Love HEB! This location was giving samples of the brisket dip...oh yeah it tastes as good as it sounds! Found a new favorite! Busy busy busy store I like that because then you know the food is fresh! Parking lot is a bit challenging, just be alert and patient.

Although I've been asked multiple times about "finding everything ok?", the store is unresponsive to requests for items that are found at their other locations. One helpful employee asked me if I had tried Walmart. This HEB is convenient, but I might have to start shopping at a farther store.

I've been getting weekly curbside orders from this HEB for years, but I'm at my wits end with them. Curbside here used to be really good. There would be the occasional item missing or whatever but 9/10 times everything was fine and they were quick to refund. Lately, however, I don't think I've had a single curbside order over the past several weeks that has not been missing at least 1 item, or had items that expired that same day or that were already well past the expiration date. And on more than one occasion I've called to get a refund for the missing items, was told I would be refunded, yet the refund never came and then I have to call asking again. After getting another order today, once again missing a few items, and once again asking for a refund that has not been given, im done.

Worst quality produce I’ve ever seen, Im writing this review because I’ve spent atleast $20 on produce this week alone and ended up with blackberries that taste like literal poison, and these grapes that i bought just last night have mold growing on them. I used to work at heb and this is pathetic. The quality has gone down so much. The fruit is either hard as a rock or growing mold and unsafe to eat.

So much more spacious than a typical HEB store. Makes shopping even easier, especially during peak times. What is also nice, is the selection of non-grocery items. Staff has always been helpful and friendly, addressing any and all questions in a friendly and patient manner. Will be returning when we are in the area. Parking is not an issue as there is plenty of space to park.

Reasonable prices however need to do better in keeping parking lot clean and ready for business.Update:There parking lot has gotten better and the store has become more cleaner. I am surprised of the progress that has been made. Which is why I am increasing this HEB rating. Additionally, I noticed the associated cleaning the grocery isles and the manager engaged with the customers handing out buddy bucks to the kids. That makes all the difference when shopping.My only recommendation is that the produce department has to a better job in culling the produce and keeping the area clean and ready for business. There is fresh produce but about 25% of it is not fresh.

This is one of the worst HEBs I’ve been to. They always make me wait 15 or more minutes for grocery pick up. When I lived by Walmart I never waited so long. They also have packed my groceries in ways that’s make no sense like 12 packs of soda on frozen food, etc. I definitely recommend another store.

Craziest thing just happened to me. The cashier Nathaniel N was ringing my items out and asked for my ID since I had beer,after handing him my ID he told me I couldn’t purchase it because I was 27 years old. I said excuse me? He said I needed to be 30 years old or older in order to purchase alcohol or beer. I told him that’s weird I’ve purchased alcohol & beer here before and no cashier has ever told me that. And he literally said “welcome to Texas”. I even asked another cashier just to make sure if they randomly changed their age limit to purchase alcohol and she said no its 21. CRAZY. So if your purchasing beer with Nathaniel N watch out you have to be 30 and older lol.

Cashier Mia C and female bagger truly lack customer service. After greeting them, I was completely ignored. They continued with their conversation on how their night went. Unfortunately, their failure to acknowledge the customer did not only happen to me, but also the customer prior. Acknowledgement, small talk, goes a long way. I wish them the best of luck on figuring this out. HEB management please address this matter.

Store is generally well stocked and organized. Necessities are better priced at this location than at other locations in upscale areas of town.Seafood, wine, frozen foods, & bakery sections are all a bit limited at this store in comparison to stores on the north side of town.I assume the downsized sections as well as the lower price on basic items are choices my by corporate, based on the area the store is located in.Overall the store carries a decent selection of items, and good prices, but falls a short when your looking for some items.

It's a good H-E-B they got everything I need both for me and my partner BB I found a 50 pound bag of dog food for only $24.88 two weeks before I saw that they had something I've been wanting for a good minute and that was a REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CAKE ohhhh that's 1 of my favorite cakes js lol the staff are really respectful and friendly

This store has been a disappointment since they first opened the doors. There had been no consistency with what they offer. The rarely have enough people to staff the store and when they pack your groceries, well...thats a joke. Hope you like your raw meat with your cleaning products. The management are young kids who could care less.

I generally like HEB more than shopping at Walmart. However, since HEB is trying to catch up with the Joneses, lately it has not been fun to shop at the newly remodeled stores.I enjoyed HEB stores precisely because they are not " super stores ". I was able to navigate most HEB stores without wearing myself out physically, in the past. Since a few stores have expanded their produce sections, it takes an unreasonable amount of time to get through just that section of the store. I really don't need to shop for everything from a to z in one location. There is more enjoyment to shop a smaller store. I do appreciate the produce selection but don't want to feel like I just worked a full day by the time I am done with shopping. Usually I am exhausted when I get to the checkout. The self checkout at HEB is a nightmare. Every other item is causing the computer to say: " help is on the way". It's understandable that there has to be theft prevention but the customer does not need to be shut down for not placing items in the bags just the right way. There is always some ridiculous reason why the system shuts down and calls for assistance.The 3009 store has handheld scanners that make things much easier. It is allowing the customer to have everything rung up by the time they get to the checkout.I still would like to see the plain- old- grocery store make a comeback. Of course I have no complaints about pet supplies and lightbulbs being available but I will not try to purchase clothing or camping gear the same day as my groceries.HEB staff is by a long shot friendlier and better trained than any of its competitors. Thank you HEB employees 🙏 🙋‍♀️

This is a great location but honestly it always seems like I'm being followed around by workers when I shop here and the baggers never reply when you tell them thank you...very rude..this has happened the last 4 times I've shopped there so I do not believe it's a coincidence

The HEB in the Mcreles shopping plaza is bad. We have been given bad product in our curbside orders. To be specific rotten strawberries, bad apples, bad milk, and bad almond milk. Prepared meals have come out to be bad too. Specially the chicken and some pastas. Just these week my husband got food poisoning from eating their tamales. Very disappointed of the poor quality of their foods.

I would like to say that I am planning on cooking Barbacoa in a slow cooker for 8-10hrs here at home. I was advised to purchase beef cheeks to use as the beef meat. My 89 year old Mother suggested I call HEB Plus at McCreless Mall off S. New Braunfels st to speak to Meat Market Butchers, which I did. I spoke to Nicholas and Fernando both gentlemen giving me excellent superior advice! I was informed to purchase beef rump roast, which is more solid of a piece of meat less fat and more meat chunks. I want to thank HEB for having 2 excellent polite, kind, friendly professional Butchers! This is another reason why I prefer to shop only at HEB for all my groceries, toiletries etc. I've shopped at Walmart B4 but I have to say that HEB is my #1 store regardless of what my needs are. Thank you for having outstanding professional Butchers here! CGR

The females employees who were at the self checkout lanes are rude and disrespectful. It's not my fault your machines freeze and that you have scan an item then wait for it to clear. I did not know. I do not need to stuck up, rude, disrespectful, employee getting mad at me over a faulty machine that is at the establishment she is employed at. It not my fault that it kept alerting her and that the machine frozen. It's not my fault your machines are sensitive why do you tell your customers that the machinea are sensitive or have a sign instead of yelling, being rude, disrespectful, and degrading the customers. Then when you get reported and I come back to HEB a month give me no mean treating look like you wanted to fight me on because you mad you were reported. You give me rude and disrespectful service because of your faulty self checkout machines make a sign that your machines are sensitive or tell the customers but stop disrespecting, yelling and being rude it's not a the customers fault. Having Dignity and Respect is comon sense when working with people and anyone who can't possess those qualities needs to go like those employees.

Lousy the manager should be fired replaced done away with. I counted it when you have 13 people with baskets waiting in line at (5) different registers the manager doesn't have enough common sense to open up anymore Check Out Registers and it's always like this at this store.

On this night out of several times coming to this location and that I’m a frequently client they made me feel embarrassed and like a thief when I got to self check out the worker was just staring at me and the thing I had in my cart she make me feel that I was stealing the way she was talking to me when she asked for the receipt knowing well that I payed for everything because she was watching me and she was not even asking for the receipt to anyone just when I was going out she rushed to me I don’t know if she was thinking that because how I was dressed since I came out of work and I had my clothes dirty I felt more discrimination of her I also talked to the manager she didn’t do anything

Managers aren't training their employees correctly. I was their recently and they showed me to type in my card number without having the card. But when I come in again and ask they tell me to leave and cuss me out. Even when I have all the proof that my card was mine they still didn't allow me . But some how we are allowed to used the card online without any proof the card is ours. I wasn't asking for a hand out all I asked for was to be able to spend my money to feed my babies. When I do leave to go to take my baby to the dentist they told me they own the entire shopping center so Im not allowed to take my baby to get his teeth fixed and now my son is in pain crying. How can any decent establishment treat their customers this way it is unacceptable.
