I’ve waited over 30 minutes for my order that still isn’t ready. Waiting for this made me late for work. If you have any other option for groceries, take it. This HEB does not respect your time. I ordered curbside as a courtesy to the employees and patrons since I’m sick and don’t want to spread it, but apparently to them this means I have all the time in the world to wait for someone to pick up 5 simple every day items. As I’m done typing this, I STILL haven’t received it. If you value your time just don’t shop here.

A clean, organized and on-point H-E-B store. Came on a Saturday night at 10:30pm and it was still a great shopping experience. It was pretty busy for that time of the night too.

Thanks Nancy for helping me with what to decide as for healthier options in regards to choosing the right products with protein amounts. My goal is to lose weight and incorporate more protein in my diet. I almost made a purchase that would've done the opposite for me and Nancy stepped in and helped me out a lot. My favorite spot though I do miss the grocery shopping at 3am. Love that the same folks have worked there for years without looking burned out. There is a little homie who likes to remind me of the Pokemon sales and toys, thank you! I will get that Charizard someday! 😁

Love my HEB. From Florida and really enjoy this particular store when we visit. Staff all helpful in directing to products. Fair prices and had all our Thanksgiving needs.

As far as HEB's go, I think it's pretty good. They have ton of great brand choices and the meat dept. is awesome. They also have an indoor BBQ grill area with all the accoutrements. They don't have a lot of the HEB living decor. Their outdoor plant dept. is also pretty nice. Hope this helps!

I typically LOVE HEB ....in all my life I've always loved that I can count on HEB for that last minute item I need ... BUT .. .This year I was upset to see that you all removed the children's Valentine cards but left all the adults stuff out. I was not the only parent who had to go morning of and to find nothing. I saw Halloween items still out days after Halloween was over! Then I was told that they always remove Valentine's stuff the day before. Absolutely not! I remember years of seeing people scrambling to get those last minute cards in Valentine's morning. Some parents have to budget and wait for that paycheck and. Now unfortunately have to disappoint their kids. Now their child has to go to school feeling left out. Smh.

We asked our cashier if he had any baggers and Emily (the cashier next to us) over heard and she disregarded what I asked & seemed not to care. My daughter then asked for a manager (Mark) But he seemed not to care as well & was too busy talking to another manager. My daughter then brought it to Marks attention that my husband is disabled and he was bagging everything himself, he then Mark called over a kid by the name of Memo. memo didn’t even know what was going on and didn’t bother to help my husband bag our groceries. Memo had left & never came back to help. We’re gonna continue to put bad reviews because it’s EVERYTIME we go grocery shopping. They never have any baggers and sometimes they’ll even forget a few of our items.

Always a stop when in town, lots of great choices and usually good to great prices. Highly recommend if out of town and looking for stocking up for grilling or loading a air bnb when your from out of town.

HEB is hands-down the best grocery store chain in the USA. They are locally based, locally focused, and have always been a staple for my family. They have issues sometimes keeping shelves stocked on certain items but they are getting better on that front. And any time there is a calamity they are literally the "first" responder helping their community put the pieces back together.

This HEB is the worst. It's frustrating because they are constantly out of stock on grocery essentials, their excuses are always "we haven't gotten a truck" or "we haven't finished putting stock out", "what you see out there is all we have" (what you see where!!??👀👀 You don't have anything!!) If you're not going to have merchandise ready in time for when the store opens, then why open at all!?? Or get more help, this is a Plus store, it's bigger, you should have enough employees for the amount of merchandise you're going to sell for the amount of crowds you're going to get. I tried to see if they could cut a cabbage head in half for my elderly mother who won't use all of it, (they've done it before for me and several other customers and including other stores do this)I asked a couple of produce employees if they could cut it in half and AGAIN with the excuses, "they couldn't cut it because of some sort of health and food safety concern." (Mind you, they have half cut cabbages on a tray with other vegetables they sell as a soup meledy)😒🤦‍♀️They've been like this since I moved to this side of town 2 years ago. Decided I'd rather drive a bit further and go to the one on Valley Hi, and I do, but I only came this time because it's the closest HEB, and it was cold. I finally said enough, and that's why I'm writing this review. For a company who defines themselves on their customer service, community, low prices blah blah blah, this store's customer service is subpar, and I just rather drive a bit further and go to the Valley Hi HEB. Marbach HEB Plus, DO BETTER!

We went there for a small Thanksgiving last minute buying. Saw the deal of 2 pies for $13 or so....my wife said I don't want these flavors; a worker there by name Jerelyn over heard our conversation. Long story short - Jerelyn hooked us up with a cherry pie. So we left that store with an extra blessing. That was awesome during tough times.Definitely will be returning for business.Thanks Jerelyn,Thanks HEB!

This heb discriminates against service animals! My service dog was forced out of the store on one of the hottest days this past summer. Every single visit since I’ve seen people walk in with their non service pets without anyone being told a single thing about needing service animal documentation. My service dog almost died of a damn heat stroke because the security guard and one of the store managers wouldn’t let my daughter, my service dog and I through the front doors without proper proof that my dog was in fact a service dog.And when I mention that someone is in the store with a pet nobody bothers to confront those customers.I want to know why that is!Maybe it was just my lucky day to be discriminated against?!Terrible store management!

I love HEB plus but this store in San Antonio didn't have Scan & Go...! So so disappointing! ALL HEB stores need to have it!

Being new to San Antonio area, I had never heard of H.E.B. Let me say, they can be busy but for good reason. Great bakery, good selection of produce and meats, if you need it, they likely have it. I like the pre-packaged marinated meats. Throw them in the freezer for those days when you need a quick meal. They have everything from carne asada, to teriyaki, to korean bbq. And the individual portion of the carrot cake is pretty darn good.

If you like shopping and you like Texas, then this is the place for you! I've never seen so many Texas themed items in one place. There is a very large selection and very good prices in general. This is a very high traveled spot so be prepared for it to be crowded

This is an older HEB and I do enjoy coming here but sometimes it can be a little frustrating when items are not available. It may not be the fault of HEB but nevertheless it can be frustrating. I'm sure they are doing their best to get the products their customers need.

They have Wal-Mart pricing but a significantly larger selection. Given the size of this store, be prepared to earn those steps as you get caught up "window shopping" when you only needed some canned corn...

I have notice these security guards act like they can just do whatever they want I have seen them arguing with customers..one time gaurd was screaming across parking lot at customer..but today an few days ago...I have noticed a guard walking around the front smoking a vape almost looked like a brand name CAKE one ..with THC...also there is a sign that says no smoking no vaping....so I guess they are doing what they want.. if it wasn't for use they wouldn't be here ..so I think they should show more gratitude an less rudeness

This location is perfect. There are some drawbacks. The deli section lacks variety. It's pretty much all ham and poultry stuff. The variety of name brand options is scarce. A lot of HEB brands. The canned fruit is extremely limited.

Price gouging at HEB Marbach on their Tomahawk Steaks. $13.99 lb when HEB Pleasanton Rd has them for $8.99 lb.
