First time coming here and I totally recommend. I used the self-serve station and it was super easy to shower my dog. He weighs 92lbs and he fits comfortably in the tubs. One of my favorite things was the soap hose. I was able to evenly lather my huge dogs coat with out taking forever. The downtown self serve does close at 6pm so check the hours. I mistakenly showed up at 6pm since on google it shows the hours but it’s for the actual daycare at 8pm not the wash station. Other than that definitely recommend!

We used to go to Petco for grooming appointment, was super unhappy with the trims our last few visits. SO HAPPY that we went with Lucy’s for my malamute/husky mix. They got a tight silhouette trim on her! Misha our groomer obviously took her time and cared for our pup. From booking to drop off and pick up they were a 5 star customer service experience. Lovely inside, clean facility and we will be back soon! Thank you to the downtown locations team! :)

The staff is very attentive and sweet to the dogs.The self bath and grooming feature here is top notch. Low price, quality equipment and products. Much better than doing it home the hard way.I found this poor stray and he was filthy. The girls kept him calm while he had his claws trimmed and the bath was a difference maker. Don’t let his grumpy face fool you. He is a very happy…lavender smelling doggo with a shiny and clean coat that no longer itches.

Our pup Curtis absolutely loved Lucy’s. Every time he went, he came home exhausted and would usually spend the whole next day sleeping off yesterday’s fun.The staff was extremely friendly, always communicated well when we did boarding, and we loved the option to look at the webcams. The attendants always had great control of the rooms and let the dogs get all their energy out.Highly recommend Lucy’s if your dog needs some extra play like ours does. We’re sad to leave

Amazing self serve dog wash. We walked in and were able to get a tub right away. They have shampoo, conditioner, dryers, ear wash, brushes, cologne, treats and aprons for staying dry. We added on the nail trim which was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

DO NOT EVER BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE.I chose Lucy's because they had good reviews. At first, the staff seemed friendly. Do not fall for it.First, there is no option but to check the box for allowing your dog to do interactive daycare. I called and asked, but they only allow a separate note to be made, not in the pet profile, if your dog doesn't get along with other dogs. Which means that you are legally responsible for THEM putting your dog in interactive daycare even if you warned them several ways that your dog is reactive and confirmed it verbally at check in.Second, and this is so irresponsible and dangerous it boggles the mind and boils the blood, one of the employees here put my reactive dog into the wrong run. Only by a miracle was the dog that should have been in the run not in there. HOWEVER,Third - in that run was the other dog's food, which my dog could not have but did. She is a rescue who had parvo as a puppy and has a sensitive stomach, which the people there were also warned about. She had bloody diarrhea for over half her stay (four days). I was in another state and could not come back. I had to call before they even checked her gum color.Fourth, despite health problems, anxiety, and overall ineptitude, never once was I offered any compensation. Not a vet visit they would cover (not even a vet visit I could cover), not even a single day discount for the day they RISKED BOTH MY AND ANOTHER DOG'S LIVES by letting my dog into the wrong run. I had to insist I wasn't paying for that day at checkout.I have boarded my dog many times at other places - my particular favorite being the Sit Means Sit in college station- and never had any problems before.Do not, DO NOT, ever board your pet at Lucy's. This was at the downtown location, and I hope I save some poor soul's pet and mental well-being by leaving this review.GO ELSEWHERE.

1st time here & I will definitely go back. We only got our dogs nails clipped but it was such a short wait & the groomer was so friendly! I'm not sure how the daycare services are but for small things like nails, I would be able to recommend!

What else can I say, simply the best at what they do. From dog grooming, daycare, overnight boarding…they care about your pets and keep you updated with any issues throughout you pets stay. Paying a few bucks more for better care and all day playtime for my pet is well worth it. Send your dog for daycare and he will be passed out all afternoon/evening :) Keep up the great work!

First time taking my boy to Lucy’s and I couldn’t have been more impressed. He came out looking better than expected. You can tell they are professionals. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend them for grooming services to anyone looking to pamper their dogs.

Our dogs love it here! From a simple day at the daycare or boarding for several days they come back happy and we love watching them on the Webcams. Totally trust this location with our pups Blu and Kali. They go above and beyond my expectations for Petcare and I’m so glad we found them.

We stumbled upon Lucy's while we were in San Antonio on a little road trip. Our hotel was not as pet friendly as we initially thought, so we were looking for a place for our small dog to stay for the day while we went to the zoo and the caverns. They made sure to get a copy of her vaccination records from our vet before she was allowed to stay, which made me feel more secure about leaving her around other dogs. They spent a few minutes acclimating her before allowing her into the communal doggy play area, and called me right away to update me on how she was interacting with the other dogs. She was assigned her own "suite" for when she was not in the small doggy play area, and they took instructions on when and how much to feed her. They had webcams on their website where we were able to check on her throughout the day, a great comfort, since we've never left her anywhere before. They also gave her a little birthday party and sent us a video of it via email, since her birthday was the next day! Since it was her first day to stay, they only charged us $15, which was so well worth it. I'd have gladly paid full price ($28 I think). They even sent her home with a little report card detailing how well she ate and played during her stay, with a complimentary dog cookie attached. We were very impressed with the entire experience, and wish we had a Lucy's in our area!

My favorite thing is the live webcam footage, even if I don't have a dog staying there, it's comical just to watch that periodically throughout the day. The staff seem very friendly and do a great job keeping up with the maintenance.

I boarded my 7yr old goldendoodle for 5 nights 6 days and was a little wirried that she would get stressed (that is the poodle half!!). When I arrived to pick her up, She was excited, happy, and obviously well cares for! Her handler told me that she did great though preferred to hang out by herself in the play areas ( again, the poodle half!). I am very pleased with Lucy’s and recommend them to all doodle owners ;)

I love Lucy’s for my puppy! He loves interactive daycare and always comes home happy and satisfied. He had an accidental injury during one stay and the staff and management did everything in their power to make things right and to make Cinco feel cared for. They are amazing and caring and I feel good putting my trust in them.

It was my babygirl's first grooming experience and it went great! She's a goldendoodle but I opted for the shaved face and feet (for maintenance) then medium trim on the rest of the body. I was worried how'd she do but she was super happy when I dropped her off and picked up. I was surprised how easily she went with them as she's not used to being away from me at all! Just took my doodle for a full grooming service at Lucy’s for the first time. They offer great customer service and my dog got the best haircut and blow out she ever has. I have never been asked so many questions on my preferences at drop off. I got to meet her groomer prior to the service and she immediately evaluated my dog for matting while I was present and confirmed she passed - no shaving required! 🎉 I appreciate this, rather than getting a call later on. I have never used their boarding services but I highly recommend the spa!

We recently boarded our dogs for the very first time and I'm glad we did so with Lucy's. It was a great experience! I was initially nervous since I, nor our dogs, have been through this, but the staff was so welcoming and friendly. They genuinely care about each pup that comes through. I feel confident using them in the future and know my fur kids will be taken care of!
