An absolute haven for your pet’s needs. Initially went for their vet mobile service that comes on the weekends which was amazing, the vet and assistants were extremely patient and caring when handling the animals. The process was very organized and quick. I truly love this very convenient service especially for someone like me who can only do weekends due to work.As for Locke Hill Feed, Pet and Lawn Supply, I am absolutely coming back to shop for affordable pet supplies, especially when the staff have great customer service. 5 stars!

This location's staff seem well versed in quality of care when it comes to their products from the years of visiting their establishment. Their rabbits are adorable just like their other livestock such as baby chicks, reptiles and TMNT Master Splinters (rats). Very nice place.

This feed store has the most extensive and widest array of products that I have ever been too. Their supply of grain and seeds is unbelievable. I usually go to my local Tractor Supply to buy animal feed. But this is a great place to buy a wide variety and any amount of grain and/or seed that you want. It allows you to just get small amounts to see what works best for you and your animals. I decided to buy a little of everything to see which seeds my chickens would like and eat. The staff there is very helpful and knowledgeable. A lady helped me who had chickens herself and was able to give knowledgeable and helpful advice that was invaluable. High recommend going here if you have the need to buy any feed for your animals whether it's for chickens, dogs, cats or even for birds or wild birds.

Fast, friendly service and great prices. Stopped by just to look, and once I saw the prices I had to buy. I paid about 15% less than tractor supply and enjoyed what seemed like personal service. I'll be coming back!

They have always been polite. They carry out my order to my car. Very convenient; it’s helpful they are in the city so I don’t have to drive to tractor supply in Helotes or elsewhere for chicken feed.

I went inside and was surprised by the amount of choices they have for you to pick from, in my case k-9 food and snacks/treats. They have feeding food for all the different types of pets you could think of and farm animals too. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff that are quick on their feet.Thanks for the fast service.

This is such a great feed store and the employees are SO friendly and so helpful. They’re stocking animals now like birds and bunnies, snakes, and rats. Prices are great, location is so convenient. Always a fun experience!!

I am beyond devastated, I purchased 5 baby silkie chicks for my daughter on FridayThe following day one was deceased 😞My 10 year old daughter cut some lawns to be able to purchase them , the food and supplies for themShe herself contacted the store directly since I was at work and the store told her they couldn’t do anything about it -they were closed on her church dayShe has been crying 😭 due to the chick passingIt came Ill and very weakI’m left without words since they couldn’t honor their 30 day policy as the bottom of the receipt statedThanks

I hate to post this. But it’s that time of the year folks! Yes I am talking about buying the cute little chickies at lockehill. DO NOT BUY CHICKS FROM HERE!!! Unless you want many roosters. I have bought 5 chicks from this place with the promise that their hatchery is 99.999999999+% sure they are egg laying females and I have gotten not one but 3 roosters Yes you might say, it’s the hatchery’s faught. But I say why continue to buy from a hatchery that continues to lie. And yes lockehill management I welcome you to email or comment back since your managers only words to me were “all sales are final”

Tonight I had to make a purchase for a needle. My large breed dog had a hematoma on her ear that was getting larger by the day. I didn't know what size would be best, but knew 18-22gauge is the area I was thinking. I think Lexi helped me, I couldn't find my receipt to confirm. She got the needle displays out. We settled on the 20 gauge 1 inch because I didn't want too long of a needle and didn't want it to move around if my dogs head moved too much. We also asked Siri and Google, lol. Our choice worked beautifully!!!Thank you Locke Hill for over 20yrs of amazing customer service. Everyone here is always helpful and kind. Here's to many more!

My family and I have frequently shopped here for our family pet dog's needs. Very helpful , friendly and knowledgeable staff. We love that they sell everything for farmers and ranchers, besides suburban households. We have purchased many one of a kind lawn decor for all seasons. Great array of garden and docorative house flags and chimes. Not to mention the odds and ends , straw hats, locally made totes and cross body bags, stylish with that San Anto flair. Baby chicks. Kitten give aways. Or just drop in and kill an hour looking at everything. Plus they host MPC on weekends. ( Mobile Pet Clinic) .So don't miss out on this hidden treasure trove!

My hens and I are very happy with the chicken scratch. Will get laying feed and birdseed next time. Love how I can measure out exactly how much feed I want. I feel the prices are competitive if not better than TSC. The quality definitely seems better. Was greeted when I walked in (didn’t realize it was the bird who greeted me until it kept saying “hi” over and over). 🤣

Excellent business all around. Long time San Antonio landmark business. Staff is always very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They also have a low cost veterinarian clinic on most weekends that can take care of most of your let's general health and welfare needs at a deeply discounted price.. Two thumbs up for Locke Hill Feeds and seed and for the wonderful staff that work at the low cost per clinic on the weekends. Very very highly recommend.👍

Been coming here for years as a kid and now as an adult. Staff has always been super friendly and very helpful. Great selection in dog toys, and many other pet needs.We also purchase our dogs vaccines every year for parvo and distemper. A lot more affordable than it is going to the vet and paying an office visit. I know they have weekends were a vet is onsite. Haven’t used that service yet. But it’s great to know that it’s offered.Bring your dog with you. Pet friendly store!

Love coming here. I get my chicken scratch that I get to mix on my own and add extra goodness. Also get cat food and dog food here. Great quality food and love the variety of flavors I get to pick from them. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Ask a question don't hesitate. Helped me get my cat who decided to eat dog food back to eating cat food. Thank you!
