull puppy (Roscoe) and the owner said she didn’t discriminate based on breed. She said bring him by and let’s see if he has the right temperament for group day care. He passed with flying colors!! No other place would even give him a chance. So over the last decade, we would take Roscoe and two of our other fur babies for daycare and boarding. They loved going to Pawderosa. As soon as we turned the corner off of Nakoma they would whimper with excitement!! I always knew they were loved and well taken care of. I regretfully lost my baby boy to liver disease about a month ago. I called Pawderosa to let them know and they were so kind as I explained my loss. I felt they truly cared and were also sad to hear that he had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Fast forward to today..I opened up a card from them that thanked me for sharing Roscoe with them and they gave me a picture ornament that I will cherish forever. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! 😘

We’ve been taking our cane corso Maximus here for a couple of months now. We only use their services for boarding—either when we go for one day or on two-three weeks trips. It’s a fantastic experience & the staff are phenomenal (always helpful, friendly & caring). The location is super convenient & is always clean & tidy. They may not answer ur call (their busy I understand), but they will immediately call back & confirm. If they have questions they also call right away! I luv the option to make sure he is given a bath (we’ve done this a few times) or his nails can be clipped b4 we pick him up. And the cost for the extra services r super reasonable! It’s also nice getting Bark Mail while we r on vacation & c’ing him in pics happy & having a good time. The report cards @ the end of his visits r also super cute & a great touch! Fantastic business & definitely have no plans of taking our fur baby anywhere else!

We've used Pawderosa a number of times for boarding our dog, Roland, and have had great experiences every time. We have dealt with dog-reactivity with him in the past (especially in a previous daycare situation), but we told them this the first time we took him and they have been great about keeping him in small groups where he can feel safe and have a great time.

So just a follow up. We now have three dogs. Two cats. Two chickens. So unfortunately Pawderosa isn’t quite necessary anymore. But I will tell you if you’re single or whatever and only have one dog…take them here! The interaction they get from both dog and human is great. I remember picking up my Betty every evening and she would fall asleep on the car ride and was passed out by the time we got home! Every morning she would be so excited because she knew where she was going. These guys are actual animal lovers and it’s obvious with the updates they give wether boarding or just daycare! Miss you Pawderosa!I took my dog in for a couple daycare visits before I boarded her for a week. Staff knew me and my dog by name the second visit. Gave very descriptive updates on how she did throughout the day. Pricing was very reasonable for daycare and boarding. While she was boarded they even took videos on their phones and showed them to me. Honest to goodness dog lovers working there. I will keep taking my puppy there for daycare and boarding.

This place has been a life changer for us. My dog was scared of EVERYTHING including other dogs. I was worried about her social skills, she has been rejected from many other daycare services. Pawderosa worked hands on with her and gradually introduced her to new things at a pace she felt comfortable with. After a few months of 1 daycare day a week, she is a different dog. Her manners, barking, and social skills have all improved drastically. We can now go to the park and even dog friendly restaurants without worrying about her behavior. I also highly recommend their new Frontier Club program. It is a little more expensive but incredibly worth it. I love getting her report cards when I pick her up. Both my dogs love this place!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Pawderosa Ranch Airport Location. When my dog first started going she was a little skiddish so they started her out with the small dogs and eased her into the big dog pens. All the staff are professional and provide me with excellent customer service. They all know my dog by name and greet her when I drop her off. The dog washing and nail service are also wonderful and affordable. She plays all day, comes home tuckered out and smelling great. The staff always let me know how her day went. When I ask if she had friends that day and they are able to answer, so I know they watch the dogs. I would 100% recommend Pawderosa Ranch Airport location to anyone looking for daycare, boarding, and grooming.

Pawderosa is an amazing place for every pup! Our family dog was a little shy at first, but she is now a little socialite and she is so excited to go to daycare. We chose Pawderosa over others because of the level of human interaction given to the dogs regularly. Our Lulu needs that, and it is amazing how much more comfortable she is around strangers when she used to be more guarded. We have Pawderosa to thank for helping us improve Lulu's social skills, and we will continue to bring her here and recommend the ranch to others.

I travel so much for work and am so thankful to have found the best dog boarding & daycare kennel in the San Antonio area. My precious pup is loving and curious about everything around her and she loves, loves, loves to stay at the Pawderosa Ranch for a visit. The staff is professional, attentive and I NEVER have to worry about her while I'm on the road. The facility is always clean and organized. *** I am most thankful for the Dog Wash service which is convenient and makes my life just that much easier...*** This is a must see, must use daycare for your four legged family member when you need to be away for awhile. We boarded our border collie at Pawderosa Ranch (Airport location) over Easter weekend, and were very surprised to find the dog we were given back. I should of known better when they said they'd be watching the dogs at all times because when I checked the cameras that are on the website no one was ever standing in the yards with the dogs. My dog came home to having terrible diarrhea, and has continued to have it from the exact day he was picked up (now going on 2 weeks). Not to mention, we portioned his food out exactly for his stay and with instructions, and received over 3 feedings worth back when we picked him up. Boarding our dog for 3 days, spending $126.00 I would have expected better. Especially now that the total price of their negligence is accumulating in vet bills and medicines. We even have to cut off the beautiful hair on his behind quarters because how loose his stool was and how little control he's had. The last two weeks have been a nightmare getting him to eat, keeping him contained from carpet, rushing him to vet appointments, and making sure he doesn't dehydrate. I did make a phone call to them, and the best response they had for me was 'Well we haven't had any other complaints", which is baffling. It only takes one dog being sick to say there is a problem, rather than waiting for a great deal to fall ill before action is taken. I wish I'd of spent all this money on taking him with us for those 3 days, than have him suffer through all this with no answers or responsibly taken by them. I will not ever take my dog back to Pawderosa, and feel I have a responsibility to let others know they should not either.

Zeke LOVES this place. I recently started taking him for the Frontier Club. While the frontier club is a bit more expensive than regular daycare, it is absolutely worth it. I hadn't taken Zeke in social, group settings for a couple of years due to being super busy and moving, so he was lacking a bit on social skills (non-aggressive though), and was super awkward around other dogs. As a result, other dogs often wouldn't like him. I felt really bad for him, as it was clear he really wanted to socialize with other dogs. I am SO glad I found pawderosa ranch. The difference just a few visits have made in his interactions with other dogs is AMAZING. He now is able to play easily with other dogs, and they actually like him! He seems less self-conscious and awkward as well. He is SOOO happy when I take him, and he absolutely loves the staff. He cries and whines when he sees them out of pure happiness and cries when he leaves.

Pawderosa Ranch is an awesome Doggie day care, Dani and all the staff there are awesome!! When I pick up my dog at the end of the day, she is exhausted and sleeps all evening and night. I love that you can see your dog on their cams and that you can be assured that your dog is in great hands.

This is the only place i trust to board or daycare my dog! he always has a great time. he comes home happy, but tired, because hes been playing so much! which to me, is a good thing. :) for a high energy dog, there's no other boarding place ive been to or heard of that gives your dog as much opportunity to get their energy out. It really seems like the staff enjoys their job and cares about the wellbeing of the dogs in their care, and i definitely cannot say the same for other boarding places we've been to. we got the trailblazer package, and my favorite thing is that it included pawderosa sending us an update & emailing photographs of our dog playing at the ranch. my whole family loved that, it gave us peace of mind to see him having fun. the prices are very fair for what they do here. And I dont think they have breed restrictions, which is awesome. Sometimes it does take a few calls to reach someone at the location, but i don't blame them because theyre busy taking care of our dogs! I just keep calling or leave a message and i get ahold of them pretty quickly. And in the three times my dog has stayed, there has been only one incident where i had anything negative to say at all. Once, hes come home smelling bad, BUT they offered a free bath when i brought up the issue, so the problem was immediately rectified. Nobody is perfect, and they were very quick to fix it, and for free, which is all i can ask for! Still 5 stars and the best boarding place in SA, because my dog loves it here, and thats what matters most. :)

We don't feel guilty about traveling longer than a few days at a time because our Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog, Kodiak just loves the Pawderosa Ranch. It is clear he does because we watched him on the 'Wag Cam' (all the way from Europe) and could see his tail wagging while wandering around. We like that he is not confined to a kennel and interacts with other dogs (well mostly by sniffing but at least he is not in a crate where he can barely turn around).The Pawderosa costs 50% less than boarding with local area vets and considerably less than similar facilities in the area. They had no problem administering his meds one time when we had an out of town emergency which was a huge relief. We have been boarding Kodi at the Pawderosa off/on for 8 years and while I wish he could travel with us and I miss him like crazy- I am OK boarding him. The Pawderosa and the well trained staff who work there has been a huge relief for us. I highly recommend boarding your dog here - especially if you have a mid-size or large breed dog who enjoys the outdoors.
