My friend and I were cussed out and threatened by the cashier within a few seconds of bringing our drinks to the counter — We were here midday April 1, and one gentleman in the store was exceptionally kind. We bought two $1 large slurpies. We returned late at night on April 2. We got two $1 large slurpies, and waited in line. As I got to the counter, I asked to put in my rewards to get the $1 deal. He had an aggressive tone, but I didn't notice it at first — it was late after all. After that, he said the total would be the same. Before I said five words in explanation (the drinks were the right size) the employee raised his voice and said "if you're not going to pay, get the hell out of my store." I turned around and started to walk away as he began leaning forward, pointing, and yelling, threatening us with F-bombs to direct us to never go there again. I made sure not to say anything because he appeared to be mentally unstable. He clearly was not scared of being fired — perhaps he was the owner. We walked out as quickly as we could.We ended up going to another 7-11 near the interstate (with many more flavors available). We explained the story to the clerk there, and he was shocked. He couldn't think of a reason why it would have happened. We successfully purchased two $1 large slurpies at this location.

They are currently under new pump construction but the young lady that works second shift is very personable and helpful. And even though there can be rough crowds there she is amazing in the way she handles things calmly. Very intelligent caring individual. Definitely should be a manager her people skills are top notch

Went in there today, I usually go to get a drink n snack cuz I’m close by. The cashier was a dude I’ve never seen before, over charged me big time. Was too shy to say anything but whoever did that isn’t sneaky. A big gulp is not a large iced coffee. My dad says I should call corporate but idk if anything will be done so I’m just warning people!!! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the other employees that works there are nice and it’s usually pretty clean. Too bad this one dude is literally stealing from people.

2 things1. They need security or police there. It's rare to go to this store and have a regular trip where nothing shady is happening.2. If you're going to close every night, then post the hour you're closing. I get that it's hard to restock, espescially with safety issues, but as the only convenience store open late, it wastes customers time.

I have walked in here many times. They do try a good job in keeping everything clean. Ive never had an issue with their staff as well. It is on a corner with a bus station so it does cause a small line sometimes. Many options for food and cold drinks, beer, bags of ice, phone chargers (ive had to buy one here in the past), atm in the back, and so on. For a convenience store downtown, I think it is fairly clean and well kept. So thats why I give them a 4 out of 5.

Love this place! So close to our apartment and the staff is amazing they always ask about how our baby is doing and are very nice. The owner takes pride in his store and there is no nonsense tolerated which places have to be in this part of town! NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS and bags have to be left at the front.

2 stars, only.The coffeemaker machines FOR SINGLE CUP espresso or brew coffee drinks have been in one way or another useless each time i went into this store to get a coffee drink.(This critique is about machines that produce a single hot cup of coffee at a time, not the usual brewed coffee thermos which are a good buy there.)Otherwise, i suppose this store sells good refrigerated, canned, sodas and drinks. Problem is: i don't drink those High-Fructose Corn Syrup concoctions. And that's why this store located very near City Hall gets so many Homeless people, some of which are well known thieves. Thieves raise the prices for the customers.Oh! Don't buy the pizza. The picture in the advertisement looks fantastic, with lots of cheese. But, if you look at the pizza inside the warmer, you'll notice it comes with hardly ANY cheese!! Is this expert marketing? Or is it lying...The clerks are all very very nice and apologetic. But that's not what I went 4 times there to buy, in hot weather conditions.7/11 used to be a great trademark. Now they have much competition. The coffee is good at this location, if only they could keep the fancy espresso machine ready for service. Location, location, location is what keeps this store going... But, pricy. A Dr.Pepper for $3.75? (And, where would you park your car in Downtown?)

I'm not sure but I thought all 7-11 stores are open 24 hrs per day. I ordered through the 7Now app and the store received my order, had to make some changes since items were not available and tried setting up delivery twice through Uber, and then twice with Doordash. The 4th and final delivery driver finally delivered my order but it took 1 1/2 hrs to receive it. The last driver driver that the store set up told me when he dropped off my order the location the order went to does not open until 5am....???? And my order was finally picked up and delivered to me prior to 5am. None is this makes any sense to me.

Rude, lazy, and nasty worker here at this establishment on the date of 9/14/23 at 4:40 pm.She was eating at the register while sitting down and taking transactions.How unsanitary and unprofessional.She was an old, raunchy, light skinned woman, easily in her 50s.This individual needs to be terminated and / or reprimanded.

We used Active Menus to deliver what we wanted to our hotel since we didn’t want to go back out again after a long day and it arrived very quickly! Driver called when he was at the door since we weren’t expecting him to be there so soon which was great!

First off the owner needs to hire better people with customer service because the chola attitude needs to go. There is a way to respectfully decline a customer on a request you can't handle just don't rudely say I CAN'T DO THAT with a fast pace rude tone. This location needs new employees and a better approach to things.

I'm going to state I never had a problem going to this store but in the passed 9 months I stopped going to this location frequently being that the girl cashier asked the guy how much does he want to sale my napkins for he stated 5$ and I was frantic so not professional any other store would be $3or less and look alot better than what I was buying, I would think inventory and marketing would be top of the line completely, , I'm not buying that I bought my other stuff for my outing and took off changed me on my customer. Today I happened to be thirsty I bought a Coca-Cola I was charged $3.25 cents for a 20oz soda I won't be going there or ordering anymore just awful

I give this place 5 stars for the following reasons: The employee's are extremely nice and the place is very clean.In the morning times I get off from my job, I will come over here for there coffee ( it is hot and fresh all the time). They make really good coffee here. And the prices are very responsible. Great place to stop at before getting bus back home. ( Keep up the great work).

Terrible customer service. My friend and I were going to buy alcohol but were informed that we could not purchase it after midnight. We were ok with that and were just waiting for our Uber inside since it was cold outside. When we went near the wine and were literally talking about a specific wine that my friends old job used to sell, the employee yelled at us to get away from the wine and repeatedly told us that we cannot buy it so we need to step away from it. This was completely unnecessary. It is not a crime to stand near wine and talk about the different brands! Even if we wanted to buy it, he could not sell it to us and we cannot force him to sell it to us, so I don’t understand why he was so incredibly rude. I truly feel he felt like he felt that he was on his high horse and talked to us that way because we are women.

I guess as the only place open at night downtown you don’t have to try. This place doesn’t honor sales, is a bit organized and do to the traffic can be a bit unwelcoming.

I'm a stickler for quality customer service but have no tolerance for ignorant workers. I will never recommend an African American to visit this location due to the disrespect and discrimination from workers there. We visited the location today and Estrella the cashier was very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. Her manager, Liz was no better. Their behavior was very unacceptable and both should be reprimanded. If you see 2 cashiers checking out...would you think it's 1 or 2 lines? Also...there no uniformed line and you got behind a customer at 1 of the registers. No one stated you're skipping. Would you think you've done anything wrong to be spoken to inappropriate by a 7/11 cashier? More to come for this story....

I love this place. Yes, there are all types in the area, but the workers in the early morning are helpful and polite. They have great deals on simple hot food (i.e., two slices of pizza and a Big Gulp for $2.91 including taxes). Mid-day, the place is usually somewhat crowded, so expect a line -- though it usually moves pretty quickly. The workers keep the place clean and organized, so that's a definite plus considering the steady stream of people moving through the place.

Regardless of what anyone says, this is not how you treat people. This is poor customer service, that 7/11 employee should be fired for this! And that guy doesn’t even get paid enough to do that so what blew his head up to need to do that?? An incident like this creates violence and I don’t see the customer inviting any physical violence. And let’s think about the customers who are walking into this? Who is the manager or owner of this store??? Do better!

The ladies in that store do not wear name tags and she specifically told me that I had to settle for the old 🍕 pizza.Instead of offering customer service..Also, its not the first time she done that.She shouldnt work at such a high profile location like that.You have tourist coming from all over not to offer customer service!The girls name is supposes to be Laura.

The worst service ever, I ordered from this shop through door dash water and almonds, the water case ease opened and taped one of the bottles was leaking, the almonds were dried out and old.When I called the shop he hung up on me.It costed me 19.26$ it was a waste.

It's a great location. 7-11 has a little of everything at reasonable prices. Plus unique items you can only find there. I would get 2-3 wild blueberry muffins and a tea on my way to class every morning.

HR need to put more attention to the people they're hiring! The other night the attendant was talking c**p to a senior just because he was paying with a lone star card, and the "lady" usually on night shift is always giving the attitude to the customers, I ASKED PALL MALL 100'S SHE ASKED WHAT KIND? I SAID SILVER AND SHE GAVE ME RED AND SHE THREW THEM ON THE COUNTER!!! I LEFT THE STORE AND SHE WAS STILL TALKING S**T!!!

My husband and I frequent the Drury Plaza downtown. This 711 is two blocks away from our hotel and is quite a lifesaver. You can get snacks, tylenol, drinks, lottery tickets and cash from the ATM machine.
