The location is small, but the savings are huge. All of the fruits and vegetables are ready to use. I went in for some strawberries and grapes and left with a lot more, but it will be consumed quickly. The store is very organized and there is always someone walking around asking if you need help and offering you better deals, which is how I walked out with a case of grapes for $12. I spent about $50, but at a grocery store this would have cost me double or even triple. They also have drinks and snacks inside you can purchase. It’s a cool little spot with great prices.

It's a small market for fruits and vegetables that from what I've seen are always fresh. The prices have always been reasonable. They take either cash or card. And the Staff has always been very polite. There's plenty of parking each time that we've gone there.

I love stopping by chico boys because they always have a great selection of fruits and vegetables. The prices and good and the produce is fresh. Love that you can get a fresh fruit cup made right in front of you. Customer service is great. You are greeted with genuine small and conversation. You can't find many places like this in San Antonio. Support local when you want excellent fruits and veggies! You won't be disappointed

Prices are changing! It used to have great prices, NOW some items the price is higher than HEB stores, few fruits have good deal! Store is clean! But No access to the bathrooms, however stuff members can use the bathroom, but NOt the customers!...it seems stuff members are always changing...MmmNot excited to go there anymore!

This small business provides fresh produce at a low price. They offer minimal packaging for those Earth conscious people. Remember a plastic bag to hold your produce takes 20 years to decompose. So bring your reusable bags and fill up on all types of produce. This store typically has some unique items you wouldn't normally find such as rainbow carrots, donut peaches, or purple potatoes. There are also lots of lovely murals to explore in this area. Enjoy and happy cooking!

Great place to get fresh fruit and produce in Southtown. There's several produce places in the, but Chico's is my favorite. All the produce is fresh and much cheaper than the large grocery stores. When the produce is becoming dated or they have a large surplus, they are greatly discounted for quick sale. In the back, they have a small counter to order fresh fruit cups, fruit trays, aguas frescas, paletas, fresas con crema, etc...My two favorite things to order are the Fresas con crema and the chili powder I use for the fresh fruit. When I want the fruit now, I order the small fruit cups and they give you some chili powder to eat on the road. I also keep the large chili powder at home when I buy the larger quantities of fruit. I don't know what makes this chili powder different than others, but it's definitely better than most. The fresas con crema is another great fruit dessert to go. They really pile on the strawberries with the cream and topped by some whip cream. The strawberries are always fresh and their flavor stands out without being overwhelmed by the crema. The crema is sweet, but not overly sweet. It complements the strawberries well.

Really affordable priced fruit!! They even had some seasonal fruit and grinded seasonings. I must’ve got there early because I was gonna order agua frescas from the stand inside but they only had lemonade. It was so good though I didn’t mind 😊 definitely recommend stopping by! This is what I got for $39. Also if prices are higher than competitors, they are willing to price match. Support local businesses!

So many affordable options! I originally just went to get strawberries because they were about half the price of Walmart's.Ended up buying 2lbs of strawberry, 6 oranges, 3lbs of pears, 2 sumo tangerines, 6 apples, 5lbs russet potatoes, 2 avocados, parsley, and 3 grapefruits for $20!

Some things were good prices...bell peppers and small avocados....they had the cutest little teeny tiny mandarins. and i got cauliflower on sale for only 99 cents...that was great....not a very big market and some of the produce looked old....but i appreciate the prices of the items i got....added my receipt.

Great place to shop if you love fruits and veggies! They have a decent variety and the prices are significantly lower on a lot of the produce compared to H-E-B or other large stores. Everything looked fresh and delicious! We will definitely be regulars here.

I haven't been over here in a few years but I'm glad to see that they are still holding up during the pandemic. They always have great prices on fresh fruit and vegetables. Its always great to get out and help the small businesses succeed and keep the tradition going.

I used to love this place, and I am amazed that it still gets these high reviews. Prices double HEB or Walmart, fruits and vegetables are past their freshest life. I went today and Cantaloupe’s were $3.49 and most were soft & squishy. Bananas were either overripe & black or hard & green. Never again will I visit

Stays a great stop to pick up fresh produce for a lot less than the grocery store.We've been going here for close to 20 years and like to stop by whenever we are beat to help fill out our fridge with price for less than half what we'd pay at the store. Nothing crazy, it's just straight from the distribution warehouse across the street. Always a great visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I love this place, so much I drive all the way from Alamo Ranch to buy inexpensive produce my only complaint is that the fruit and vegetables do not last very long in the refrigerator or on the countertop. They rot pretty quickly. I attribute that to the fact that part produce purchased at H-E-B most likely has a lot of coatings on it five stars all day long.

The produce is as fresh as it gets. Most items are priced close HEB pricing or a little less, but each time I visit, I find several items priced WAY below what you'd ever pay elsewhere. If you know produce prices, you'll definitely come out a winner. The staff is super friendly. Plentiful parking.

We went for fruit cups today and the lady in the back was so rude and shouted that they had no fruit. This is my third encounter with her rude attitude. The last 2 times I overlooked it as her maybe not feeling well or having a bad day. Obviously she does not like her job. I have observed her rudeness with customers on several different occasions. She really needs customer service training or you are gonna lose customers if you haven't already. I always feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I have to walk to the back and order fruit cups or fruit trays if none are available inthe front. She is not friendly at all and I feel like a 6 year old when I have to speak to her and I am 71! The rest of the staff is Always very nice!

Chico Boys is the most dependable place I have ever ran into! They had excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend to all of my friends and neighbors! I came outside and my car was overheating and they happily gave me a gallon of water to help me out! That made my entire week the consideration and empathy they have here for one another! I love Chicho Boys. I bought some raspberries, and blackberries for an Easter dessert 😋 I also bought red and black grapes, so sweet and yummy!! I love their prices. The berries went on sale just in time!! Thank u Chicho Boys!! Def a go to place

Went for the first time today. Decided on getting 2 large fruit trays for my daughters birthday. The women in the back were so helpful. I got exactly what I wanted and it’s perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back
