Absolutely the most unprofessional move I have ever been a part of. Movers are not professional. They begged for free things during the move, they forgot items, they broke items, and took every advantage of the situation. I have no real idea how many of our goods ended up actually getting packed and how many may have walked out the door. Thousands of dollars in damages when unpacked and the insurance company is even more unprofessional. DO NOT MOVE with this company.

From start to finish, Berger Allied was as thorough and professional as all of the positive reviews indicated they would be. It was harder than I thought to find a dependable moving company. I wanted to go with a local branch of a national company, and after calling a handful of places and reading many reviews, I came across Berger Allied. Read about how great Mike Cruz was. Read about how great Julie Zavala was. Long story short, all of it came true. Mike was the man on the spot at the beginning; Julie coordinated everything leading up to the move out and move in. Hector and his crew handled the move itself seamlessly. We've completely unpacked, and literally nothing was misplaced or broken. Rather impressive. Julie and Michael are just nothing short of customer service extraordinaire. I’ve used Allied before, but this is the first time I had to coordinate everything myself - we previously used Allied but my company used a 3rd party relocation company.Michael and Julie were just amazing and with me every step of the way. I should’ve known this would be the move from hell when the movers showed up at 6:30 am reeking of marijuana. They arrived with a partially full truck which resulted in all my household goods not fitting on the truck for a cross country move. They showed back up at 8 pm to pack the rest of my items. When they finally delivered my items in Colorado from Texas it took 4 different trips on 4 trucks to deliver a half truck worth of stuff. Not only were several items damaged things were missing. They also showed up with another family’s belongings. Julie was very unprofessional and avoided calls like the plague. The only time she was on top of things was when she wanted payment for undelivered items. Eventually 3+ weeks after my household items were loaded on a truck they arrived, weeks after the promised date. I’m still trying to get compensated for thousands of dollars in damaged items. This doesn’t include the walls and door frames they damaged bringing my belongings into my new house. I wouldn’t refer Berger to my worst enemy. No one should have to deal with this. The only reason they received a 1 star review is because 0 stars was not an option. Please save your money and heartache and go with anyone else. I feel I would’ve been better off paying homeless people to move my stuff. Hands down the worst move by the worst moving company ever!!!!

We had a great experience with our move from Texas to Nebraska. The team called to coordinate everything and walk us through what to expect. They were also the best price. They delivered with amazing service. The loading team and unloading team were prompt and took great care of all our boxes, furniture and odd items. They communicated on a regular basis too. Such a great experience! I was ready for horror stories I had read reviews about from a number of different moving companies to come true. Couldn’t have been happier with our Allied Berger team during our move from TX to AR. Michael came out to estimate our move and was the only one out of 6 companies (both van lines and private movers) to feel the weight of our boxes. I felt like he truly understood the weight of our shipment which made me feel like our estimate was fair. He also spent time on the phone with me answering a number of questions I had after I read through the packet of very helpful info he gave me (only company to do this too). Julie was our move coordinator and responded promptly to emails and called to check-in after each phase of the move. She was very helpful. Ofelia was our mover and she and her team were quick, careful, and efficient. They worked hard and seemed to really care about their work and the service they delivered. This particular team of Allied Berger was wonderful and we would use them again for an interstate move.

The crew that loaded me was very professional and thorough. I was extremely pleased with the job they did. They were so awesome, I asked for them when my shipment was coming out of storage and being delivered in Arkansas. They went over and beyond to make my move a pleasant experience. No words could express how wonderful they were and how much I appreciate everything they did. After moving with my military husband for 27 years, this was the best move I ever had.

Moving can be very stressful but when my wife and I selected Berger Allied they put our minds at ease. Working with Mike, our relocation specialist and Julie, our move coordinator could not have gone better. They were both extremely professional and they clearly communicated everything we needed to know about our move. The team coordinating and executing my move was well organized, methodical, and respectful of my family's belongings--and we had a lot! I was informed by Julie, the move coordinator what to expect and she would follow up to make sure everyone was where they needed to be and that I was satisfied. Ophelia and her packing/moving crew were careful and methodical in staging and moving our contents--both out of the house, and into our new house.
