Can't believe I can't shop at family dollar with a fanny pack on, required to leave it at the door? I didn't realize family dollar was willing to take responsibility of my belongings at the door? Crazy I didnnt see that part in the store policy "must leave bags at the door" thanks Roland for turning my money away, lord knows I could use it else where.

Moved to this part of town somewhat recently, and it is conveniently close by for when I need a quick soda or snack for a special occasion or want to find some thrifty items for an art project.Good soda and snack selection for a cheap and small store as well. Their freezers aren't always fully stocked but that is to be expected sometimes, especially on First Fridays.Staff have been kind to me thus far, one of the lady cashiers explained to me that my purse-sized backpack was fine to bring into the store despite the sign saying "No Backpacks" on the door, which is a relief for me since I use it to carry my wallet and water bottle when I go for walks.

This store has two very helpful and nice people at the register. The woman today, Jan. 7 around 11:30 am was the sweetest woman. The man was helping me figure out their app that saved me 11.00. With times like now ever penny counts. These two people really went out of their way to help me. The store was clean and organized.

0 stars are due to Roland and the Store Manager they must be the worst mgmt team Ive ever had experience dealing with and if not all my experiences are positive ones. I’m usually the one lifting others up. But tonight’s event was uncalled for and inexcusable. I was accused of theft when I had placed a “opened” bottle back on shelf. Now what if I chose the wrong bottle to put back or I didnt open it and just maybe I wasn’t paying attention and did open it. Nevertheless Weve spent plentiful amounts of money and time here over the last months and a $2 item isnt even worth the loss of my business. Now the loss of much more bc the humiliation I endured infront of my child as an honorable customer I will make sure the loss is much greater if not their jobs but aswell plenty of customers! Theres no reason for treating people this way and not treating them with respect and kindness! Aren’t we innocent until proven guilty by court of law. Or arent we all people that make mistakes “stupid ones sometimes,” but mistakes all the same! God forbid Id want to return after being humiliated this way.

Well I can't give a up to date star because I haven't had a way thete in over 8 months. I sent my provider there with my EBT card and explained it couldn't be scanned. I was told they couldn't put in the numbers because their policy said only the manager could do it and she wasn't there. I do online shopping and the products I ask for aren't available. Not sure the EBT would work on line. When I lived in Panama City Florida they took the card both ways money is money. I hope to resolve these issues if someone would kindly answer the phone. Actually it never rang it just hung up. I miss my bargains.

Extremely dissatisfied with both cashiers that were working on 7-18-21, approximately 8:30 p.m.. My daughter and I bought some necessities and when I asked the cashier if he could double bag just our 2 liter sodas and a gallon of sweet tea because we were walking back to the motel and he replied" NO". We're from El Paso,Texas and when a customer asks for double bag, especially if the items are drinks the cashier gladly provides what the customer asks. Unsatisfied customers, and Poor customer service!!!!!

It was great amazing service. some nice lady working there told me where everything was in the store so nicely, and also told me she couldn't double bag my items because. She would get in trouble and that was very understandable. I really love her energy and respect overall ‼️‼️‼️‼️🌹 ❣️

Just went in this store. Cashier/manager (not sure) asked me how my day was, told me to have a great weekend, truly cared what I had to say! Best customer service I've ever had in my life. Give her a raise haha!

The isles are always clean and I never get confused about where I’m supposed to get my items. And to add a period of the event is get your items you need and the manager will ensure that you get taken care of.

If possible I wouldn’t give them any stars. The staff is always eating at the front counters and on their phone. They never help with opening the door when I have my 6mo old in arms and several bags of items in other hand. Whenever I ask for assistance they always seem bothered they have to stop talking about their weekend or how much they hate their job to tell me what aisle something is located. Store needs to do a revamp with their poor employees and start from scratch.

This place is like a second home almost. I go here several times a week and they have everything that I need without having to go to a grocery store or walmart. Staff is awesome. Always friendly.

i will say the store is in a good place of san antonio very close to the downtown area but it needs more staff who will dedicate the time to keep the place running some of the shelves were empty and looked like the employees were understaffed but over all I would still shop here
