I was very impressed with this converted Walgreens turned Dollar tree. It was very clean and well kept. The ladies sure kept those lines moving. One could say they were in a bad neighborhood, but I felt safe. I rethink there is a missed opportunity to turn the drive through into an express pick up label, maybe even late night. Either way, it was worth stopping I even picked up as huge box of Capn Crunch for a dollar plus change. I was as happy as a pig in a poke.

Biggest dollar tree in San Antonio. They have everything and it's clean and organized. I'm not to sure on the neighborhood. The staff is so nice, professional and welcoming. The freezer section is massive.

Just left this joke of a store about 5 minutes ago. I get there, store was empty. I grabbed my items, got to the cash register with two employees at the register. Turns out the girl who was supposed to be there was “hiding” so the other two employees called her on the intercom. Eventually this short skinny girl with glasses struts out laughing. When she finally gets to the register she’s more concerned about the conversation the two other employees were joking about than to actually finish checking me out of the store. They take it as a big joke and I walked out. No wonder the homeless camps who come into this store have taken over. If the store was busy is one thing but these people were just cutting up.

I came at 7:35pm. The store says it closes at 8pm but the employees lock the door early and didn't let me in when I pointed at the sign and took a picture in front of him. If the employees are this unprofessional and lazy, the location is best avoided.

This dollar tree needs a lot of help. The employees were friendly. However, the shelves were in disarray and a lot were bare. Seems like stocking was an issue. The parking lot has a lot of trash as well as homeless people sleeping in it. The store has great potential so I hope it gets some help.

This Dollar Tree isn't the biggest one in San Antonio, (and it isn't the smallest), it's on my bus route home so I come here almost everyday. It's way better than Family Dollar or HEB since all products are $1. The managers are cool; Especially under pressure , and I've seen it get kinda loco 😜 in there!

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Looks NOTHING like the pictures posted here. The place is trashed with stuff all over the floors. I almost slipped. The parking lot is filthy. Homeless people asking for money. The cashier wasn't friendly. Didn't even say Hi..I won't be back. 👎

Seriously one of the best experiences at a store, not just Dollar Tree, but ANY store. The manager Jerron was literally a one man show. He was able to help four people in the time it would take anyone else to help just one...ALL WHILE CHECKING IN A VENDOR!! He is worth 10 of the average retail workers, and is making the rest of the retail world look bad. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE AND PROMOTION!!Edit: I just remembered that he greeted everyone coming into the store, and seemed to even remember details about a few. One older lady came in behind me and he said "Hey!! Good to see you again! I'm glad you're feeling better!"

The employees don't have no hospitality towards customers. The building has a whole army of homeless all around the building. The products are all over the ground. I recommend checking on items before you buy. I purchased and seen other people purchase food/items that were expired. YUCK!

I was In the store and a elderly cashier had a line of people calls the manager and manager got upset because the elderly lady called for help. Elderly lady asked if she can go to lunch and manager said No! Not right now. Manager had a mad face because she was called to help cashier. WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR ELDERLY PEOPLE WORKING. Very said Dollar Tree manager!

Love my Dollar Tree ❤🌲 The employees are always nice, especially at the ones I go to. Dollar Tree has almost everything for all my crafting needs. Can't get enough of this store, I'm here almost every week, sometimes twice a week. I really hope you all will add more crafting stuff to the craft aisles and make them bigger. Regardless, Dollar tree rocks!😊👍👍👍👍

3rd visit to one of the converted family general. Much better organized. Better priced. This is a throwback to stores we had in 1950' s. Woolworth, Ben Franklin, 5& dime. It was a child's paradise. Everything from penny candy to costumes to toys and even arts/crafts. It was nice going in to buy nothing and leaving with at least 9 items each time. None over $1. Pretty neat. Not without challenges. But staffing can overcome. Little polishing in marketing.

I was appalled , my daughter was in the store because she stayed so long the manager thought she was stealing, mind you not a good area but before you treat people like sh... Find out if something wrong, she had just been through a tragedy, first time out and abd this happen. The manager should be ashamed! She has to much stuff must be stealing, he said! Jerry, I think it was , I begged her to wait and go somewhere else with me but she wanted to try😔

Horrible experience. Have been going to this store for 6 months since I started working down the street. I had a hand bag that I carry my service dog in & my groceries I was chased around the store they told me to leave my bag with my wallet and phone up front they treated me like a criminal. I was embarrassed. The entrance says no backpacks. Says nothing about hand bags or purses. Very embarrassing. There store is disorganized, messy and long wait to cash out.

This location is pretty much always disorganized...too many homeless people soliciting customers on the way in to the store, the employees are overwhelmed w stocking and because of that, there's alot of shoplifting. This location needs some type of security to insure customer and employee safety.

Love Dollar Tree. But this location is scary. Doesn't seem like the management has any interest in clearing out all the druggies and others loitering outside the store. For Lease sign has been out since its opened and just makes it look more sad. Brand new store and already looks awful outside.

Shelves were messy & half empty. Beggars outside the door. Not very well kept. But I still managed to purchase $50 worth of stuff. It woulda been more had the shelves been stocked. Maybe I should thank em.

It is a BIG MESS and some guys ran out with some boxes of candy and the ONLY cashier a female took off running after him. She said because it was about $60 worth, so the gentleman working with her ran out cause it was 2 shoplifters and just her. Had the big line of customers she left waiting walked out they would have lost a whole lot more. I guess she felt HER LIFE was worth $60......SADVERY Filthy and Scary WE will NEVER stop here again. The one at Empire Plaza on S. Zarzamora is much better and given the area much safer.

My mother and I love this place, our local dollar trees employees are amazing and nice, although I wish they could stop the homeless people from harassing women, I've seen it happen often, maybe get some security guards

I love dollar tree, I mean who doesn't, I have been to some unorganized Dollar trees and this one is by far a clean friendly environment, they have alot of panhandlers out back by the side.But they are at a distance Not bitheirng anyone.I give it 5 stars I love going in and finding exactly what I Need and coming back out with Mores than I went to go originally buy. ❤️😍

I usually love coming here but today I have experienced in the most disgusting customer service from a lady name ALEX. She didn't smile. I asked her politely to charge certain amount out of my card. Once transaction went through I hadn't even noticed she never changed the amount. Now I'm overdrawn!! I confronted her about this and her dull response "well, I couldn't change it" WITH ATTITUDE!! Thanks to her in never ever coming again!! I will be speaking with her manager.

This was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other Dollar Trees it was extremely well stocked. There was no overstock blocking the isles and employees were friendly efficent and helpful.

Shelves were a mess, no security for being in one of the high crime areas, you'd think they'd protect their employees & customers better. Psycho chick high as a kite shopping the row crazy af making all kinds of noise!! Hope she doesn't OD in there.

whenever I was paying someone came up to the register and asked how much was one of roll of toilet paper I was like what the hell this is Dollar Tree but overall it was very convenient to get the items I needed to find a grill rack and aluminum tray for my hot wings. Also this is like the biggest Dollar Tree I have been to
