The staff here lies. I asked a very simple question "can I get a tank of propane?" To which I got a response of "we don't sell propane after 8." The time was 7:41. As I'm checking the time it changes to "we don't sell propane after dark" then it changes to "my manager doesn't make me sell propane after dark because I don't feel comfortable going out when it's dark" its a female counter clerk I get it. Told her I'm perfectly fine with that, but just to not lie to me. Like again I get it, some women don't feel comfortable going outside (especially with a man who's like 6'1 210 lbs) alone after dark, perfectly understandable, but I really don't appreciate being lied to.

*If only I could leave 0 stars*The employees hired by this CVS must've been last option. They lack communication and customer service skills. Even the pharmacist is rude and petty. I strongly suggest you take the extra drive to the nearest Walgreens where everyone is always professional.

May 12, 2023, 9:30 AM. Both pharmacist are too busy discussing their weekend with each other to assist. After waiting patiently for 10 minutes, I interrupted him and asked for a question of help with a wound care bandage. What size do you need sir? I was asked and I said it didn’t matter so he gives me 4 x 4 gauze pads. I then explain to him the difference and I was told this is all I have. Very poor selection 4 x 4 and 3 x 3 gauze pads.. i’ve been asked him if he had the old fashion, Kotex, feminine pads that I could use in place. He had no idea what a Kotex pad was. I didn’t ask the female clerk, pharmacy assistant at the counter, and she said that I would have to call somebody in retail. Unbelievable customer service. Is CVS is never busy and now I understand why. I would not recommend anybody going to the CVS store on Pearsall and five Palms.

People are quick to complain but rarely share their positive experiences. This evening I stopped in to purchase some Arizona teas on sale. I wasn’t in the store very long and when I finished checking out, an employee walked up to me and asked if I was with the guy in the gray cap and shirt. Initially, I was confused because I was shopping alone. When I said no, he informed me that “the guy” was watching me the entire time I was in the store. He then walked me out carrying my purchase for me. “the guy” was parked next to my car and there was another guy in the car while he was outside the car facing the doors of CVS. Patrick waited until I was in my car safely and did not go back inside until I drove away. Once I left and got home, it hit me that something terrible could’ve happened to me. After I broke down and finally calmed down, I called the store to find out who the employee was that was concerned about my safety, I was told it was the manager Patrick. I have been a long time customer and I will be forever grateful that the employees of CVS ensured my safety. With all the crazy things happening in the world and people not caring or wanting to get involved, I am so grateful to know that my local CVS cares and I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Went In today to sent off a package for UPS. ( I just got off a 10 hour shift from work and wanted to get home). The cashier told me I needed to have my box already taped up with a label. (Mind you I never been to this ups location) Cashier Brittany and manager Beth were both very rude to me when I asked them if they had tape so i can tape up my box and label. The manger told me no very rudely with attitude and walked away. The cashier didn’t even apologize nor thank me as I walked out. I’ve only been to this location once and never again will I ever go Into that store. They have no customer service towards their customers and seemed very annoyed to even be working there. Very sad. They need better employees and managers

2 star deduction is for how often they find reasons to deny specific coupons sent via SMS, email, or appear in CVS app, along with not always having a working restroom available for customers. I use coupons more so recently, and it is irritating the amount of time and effort that goes into using for the item and by exp date, to be told system won't allow, etc...The pharmacist very willingly helped last nt when I asked for vaccination card w booster. He printed detailed copy w info for each dose. CDC.gov is almost impossible to retrieve and other CVS locations continued making excuses about info is only stored at service location.Thank you, Pharmacist Vined Gangidi, for your help tonight. You did not ask superfluous questions like every CVS pharmacy I recently tried recently. You were only concerned that needs fulfilled. :)

This store seems to be going through some pharmacy personal changes and not for the betterment of customers. It makes for not the best experience but also the fact you need to be really be careful driving into the parking lot. The entrance lights and some parking lot lights have not been working and makes it dangerous coming in from 5 Palms Dr.

Reason for the one star is the pharmacy and the pharmacy alone. We arrived at the store at about 6:15, grabbed what we wanted by about 6:20 and because the allergy med we wanted was behind the pharmacy counter we got in the pharmacy line and waited 40 minutes! After 40 minutes people started letting others get in line ahead of them making the wait time even longer. We didn't wait any longer, put the med back and went somewhere else. The problem is the guy working the counter. He moves slower than molasses in January and didn't seem to mind that he had a line going back one full aisle and that it was barely moving. He always moves as slow as he possibly can and doesn't respect your time as a patron, so if you can, do yourself a favor and get your meds at another pharmacy.

Call in your refills one WEEK in advance! Then MAYBE they will have it ready when you go to pickup. This location never has my prescription ready! I give them an extra 24 hours before I pickup and they still can't manage to get it done. They also ask people to wait in the drive through line while they fix their mistakes and try to fill prescription forcing other customers to wait longer. Thanks for nothing CVS!

Every time I go my daughters prescription is ready but the staff CANNOT find her name. I gave her full name, spell it out for the staff and give date of birth and they still cannot find my daughters name when I get told it’s ready. Like either they are slow mentally and cannot do their job or they just don’t care. Either way. It’s ridiculous

Such a horrible experience. Manager and cashier (brenda) were so rude. They limit and are strict with coupons thats fine but i asked why dont they at least label the sales and limits they want to enforce the manager stated in the policy they didnt have too. But as a customer how inconvenient, and she stated they need enough products for everyone. She also stated she was the inventory manager and i was confused on how every week she is not prepared for sale items. She became flustered and couldnt even justify logically why every week they are under supplied. I also was trying to redeem a cvs coupon on my app, how am i at least not able to redeem that if that is sent by corporate with the limits placed there. She stated i'd have to go to another store, but how unprofessional and rude my overall experience was and i definitely didnt feel Valued as a customer.

I use to like coming here but not anymore more! And I mean the pharmacy... they are so slow and take forever. They always tell me for pick up a certain time, I go a few hours later than what they tell me and the prescription is still not ready!! I don’t get it, it happens all the time now it’s so annoying! 🙄

The pharmacist and the pharmacy staff are extremely RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and have ZERO sense of customer service. I absolutely despise coming to this cvs but it's the only one nearest to my folks.

Manager or cashier lady really mean to a customer for couponing. She yelled really loud completely humiliated the customer and then called police. The lady didn't say much but the worker said she had a bad attitude? I felt embarrassed for the lady. Crazy CVS worker.

Store Manager at this location is very rude,Did not allow me to shop for my disabled mother, and then also by my items. I was told that i had to come back tomorrow to purchase my items. She didnt want to give her name and said they do things different at this location not CVS policy. They need a manager at this location that makes customer service a priority not personal, she really needs to get educated on customer service and not forget customers pay her check by shopping there...

Poor service.. they don't know what are doing, the guy very rude through the phone.. not able to do the prescription they put me back n forward with the hospital's staff, until the hospital recommended to change pharmacy..No lo recomiendo.. Rudos groceros todos los empleados de la farmacia.. no saben su trabajo..

There is NO LIGHTING! Currently 7:08PM and not a single light is on outside. There is an employee out in the dark collecting shopping carts. That is very unsafe! Turn the lights on!
