This store is always a wreck. The people that shop here are rude and dangerous. The police are constantly being called here. Terrible and dangerous parking lot. People always speeding. And to top it all off, we bought these tamales yesterday 12-30-23 and they expired 3 weeks ago. Worst H-E-B I've ever visited.

This 5 star review is for JOE the very welcoming inviting great door greeter. I feel he deserves some type of recognition and maybe even employee of the month. I had a situation where 2 items were left behind and he made me feel like a true valued customer. He has been there for years and always has a smile. I typically do curbside because of the side of town I live on, this store is always packed. On the other hand Steve and Alec both store managers were not so nice, I waited almost 25 mins for them to "check cameras" and be sure 2 items were indeed left behind. In my opinion I felt very embarrassed, ridiculed and made felt like a liar because of how I look (tattoos) I will now be using a different HEB in hopes to never feel that type of embarrassment from employees again. And yes my items were left behind.Sincerely, the girl who told y'all she manages a hotel property

First time at pharmacy,Miss Sally was great,helpful and so nice. Mr. Earnest,took time to explain med to me,made sure I got the right med. He was very helpful and thorough. People so nice there!!!

They say that only 15 items on self check out. Early in the morning, no shoppers but the only cashiers that are open has lines out the door. And I have to go stand in a big line.

This is one of the busiest but most poorly staffed HEBs in the city. Wealthier neighborhoods have nice HEBs, they renovate, update, remodel. Here in Las Palmas they neglect the store. But is is constantly busy. This store is in serious need of a rebuild, expansion, cleaning up, and staffing. Don't forget those of lesser economic means.

Literally the worst customer service lucky it wasn't my elderly grandmother being treated the way she was smh literally i had to get out of line to assist the sweet older woman then after you want to act nice to her and talk correctly as if you weren't being hella disrespectful getting frustrated kept walking away from her repeatedly i called her manager which mind you just made excuses for her associates behavior just because y'all are busy doesn't excuse that type of behavior absolutely terrible!!

Thanksgiving eve! Of course it’s going to have 3 stars!!!! Booty packed! To the max! Can’t find parking inside the store lines are all super long!!!! But outside of this holiday season this store always get 5 starts!!!!!!!

This is one of the worst HEBs in San Antonio they always have long lines. If you have 13 or 15 items the clerk will not let you use the self checkout line they will literally tell u to go and wait in one of their long lines. The greeter is cool but the lines are horrible

Came here 2 minutes upon closing time, they told me they were closed. Your sign says 6 am- 11pm, the security said “too bad” and shut the doors on me, as I walked away he started laughing with the staff like it was funny. Very bad business practice. I will take this up and make sure it’s delt with. Very rude! Will not return to this HEB.

Stopped by here at this HEB only because my wife works on this side of town she and I ran in for a few items at around 7:40 or 8 pm this is the second time we have been to this HEB location I’m usually not one to write reviews. But the greater at this location is very unwelcoming no greeting when we walked in or when walking out but I noticed as we payed at the self check out she kept looking my way almost as if she thought I was. Not scanning every item . As we left she say goodbye to the older couple ahead of us but looked at my wife and I and gave she and I a mug looking face . Mind you we have been here only twice and the two times she gave us a dirty look don’t think I will be returning to this location.Manger should take time out his day to train the greater properly never know what someone is going through and a smile and hello could make all a difference.

Shame on you for selling outdated food! I have complained several times about the meat appearing to be old and unhealthy, only to be told the community “demands” cheaper cuts of meat. You wouldn’t feed it to your family, so why expect us to. I have been told I could speak to the meat market to request better cuts of meat, but I shouldn’t have to do that - it should be readily available.

This H‑E‑B is one of the worst H‑E‑B you can go too. The customer service is awful. Today went through self checkout and I was questioned why I went through that area. Yes I did have a few more items on my cart. The cashier who was assisting on the self check out was so rude, unprofessional and made my purchase unpleasant and awkward. I didn’t catch her name all I remember were the tattoos on her face And her Fanny pack she had across her chest. Please H‑E‑B do better! Self checkout (665) 8/30/23 1:14 pm

It would be nice if they had more options. Other HEB locations are bigger and have much more of a variety to choose from. Hopefully they expand soon since Luby's is now closed.HEB, we don't just eat Mexican dishes..

They are improving the store but still awesome! Update! 2/19/24. Today we were in line to pay and the manager said I could get in the 15 items or less line cause I didn't have more than 20 items! Anita the cashier was upset about it and she started telling me about it in a not so nice way!? I told her that the manager said it was ok BUT she didn't care she kept telling me I was in the wrong lane to pay!!!So I called the manager over to tell her something!!!Never, Never have I've been yelled at before for 19 items in a 15 or less line!!Hopefully management will take care of the issue!?!

Things have not gotten better here! Had to bag our own groceries because no one would do it!! Line 4 is a full check out line and we had to AGAIN BAG OUR OWN GROCERIES!!! NO ONE NOT EVEN MANAGERS WOULD STEP UP! Guess it’s time to call corporate! Had to change my review. Now that I live on n the area I hoped that this would be my new HEB, unfortunately this place has bad “partners” the check out girl had to call for help 6 times because of her mistakes, and the rows don’t have much space. You also might have to bag your own stuff.👎🏻👎🏻

Went to the bakery on Father's Day and a worker named Blanca helped me find the perfect cake for my dad. A lot of the cakes at the bakery were messed up because of the temps and she moved cakes aside to help me look for the exact flavor and design I wanted. Thank you Blanca!
