I had the worst experience at this location with the most unprofessional cashier last night. I get it was late and they were probably wanting to go home. Her attitude was nasty and should have probably left early so I would have to deal with that. I worked all day myself and I would never treat any customer that comes to give me their money to keep a business open. She didn’t scan all my items that I placed on her countertop, I had to do two transactions. Then she kept huffing and puffing as I was walking off and started tapping on the keypad. Then as I walked to the next cashier i mentioned that the other girl needed to go home and the cashier said oh whatever and continued to blab stuff as I walked out. It’s just so rude to have people working that actually don’t want to work or just don’t know how to keep her mouth shut. It’s part of customer service. I need someone to call me because I’m not happy at all.

Been going since I moved back to this area two years ago,I go probably three or four times a week.that should tell how I love this store.hard working staff and very friendly.

Walked in at 9:40pm on a Tuesday evening, lady moping looked at me with an "I dare you to walk on my mopped floor" look, over her glasses. No greeting all she said was "We BoUtA ClOsE". I went to get what I needed, dog food, that's all I went for, I knew they were about to close. While getting the dog food, she walks up to me and says, "YoU NeEd To MaKe YoUr WaY tO ThE rEgIsTeR". The front door was kept locked at 9:45 pm. Nobody let in after that timeSo my suggestion, don't show up later than 945 pm expecting to get in.

Every time I go into this store there is a line down the aisles. The store manager is super slow when it comes to working the cash register but as soon and the one dude that works there hopped on the register the line went down super fast not to mention the store is super hot ac has been out since idk how long and I give props to the employees who have to deal with the heat I just don’t like how slow the manager is on register when her employee gets thing done and out.. Store manager also has like zero customer service skills and just overall kinda rude!! Her employees though always nice her not so much!!

This place’s AC has not worked for months. The employees are suffering and their management does nothing about it. I tried asking for a manager to complain about the AC but of course there was not one there, leaving their employees to suffer all the while they are probably sitting at home in a cool air conditioned environment. Do better dollar general management. Y’all make over a thousand of dollars daily and still cannot pay to get your AC fixed for your customers and poor employees. OSHA will be getting involved.

The air conditioning hasn’t worked all month. They haven’t fixed it. They just close down from 2pm-7pm. I went in and it was hotter inside than outside where it was over 100 degrees. I was dripping sweat trying to buy cat food. The workers are suffering. FIX THE A/C YOU CHEAPSKATES!!!!!

This store is horrible. The A/C has been out since before July and they said the owner doesn't want to upgrade the A/C. Meanwhile the employees are suffering through the heat looking like they going to pass out. Now they've been closing from 2-7. They'd rather lose money than upgrade the A/C. Where's Corporate? Why haven't they stepped in? It still says Dollar General in front of the building!!

Embarrassingly slow the store manager was on register pretty sure she don't know what she's doing, as soon as she got an employee on reg 2 that line melted fast. Those employees should trade positions. I just left 5 mins ago.

Everyone who works there are always super nice, but the AC has been out since the 4th of July!! And they are STILL working in this heat! It has been over 104 many times now since and all they have for reprieve is a couple fans and to keep the front door open, which DOESNT HELP. I could barely spend the 5 minutes in the store myself, i don't see how the workers can put up with it. And I definitely don't understand how they haven't closed it until the ac is fixed! This is a billion dollar company and they can't get this ac fixed???? Cmon now

It is disgustingly hot in there... the air conditoner hasnt worked in weeks. I passed by the candy & all of the chocolate was melted... just sitting there. Smh feel bad for the employees too

Only giving 2 stars because the workers are working it the HEAT and still friendly !! I live down the street and go there ALL THE TIME the AC has been out since before 4th of July. Today I went to grab a few things and it is 105 outside and miserable in side with the ac out !! I hope you fix it ASAP!

Every single lane has so much in the way.the price on self compared to what is rung up is way higher-resolution.cant wait till some new management comes to fix this or another type company opens

This store is well lit, well stocked, and well organized. The staff always is friendly and helpful. It's great when you can stop in and grab a few items quickly on your way home to Floresville from San Antonio. They have good clearance sales and prices are always clearly marked. They also honor coupons!

Its a good neighborhood convenient store. Friendly atmosphere and are greeted every time you walk into the store.😄They have a male cashier is over the top customer service and a female is very unfriendly, no customer service skills ever exercised. The staff is very friendly and they are always open in the worst weather I’m thankful for all of them. The store manager has gotten that store shippable again. Even though the lines get long at times I understand the one on the register to check me out and one on the floor to put things out for me to sho. Thank you

Employees look miserable and mgr is very rude. The store is littered with trashy handwritten signs and they treat their customers like criminals. I decided to take a walk up there with my 6 month old son. They tried to tell me I couldn't have my stroller. They had sections blocked off and the store was a mess. It was the most ghetto looking dollar general I have ever been in. It definitely makes good people not want to spend their money there. If this is a corporate store, they need to drop in on this disaster and consider a new manager.

This store usually has what I need and definitely beats driving inti town and fighting the traffic and crowd. For the most part it is usually well kept and organized. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. Great location

I was over there and this women was being so disrespectful, yelling saying we need to hurry up and that if we can’t wait for the register we can hurry and leave banging on the counter banging the card reader yelling at everybody etc I just find it unprofessional

The people working there are very nice and caring. They really helped me when I had my son with me and bought some items that I just couldn't carry along with my son, so one of the workers offered to help me to my car and wouldn't even take a tip from me.

The ladies are nice. However, I purchased a sprinkler for my grandson, yesterday. I connected it today, for the fourth of July. It was defective. I took it back; the other 2 they had were the same. So, I chose a similar one that wasn't defective. They didn't honor the sale price because it was a "1 day sale"... C_ _p policy! I shop here often, not any more. South Press store here I come!

They are close and convenient. They have done a good job helping me and are friendly. The store is getting getting run down and ratty. The bathroom is kinda a yuck. Most likely corporate funding and mid mgt ignores it.

They used to carry Oak Farms Dairy whole milk, but they replaced it with a watered down store brand that has the consistancy of 1%. Also the store is usually a mess, they're regularly out of what I need. Prices are high enough that I might as well spend the extra gas and go in to town.

I love Dollar General. It’s super convenient and I find that if I only need a few things it’s way better than going all the way into H-E-B and spending a ton of money. Unfortunately this particular DG needs to be reorganized it’s very messy and most isles are crowded with things that need to be put away. They had everything I needed so that’s a total plus but it would be nice if it was better organized.

This dollar general is always dirty, most of the cashiers are rude except for Timmy and there use to be a Hispanic girl there with long hair and glasses who was VERY nice and friendly.They have tacky handwritten signs on the doors one even said “please stop hitting my car -Mgr” I only come here because it’s 4 minutes from my house but if you can avoid it, please do. Save yourself the hassle and go to WALMART instead.

Long lines, items not fully stocked. If you need something off the top shelf you will have to wait until they are available to help you which would seem almost impossible since their lines are super long.

I applied for stocking position there and after some time i finally just needed to fill out my i9 form so i can start working...but when Bertha seen it was me, she denied my application...i only applied because I'm a very stocker and this Store is always a mess..You can never get thru any of the isles due to trash, boxes and stocking carts...The manager Bertha is seriously rude to everybody and has no problem cussing in front of customers and towards employees. DG seriously needs to do a surprise visit because I'm sure they would be very disappointed with how this Store is handled. They also need to replace her as well before the store loses all its customers.

I go here frequently because it's close to home and most of the employees are friendly, but I usually end up waiting in line for a long time because there's normally only one cashier. The store is normally clean, but I did notice some traces of mold or maybe dirt on the grates in the refrigerators where the cold foods are kept.
