One of the messiest, un organized dollar generals!! IF YOURE ORDERING ONLINE... you need to know, tons of the items are not even online, so add substitutes!! Items dony even scan to the right item! Hate this one

This is the dirtiest dollar general. They're mostly all dirty and crowded, but they don't even try here. All the merchandise is on the floor, boxes everywhere. You can't even walk on some aisles. Not to mention, I never see any employees... store runs itself I guess. I went here in an emergency. And I left as quickly as possible, couldn't find what I was looking for, or anyone to ask!

Buy Balloons & helium is EXTRA!?!@#$ WTHSo I walk into my neighborhood Dollar General today, which I do several times a week.Today I was purchasing some mylar balloons, like I have hundreds of times. BUT, today, the cashier sticks the un-inflated balloons in my shopping bag! I'm like, wait! I need those blown up, please. His reply? Oh, ma'am, helium is extra? EXTRA?? Extra since when?? How much extra?? OMG.He replies, $2 per balloon.Me: What? Are you serious? I just paid $1.50 per balloon. Now I need to pay $2 "extra" for EACH to blow them up!?? 🤷‍♀️I was so confused. So my next step... okay, Sir, where does it state that helium is extra?He pulls out a sheet and there in black and white it read... $2.00 per latex balloon.Well, Sir... I just bought MYLAR balloons NOT latex! He says helium is expensive! Ha!Long story, short. He came up, apologized to me and agreed.DOLLAR GENERAL does NOT charge EXTRA for helium to blow up balloons when you purchase MYLAR's @ the store!Thank you, Ms. Manager 🤦‍♀️

They remodeled this place a couple of months ago. Since then, the store shelves have been nearly empty everyime i go. They never got it restocked before reopening, and they are not able to catch up I guess. Have gone twice, only to leave with no more than half the things I went for because they are not in stock. The store floor is full of rolltainers of inventory everywhere, making it impossible to get through the store.Today Nov 25, they barely had any Christmas stuff out. Other stores had it out around Halloween--these employees need help! They are understaffed!

It's getting better with each visit. The helpfulness of the staff, availability of items and enthusiasm of the staff. In the past, it was little unfriendly in my opinion. Can't put a finger on it but suffice it to say I felt I was kind of intruding. But maybe it was me. The store is in my neighborhood so I'll be visiting again for sure until something changes for the worse

I love dollar general! You can get a lot of name brand items for way less. The clearance section is great! So many items to choose from. Also, the decor section is awesome. You can get a lot of high end looking decor!

Very nice & clean, but their is only one entrance & its on the side where is constant traffic. Because of the school. I HATE IT. People comes fast from the stop signs & doesn't give me a chance to turn into the store. PLEASE FIX THIS Dollar General. This is the worst entrance ever. I give this store a 1 star until their is another entrance I will change it to a 5 star. I hate to get hit. People are rushing from the main Rd as it is & then turning from the main Rd into the Street next to Dollar General is a nightmare & there is also traffic jam because of that School. Yeah, I don't think I'll be going there until their is 2 entrance.

It's clean and they have a good variety of items and for such a small space however they almost never have enough people on register and lines can get long. Or line is short and something happens on one line and they take forever to open another. Staff is usually friendly though.

Need better customer service maybe treat your employees better so they don't have a hate my life attitude. Everyone I've ever ran into in Dollar general, is unpleasantly rude. Their stuck cart was in the way of something that I needed to get to, and it was pretty obvious but they decided to just ignore me anyway instead of asking if I would like it moved.. which really isn't a big deal until I scooted it out of the way myself and the worker then decided to look up and pay attention. Very angrily grab the cart shoved it off the other way and then when I walked off to look at the toys shoved it back in front of where it was. It's not really that hard to say oh I'm sorry let me move this for you. I've worked in customer service before, it really isn't hard to not be rude. But every single person in this store that works for the store, is a Scrooge McDuck with an F in place of the D

The manager at this dollar general is rude and doesn't have great customer service when walk in the are just staring never saying hello or welcome they get upset if you aren't ready or they have to void an item off your transaction.There's is alot of items though to browse from and it is organized.

I called Dollar General to ask for an item & was told they sell it. I didn't want to waste gas if they didn't sell it. When I arrived at store, cashier looked & told me they were out. I went to local) Family Dollar & I not only bought what I was looking for, but more items. Thank you! Family Dollar.

For a small storage has surprisingly a large variety of things that you never realize you needed until you needed them. I was making hamburgers and realized I didn't have buns, they had them. I was hanging pictures in my house and I needed more of those wonderful little nail hooks that go in at an angle, they had them.

I like the Dollor General because the workers or very helpful. And I can find a little of everything I want or need. Household items you can find clothing food drinks things for you call things for the garden a little bit of everything I just really like it overall in this real good customer service.

You can find so many things here at a low price. They have everything from candy, batteries, dog food, pajamas, milk and eggs. Seriously by far haven't been disappointed shopping here. Going to bigger grocery stores is great, but if you don't have to. Dollar General has had my back.

I came into the store with my two kids to pick up a few things. I decided I would let them pick out a toy. So we get to the front of the store to pay and of course typical with kids they start looking at and touching the candy. I told them to stop and as I am paying I just hear the lady yell at my daughter give that to me right now. I look at the lady kind like freaked out cause she is just a kid and what’s going on. She raises her voice to me and says she was trying to lick it. I know what my daughter did was wrong. I am not trying to justify it but to yell at my daughter and publicly humiliate me was so messed up. I just told her to charge it to me and handed right back to her and told her to throw it away. She was an older lady with blonde hair and bangs. Bewear if you have kids with you. She is so rude! Never ever again will I ever go in that store. What a psycho!

I realized I had misplaced my card right when I was at the register. My husband went to go look in the car. Quickly a line started to form and I asked the young man at the register if he can just cancel it till my husband finds it since there was a long line. He said no because he would have to ring up everything one by one all over again...(We had 10 items or less) I told him he is probably gonna have to do that. (Since it was over 5mins) He quickly threw his arms up in the air knocked something over out of anger and just walked off the register yelling Dad, Dad, Dad, Daaaad, Daaaad all over the store. I'm guessing his dad was the manager or something. It's pretty sad he can think his behavior is expectable because of his dads leadership. I was very uncomfortable since I was with my children and I felt he was about to go all white boy crazy on me. This "child" should not be working the register. He was very unprofessional, rude, and not to mention CRAZY. This is a family store for goodness sake.

It's an pleasant store to shop at.The Manager and her team are outstanding. I told the cheerful clerk at checkout I wanted to do (2) separate transactions (1) cash /(1) card.She informed me that P.O.S.system would automatically separate card/cash balance but the transaction was denied. I knew their were funds available on the card.The clerk realize that Problem & then the card/cash transaction was completed.Excellent Customer service, Remind me of the 17yrs I had in Retail Management. I tried going in the store at 9:53 and wasnt let in. Hours of operation state the store closes at 10pm can you update to 9:50 because that is what the little boy told me who wasnt letting anyone in.

Has the basics and a little bit more. Staff is usually friendly. Milk seems to have a 50/50 chance of being spoiled. Lines are usually 3-4 folks and they move quickly.

Will never come here again and I will be calling corporate telling how the employee was following me around the store for over 15mins and this was not the 1st I have been questioned if I pay for my items I WAS a regular couponer there who have hundreds of followers on my page and I will be sharing this telling do not go here the only reason I can think of them doing this is because I'm black I have not given any reason for them to treat me this was ... And it was all new workers the last 2 times not OK to do this to your customers

The manager on duty now is rude. Thankfully the cashier was not anything like his manager. Dollar general i think you can find some one more people oriented.
