When I need a specific item, they generally have it or something close to it here. They don't have as exciting of an animal selection here as they do at the local Petco, in my experience. Although, my wife has pointed out they seem to have cats more often here than they do at Petco. Either way, I'm not picking up a new pet every time I go to the pet store, thankfully. So, this is a solid place to visit for your pets needs.

My son wanted to look at some cats while in Petsmart however an individual by the name "Samo" decided he didn't like my son or myself and would not allow us to view the cats or go into the room with the cats. I was trying to read the sign to figure out how to let my son go into the room when "Samo" stepped outside and became confrontational with both my son and myself. Samo wouldn't tell me how we could view the cats that are for adoption he simply denied anything to my son as he wanted to look for a cat to adopt. I asked for his name which he tried to mask by making it difficult to understand him I asked if he could spell it for me because I couldn't hear him he became rather hostile so I asked if he worked for Petsmart which he said he did but then he quickly recanted that when I ask to speak to his boss. I was able to read the sign for how my son could have viewed the cats while at Petsmart and it was a simple as myself or my wife go into the petting room with him (without our dog). However Samo didn't even afford my son the opportunity of this. My son left extremely sad and upset. All of this seemed to have been caused by some prejudice that Samo held towardsmy son and myself. This experience makes me not want to support Critter Shack nor Petsmart because how Samo made my son feel. My son walked in feeling great because he was wanting to help aid in the rescue of a car or kitten but almost immediately he felt terrible because of Samo. My son still doesn't understand why he was denied this opportunity.

My wife and I went to adopt a cat and the adoption assistant was very rude and basically didn’t want us to adopt the cat we wanted. I tried to show him my information and he wouldn’t even bring out the adoption forms for me to sign only because I’m not from San Angelo

Groomers are great but the associates are why you should use someone else. Wouldn’t apply the advertised discount and wouldn’t let us tip our groomer. The keyboard broke and we were first in line and somehow ended up behind the 8 people behind us. Curt and unknowledgeable.

This is the place I go once or twice a month to get my animals food and supplies. I have cats and birds. The bird toy selection is very sparse so I have to get those elsewhere. The cat food and cat supplies is very well-stocked and I never have a problem finding what I need or want. The employees are not always friendly Or helpful.

This is really an incredible place to shop for your animal friend. It has a large selection of anything you may need for your pet and has friendly staff.

It is the only store in town that carries the food we need for our dogs. Plus one of the dogs loves going there. He always picks out his own toy then does not let go until he gets home with it. Most of the employees there know him by name and if he does not go with us they ask about him.

Price keeps going up and up. There should be a better rate or discount rate for 2 or more dogs for grooming. Due to how many dogs need a home

This store has a wide variety of critters and everything that you could possibly need, from collars and leashes to little outfits and booties! They also have pet grooming so if you don't feel like trying to give them a bath or trim their nails bring them in and they'll do it for you!

They have quite a few unique brands of cat food and some are greatly discounted. I was very impressed with the variety and selection of wet food they offered for cats as well as the sales they had on toys for them. I didn't look around for any other pet and the clearance food was very strange being pumpkin flavored chicken but you never know what your animal might like. Ours likes to lick the gravy out of food and leave the meat, wondering how many other people have this problem?

Lots of fun pet related stuff. My wife and I go there to look at the cats. They have a great mix of things ranging from pet food to aquarium supplies. It is a great place to just wander around looking at all the different stuff. They welcome pets, too.

The groomer for my friends's dog did a marvelous job and...was very understanding about my time restrictions related to picking her up. Christen(sp) was so kind and accommodating. What a compassionate young lady! 2 of my friends always have her groom their doggies and they...and the pups love her. Thank you so very much for helping me this Thursday (May 18th).

I just love PetSmart in general because of the variety and quality of their products but everyone that works at this location is always so friendly and it seems very genuine. When I went on this particular day every employee I came across was smiling, conversing with other customers and it was just a really nice environment. Getting to take my big guy along for the ride is just the icing on the cake.
