Okay I literally Love this place the employees try so hard to manage this place but it's the customers that are so rude and inconsiderate. Yes they close early but only because of how much of a bad area it is they literally ran off so many people stealing & homeless people loitering. The employees try so hard but with the area they have no chance I feel sorry for them and even sorry for myself as a customer. If more people were considerate then maybe this place wouldn't be so bad.

I went in here to use my Gift card my ex coworker gave me when I used to work at DG. It was a thank you giftcard. The employee who was scanning the items with my transaction looked like she didn't know what she was doing. She tried scanning my gift card like it was a transaction item, as if I was gonna purchase it. I looked to see how she was doing it by looking at her screen. No actual effort towards asking her coworker for help at all. I would give it 0 star experience if I could. I got annoyed, since she already had a line and just ended up having to use my debit card. It looked like she didn't want me to use my giftcard since she already knew how to help my purchase once I said to forget it and I'd use my debit card. 🙃 No helpful or patient employees at all. 0/0

Just a little customer appreciation would be nice. Most of us go there every day due to convenience, but I see alot of what feels like resentment when it comes to customer service.I don't take this post litely , I've waited months to see or feel an improvement . I now stop there only if I have to .What a shame , it could be a good neighborhood convenience.

I coupon and male cashier is rude. I asked if he could bring down some cans from top shelf. He said he had to get the ladder. I waited more then 20 minutes.he never came back. I heard him at the register. Somebody else had to help me after i ask her. When i got to the register to pay he said o im sorry i forgot about you. He didn't forget about me he ignored me.

An employee named Andrea couldn't bother to pull her nose out of a catalog to assist a special needs customer that was searching for an item. This was my second visit to that store in less than a week while she was doing the same thing.

Used to go there every week to get what I need I live downtown San Antonio so it's easier to get out of the city and go to the store so I quit going there because it was going there for past 6 7 months never carded for cigarettes and I got with me my 31-year old son I'm 51 years old the gentleman asked me he needs to see my ID cuz I look under 21 the same young man that's been at that register for 6-7 months sell them to me every week with no problem I definitely don't look under 21 I quit going there I'm not spending $200 every week at the store ever again I just moved along and I will find a different franchise that'll accept my money I thought it was an insult when I want to 18 year old child looks at me and then wants a card me because I look under 21 at 51 years old I don't think so I'm with my 31-year old son with me that's just wrong and the sign says if I look under 21 card me I mean I know the young man was doing his job but very poor so I quit spending my money there in a manager very poor manager all he did was yell I'd avoid it Management's rudeDollar general if you don't believe me just look it up in the my debit card sitting there once a week faithfully you lost a good customer to him

Not a coupon friendly location. The manager was rude. The employee named Chris (a girl) did not want to do our transactions because we were couponing so she had the manager ring us up. Manager said he did not like coupons and just gave attitude the whole time. Im still gonna go back and coupon idc if they dont like it. Lol

I like the dollar clearance specials .the people who workTheir are always helpful.once I was short 2.00 I said I will go out to my truck & get it 2 young men who worked their put the money out of their own pockets .& Said it's okay miss we got it .they were so kind .I used to shop family dollar .

If u really need a car and got bad credit but want a new car of the year or a year old or more but in excellent condition. This is the place to go... Just ask for Melvin. That's a cool mofo and backs his word up . The chacons on Leon valley. Don't forget to ask for melvin
