I often go here to get the feed for my chickens. They always have feed in stock - Pellets and crumbles plus crushed oyster shells. They also have mealworms. They have other pet items but not a great stock of cat litter options. I like to go here to support our local feed store. They are the closest inside of 410. Someone is always available to assist loading the feed as well which is super helpful.

Old school feed store buy by the pound. All basic items you need for all your pets. I usually stop by about every two weeks. The flea pills are great and highly recommend.

Expensive, manager not exceptionally friendly and don't ask for a favor for a discounted open bag of feed or anything like that for livestock. Other than that they're great. Maybe I'm just used to country feed stores.

I love to feed my birds and would buy the free at HEB but then my wife drove by the feed store and said we should go and see the prices to compare..well it's a lot cheaper then heb(sorry heb) and the atmosphere and workers are so nice definitely a customer for always

I bought a big heating lamp and a bulb for under 30 dollars, which is a lot cheaper than I've seen anywhere else. (I have yet to try it out yet though) I only gave it 4 stars because it's kinda sketchy so it's hard to feel safe but other than that I'd definitely recommend this place.

PRICE GOUGING. A box of ivermectin 1.87% costs less than $10. This place sells it for $16.50. I usually get my supplies elsewhere but decided to give this local business my money. Highway robbery is a good deterrent.

Love this place because when your broke and only can afford a few dollars to feed your dog not a problem here you buy by the pound .On top of it there very helpful need a hand out bag to heavy no matter how heavy they will help lol

Great customer service, right down to their friendly dog who greets you at the door when you walk in.I went in to buy some chicken feed—the worker answered my questions and was very knowledgeable about the different types of chicken food they had.It's good to know that there is an agriculture store like this actually, in town. Most stores that sell these types of items you have to drive out of town for.Will definitely be coming back! 👍🏼

I recommend this place one they're very nostalgic mean that they've been in business for so long. And with a pandemic going on help and support small local businesses. They also have things that you would normally not find in your regular large pet stores. I was looking for hay and you can buy it there. And they're able to pretty much fine needs for all animals / pets that you own.

I don't recommend it here. I called in asking if they had horse pellet bedding and how much it would cost and the man over the phone told me it was 10 dollars (I usually buy it for 7 elsewhere). I go in to make the purchase a little while later and they jumped the price up to 14, I was in a rush and really needed the bedding that day so I didn't have time to dispute the charge so I just took it as is. There's so many other great and CHEAPER feed stores in the San Antonio area, I just came here out of convenience but I definitely won't be doing that again.
