I remember going to this HEB location as a kid, and after visiting here again years later it surprised me how great this location still is. I was able to navigate the store with ease. Parking was not an issue. There is even a fuel station at this location. Very clean, well stocked and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Always clean, I can find what I need. They don't have as many options and some of the bigger hebs, but it's quick to come here. The bathroom is only 2 stalls, which, for someone with chronic stomach issues, worries about.

Went for a few items, purchased them, and went through self-service. Went for 64 oz half & half creamer that I supplyfor my co-workers, I was traumized by how much the price had increased. I was disappointed that I had to settle for the 16 oz. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Love to shop like this.

Came here while visiting San Antonio and stopped in to pick up a few things for breakfast the next day. Found lots of options and really good prices for organic produce. The store was also really clean, and we didn’t have to wait long to check out from the self-checkout area.

I wish HEB had a training for their employees that taught them how to bag the groceries properly....Why are my bread & chips in the same bag as heavy canned goods? Or why are they putting my bleach with my fresh produce?🤔🤔🤔

Parking at this location at Culebra and Tezel, I think, can be a tad tricky due to yield signs in the lot and their apparently busy on-site fuel station. The store layout here differs a bit from the other HEB stores I visit, however, items are still easy to find and many of the same items are stocked. I usually use the self checkout, but their employees are engaging and helpful.

We came here to pick up groceries and snack. We had a wonderful experience, and got plenty of snacks. The price were reasonable. I especially like their HEB branded snack and bread. Overall, it was a fun visit. It definitely left a good first impression of HEB for me.

Poor location with terrible management. I was shopping for vitamins & cosmetics for an upcoming trip while my husband was paying bills at the service counter, which took quite a while. In the meantime I was wandering around the store, trying to decide what to get for our dinner. When he finally found me, we discussed what to eat & made a few more selections. We were at the self checkout when some guy in a wannabe cowboy getup & his little sidekick, (both HEB employees) were just standing there holding open boxes of hot pink Splat hair dye & muttering “that’s not all you have” or something to the effect, accusing us of stealing the hair dye. By the time I realized what they were accusing us of, I was so taken aback I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I said “are you accusing us of stealing?” I opened my purse to show him I didn’t have anything in it, & he still said “you know you have it.” My husband & I kept repeating “are you seriously accusing us of stealing?” He then put his hand to his back pocket as if he was reaching for a weapon to scare us. Mind you, this was in front of everyone. I’m a 57 year old professional woman with college degree who has traveled the world & never been accused of stealing in my life. Then I guess they must have realized their error & they just walked away leaving, us humiliated & in shock.I paid for our purchases, shaking & knowing my face was flushed, still in shock. I was so upset that my husband went back after dropping me at home to get an explanation or an apology. The manager didn’t want to give him his last name & offered a $10 gift card as compensation for this nightmare.These employees fancying themselves as investigators are obviously not trained properly, & (in this case) don’t have the brain power to solve the most basic of shoplifting situations.I was a loyal customer at this location on Grissom, shopping almost daily, but I will never set foot in this location again. The manager’s name is Will & the other employee is Angel. They are a pathetic representation of HEB & retraining is desperately needed for these clowns. It was a horrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.This occurred in December, 2023. It is now April 2024. I have contacted corporate headquarters twice, filed two complaints on the phone number provided, and still haven’t received any response, explanation, apology or any acknowledgment of wrongdoing. Meanwhile, Will is still working at this location. I am traumatized and have not been back in this HEB since the incident. HEB needs to correct this horrible occurrence. I’m not going to let this go and am prepared to take further action to rectify this root problem that HEB refuses to even acknowledge.

Really disappointed with with fresh tortilla that HEB makes. I bought whole wheat tortillas. They're all out of shape. Uncooked broken pieces in there. Very disappointed with HEB. Crystal tears wouldn't buy it again

I absolutely love my neighborhood HEB , whenever I walk in its set up nice it smells nice EVen tHe restrooms are neat and clean. BUT my favorite thing about this place is how helpful and generous the managers are abd that's so rare in my experience. I had to leave my groceries before I could pay because I lost track of time I needed to get my son and this wonderful woman took my basket took my name and let me put it to tbe side till I came back. She was amazing 👏 thankyou HEB!

Last night was one of the busiest nights at this HEB branch with everybody preparing for the winter storm. With all this chaos, i unfortunately forgot my phone in the car and unable to contact my daughter to pick me up in front. Twas really dark already and my efforts were futile searching the parking lot. The phone at the business center was no help and i gathered up the courage to approach one of the HEB staff to use their personal cellphone to contact my daughter. Just a shoutout to Marisela for helping me during that desperate time. She did not hesitate to help me that night! Kudos to her! It may seem such a small thing but it was surely one big thing for me.

This review, is for the 2 ladies(managers??)inside the little room in front of the register. I said, " hello ladies", the older one replied I will be with you, then they kept watching a video on the older ladies phone, laughing and rewinding it, after 1 minute I decided to leave, they didn't care to have wasted my time, great example for their crew.This happened on January 22nd 2024 at 2:43 pm

It’s my neighborhood HEB, and I don’t like shopping here. It has the poorest selection of anything from meats to everything. Poor wine selection and beers too. Just completely hate my shopping experience here. Completely out of other name products BLAH!!!!! 😖. 30 years now and I see many other HEB ‘s with a variety of merchant products not just H‑E‑B. I keep saying this is the last time EVER. Then the employees who see me here eventually, say wow it’s been awhile since we have seen you. I truly just bite my lip. 😔

Had a lot to offer in the produce department especially for it being close to closing time when I was there. As usual great quality and great prices. I bought more than I was originally planning because everything looked good and was priced fairly. If you don't already use it then download the app so you can get all the coupons available because you can save so much money that way and HEB offers the best deals that I've seen.

How is a chain this big not open on time? The gas station sign says it opens at 6. At 6:05 I called the store to find out why it wasn’t open. I was told we’re on the way, we open at 6…🤔. Then he got there and says he has to count his drawer and do his audit before opening. You obviously don’t open at 6…

This is my local grocery store. Sometimes they don't carry items I like but, overall staff is very friendly. Wish customers were more patient and kind. I think we need ed blinkers on carts and a friend horn that says excuse me. Just suggesting. Thanks

No social distancing in place and could be cleaner during these times. Customers do not wear masks.8/14/21Horrible inconsiderate curbside service. Placed my order on the App and never received a notice that my order was ready, 8:30 I check in and received a text stating they will be right out. 20 minutes after nothing, I call and the automated system says to call tomorrow. My daughter goes inside to speak to someone and no one takes responsibility or try to help. I wasted an hour of my time no one had the courtesy to message or call me that they would not be available to help me with my curbside online order. I will never do business at this HEB , Walmart is a much better option at least they communicate and provide the groceries we order every time. HEB you have to get your business evaluated! I want my full refund for my groceries not provided!!!! Do not go to this HEB! Called customer service no apology, one star for refunding my money in 48 hours.One star because Zulema lead at HEB called to apologize and she sounded sincere. I was offered a gift card for a dinner of two or free delivery which is not needed I just wanted an apology, the fact that curbside employees dropped the ball more than once still makes me not recommend this location for curbside.

Couldn't find Edibles . Tried HEB and found a bakery full of delicious Valentine cakes and cupcakes. The real treasure however were the ladies that were very helpful and just as sweet as their baked goods.At the register the young lady was very friendly and helpful.After walking out the doors I realized I was going to need help. I didn't have to ask anyone for help because the HEB young lady noticed and immediately came to my help .The personal office "you've done well."
