Terrible staff in pharmacy. I have been trying for almost a week to fill my new medication. I had a Savings Card and the gentleman at the window say, "I'll put it in but you'll need to come back in 15 minutes." So I went ran errands and then the pharmacist calls back and says, "I will have to call the Savings Card number to activate it myself." Then after all that they do not honor the savings card and I pay full price. Then when I go to pick up my medications another clerk at the window says, "You only have one prescription ready." I tell him I have texts that they are BOTH ready. He says, "Sorry, don't know why they send out those texts." He doesn't go look again or ask anyone above him like the pharmacist if it is ready. Then I get home and recieve another text that my medication is ready. This CVS IS SO INCONVENIENT AND NOT WORTH THE HASSLE TO DO YOUR BUSINESS THERE. This CVS needs some serious training and intelligent people working there. They have a DO NOT CARE for the customer attitude for their staff.

If I could give a zero star rating I would! Store items everything is over priced. Pharmacy wise hands down worst customer service! I always have problems with their pharmacy. They close daily 5-10 minutes earlier than the hours posted if there is no line. I’ve showed up with less than 10 minutes until they close and have been refused numerous times. This last time really upset me and is the reason for this review! I went to pick up 2 prescriptions and to my surprise weren’t ready. The tech who helped me at the pick up window asked if I was gonna wait or come back. I told the tech I would wait. (Don’t mind the fact that I am sick.) I waited over an hour no one notified me when then meds were ready. There were others who came in after me who waited for their meds and left before me. The pick up line started to back up and at this point another tech was at the pick up window. The tech who helped me moved to the drop off window and after I realized I had been there over an hour I went to the drop off window and asked the tech how much longer before my prescriptions were gonna be ready. The tech said oh I can check on that “Yes sir they’re ready you can go to the pick up side.” Didn’t even bother to help me knowing I had already been waiting over an hour and made me wait in line again! Worst customer service ever!! If could go back to H-E-B Pharmacy I would drop CVS in a heartbeat!!

I walked into this CVS and it was a beautiful sight! All the employees were dressed up, respectful, kind and putting out stock. I believe it was a beautiful respect to Christmas week! The store looked beautiful! It was neat, clean and you could find everything easily. Not sure why they received low scores before but today is a new day! I will come back!

Got here at 5 pm on a Sunday behind a car and as I was pulling up to get my medications, they shut the pharmacy window on me and just walked off. I was literally here behind the car waiting and they couldn’t even get me my prescriptions that are already paid for after the car in front drove off. It was rude and ridiculous. I’ll be transferring my prescriptions to somewhere more friendly to their customers.

Employees overworked and understaffed! It is not fair to them or the customers. I use to love coming here, the employees are absolutely amazing but CVS as a company has gone down hill

Probably one of the cleanest CVS in San Antonio. They are also always greeting you when you come into the store.If you have a question, in finding a product or a product not km the shelf, they are quick to help.With the previous pharmacist, she was super awesome!!!! Always eager to answer questions on any type of medication. Always asking if we were vaccinated and offering those services.Love this CVS.Masks required and social Distancing recommending.

I had a very terrible experience at this cvs. My daughter was prescribed an antibiotic. I picked it up and drove home. When I got home the antibiotic was not mixed. I was given the antibiotic in powdered form how it comes in the bottle. When I returned I wanted to explained the situation to the person in charge. When the pharmacy worker told the pharmacist on duty, she mixed the medication, placed in the bag and threw the bag towards me on the counter completely dismissing the fact I wanted to speak to her. She proceeded to help another customer and I waited . As I tried to explain the situation, she was very rude and condescending. I asked for person and number in charge. She asked why and I explain she was rude not did I get an apology for the mistake she had made. We proceeded to exchange words and told me that I can go somewhere else. I explained that I can’t go to another pharmacy due to my insurance. She replied with, “go to another cvs.” She gave me a number and a name which was written on a piece of paper and said, “Good luck with that” In my experience pharmacist are suppose to check the medication before it’s handed out and offered a consultation. I received neither nor an apology for her mistake. I was told she was the manager at this location and surely I am not the only one she acted like this. If this is how you are gonna treat customers. I’d rather pay out of pocket than go to pharmacy with a Manager pharmacist who is unable to apologize for a mistake.

Was trying from open to close to find out the status of my prescription only to get the runaround from both phone AND app menus. And when i finally DID get a hold of a live person (roughly 10 minutes before closing) the rude person at CVS answered with, "Closed, call back tomorrow" and promptly hung up on me when all I wanted was to ask if my prescription was ready. There was still time on the clock and if they had answered the phone sooner they could've helped me. Instead, I'm canceling my prescription because Walmart answered the phone in 5 minutes compared to 45.

Terrible pharmacy service!!! I get a call saying your medication is ready I call to see about pricing and I wa on hold for 20 min just for them to pick up say really quickly our systems are down call us back tomorrow and hung up. They don’t even let you speak. All these pharmacy’s need work on customer service. I work in healthcare , and even when our systems go down we answer the phone. They need a protocol in place . I have 3 staff members at an urgent care clinic and we all have to answer on other 3rd ring even if it’s a simple can you please hold. Then the longest we have them holding is 4 min. Even at that we pick and say I apologize I’ll be right with you not just hang up on them! do better!

I was waiting in the drive thru for about 15 minutes trying to pick up my prescription and without any notice they closed down. I guess I am suppose to know how long they're going to take. According to them their system doesn't allow any transactions after 8pm. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy.

Pharmacy won't answer the phone, the drive thru is an hour wait. They put insurance information in the computer wrong and tell me I have to pay full price or go on inside and wait another hour. They have put in prescriptions wrong to where I had to go without medication for an entire month. I wouldn't recommend this CVS to my worst enemy

I only complain when things aren’t right and this CVS doesn’t care about their job. You can tell the employees hate their job. Worst customer serviceEver, And the pharmacist obviously doesn’t care to have low ratings. Probably why they close the one on Potranco. My advice is do not go to CVS on Marbach. Worst service ever.Please contact corporate office and report them. I am. This is going on too long. Time to stop. Hire new personnel.

I am very disappointed in the management of this location. Posted Thanksgiving hours were 10am-2pm. I arrived to pick up a prescription at 1:30pm to learn that the pharmacy was taking their lunch from 1:30- 2pm, thus closing at 1:30pm.

Looks like there have been changes in management and the store looks great! Gone here a few times in the past and had a bad experience. But this time the workers were so much nicer and helpful!

Nice store in a convenient location. The staff is friendly and the pharmacist is knowledgeable. Who knew CVS had a little bit of everything? Oh, this location also has plenty of parking.

This is the worst CVS Pharmacy. I now with store closers they would be very busyBut every time I do inside they have at lest 7 to 8 workersI have check online and at the store asking why I am not receiving text notifications on my son's medication and it's not being put in the computerThey hang up the phone when you call. I walked into the store at 7:57 and was told that they are closed that because they didn't even look at me until 8:00. CVS use to be the only Pharmacy I would use. Bur I will be looking for a new Pharmacy ASAP.

We showed up over 15 minutes before closing and they tried to not let us in the doors and wouldn't let anyone in after us. We knew what we wanted and just went for that one thing. They also hid in the back almost the entire time we were in the store and we had to open the door to let ourselves out of the locked front door with 10 more minutes left until closing with them no where to be seen.

They are the absolute worst! Any other pharmacy would be better than this one. They never answer the phone, they have no idea what customer service is and they mess up my prescriptions every. single. month. How is it possible to never get anything right? If my insurance didn’t make me come here I would have switched pharmacies years ago.

My aunt went to the CVS pharmacy to get a flu shot. The pharmacist suggested she also get two additional shots in the same arm on the same day.My aunt took her advice, but that was a mistake.My aunt ended up developing a severe reaction in her arm. She had to go to the doctor and they had to prescribe steroids to treat her inflammation.The service at this particular pharmacy has been very disappointing. We have decided to take our prescriptions and services elsewhere.

This CVS has the absolute worst customer service. I am unsure if its the people who work there or the system itself. Three times they have not received an antibiotic called in by my provider. Its their computer system thats losing it. Also, you can never get through on the phone when you need talk to someone.

Update:7/10/23, Switching pharmacies. Problems have continued to occur when a specific pharmacist is on duty. Prescriptions get lost or are being refused to fill without extra verification from the doctor. Meds that are due to be refilled are being denied even though they're not early. I have been going to this CVS for at least 5 yrs and haven't had any problems until this new pharmacist arrived a few months ago. I know longer trust anything when he's on duty.Pharmacy staff is great and works as fast as they can but they are also incredibly busy all the time so keep that in mind. I've been having a lot of problems lately with medications being questioned/filled by one pharmacist when there's never been a problem before. So I try to always go when Pharmacist Alani is on duty instead because she's always been friendly and professional. As long as you're following your med guidelines she's able to fix/handle any unnecessary problems that are out of your control.

If want to ever feel not listened too this pharmacy will do the trick. I called and was told I had zero refill and that they where reaching out to my doctor. I find the my bottle that clearly states that I have 3 and is not expired. I call back. Person doesn't want to hear anything I'm saying. States they can't help me because they are going to lunch and they'll call back. Been going here for 10 years and I'm now done.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy that I’ve ever had to use. I say had to use because of insurance requirements. I’m only reviewing the pharmacy not the store itself. The pharmacists are okay as far as how they treat customers however there’s a few that couldn’t care less about the customers and what they need. There’s a few techs that are kind and helpful but the overall experience is not good. I’ve had medication that they refused to fill when I needed it. I’ve spent hours and hours on hold waiting to find out the status of a prescription. My son went to an urgent care facility with what was diagnosed as kidney stones and left with two prescriptions that needed to be filled right away. The personnel of the pharmacy told him that they weren’t going to fill his prescriptions (there was 30 minutes before they closed) today it’d be tomorrow. He was in pretty significant pain and they refused to fill his prescriptions. He did go to the CVS on Potranco and they had his prescriptions filled in 15 minutes. This is a horrendous way to run a pharmacy. There’s many other things that they’ve done that makes this pharmacy a total disaster to work with. They act as if they’re just too good to deal with you. There’s an employee that enters all your insurance information etc that is the rudest, most hateful young man I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve also caught them filling the prescriptions with the wrong medication. Fortunately I caught it before anyone took the wrong medication. I have to count the medication pills to make sure we aren’t slighted any. They also refill prescriptions that I’ve told them over and over that we aren’t taking anymore. One prescription for my son was refilled four times in one month. They refilled two different strengths of the medication and all charged to the insurance. This pharmacy cares about the money not the customer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, SUGGEST ETC THAT YOU THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU USE THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A PHARMACY. You could possibly be putting your health in danger.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced and deserves less than 1 star. I called just to check if a prescription had been received after my doctors appointment. After about 18 minutes on hold I drove to the pharmacy and they stated I should call my provider because they did not have any prescriptions for me. No problem! I call my doctor who says they have confirmation that the prescription was sent an hour prior. I called the pharmacy back and after 5 people answering, asking for my name or date of birth, then placing me on hold (3 of them without telling me they were placing me on hold) I finally spoke to someone and explained my situation. She placed me on hold and then hung up on me after I had been holding 44 minutes. I called back 2 more times and was hung up on both times after holding longer than 20 minutes each time. I spent over an hour on the phone just to verify if a prescription was received. Ultimately I just called my doctor and asked them to send the prescription again to a different pharmacy. I am amazed at the lack of concern or considerstion for customers and how horrible this pharmacy is!

When I walked into the appointment, I asked them to check my parents in and to move my appointment to today instead of Tuesday since I am scheduled to work. I let them know multiple times that this was my booster shot and that I was ready for it since it has been more than 6 months since my last one. The pharmacist told me that it was fine and that she would be able to put it. We waited over an hour, when they finally came out to put the vaccine, she told me that my parents name didn’t pop up because I never checked them in. Then, she told me that she couldn’t give me the vaccine because I was scheduled for Tuesday. I told her that she herself told me that it was okay to get it today and she told me to go the drop-off to get my appointment for Tuesday cancelled. When I went to the drop off, they said they couldn’t do anything about it and that I would have to call, but didn’t give me a phone number or anything. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. After over an hour wait, I still was unable to receive my booster shot. I do not recommend getting your COVID vaccine here.

Never had a smooth experience with this cvs… drivethru will randomly close and it is always a long wait for medications. Currently been on hold for over 25 minutes just trying to call the pharmacy to check on my prescription status…. Its consistently problematic. I never had a single bad experience at the multitude of Walgreens I went to with my prior insurance but have a bad time every single time here.

Called three times today. First time, was on hold for 30 min, no one ever answered the phone. Second time, was on hold for 11 min, some picked up and then hung up the phone without ever speaking to me. Third time, was on hold for 29 min, no one ever answered the phone. Ridiculous!
