I like this store, they have a lot of things for sale that we enjoy. The tortillas are great, only eclipsed by the local bakeries. The staff are very nice. The restroom is scary, but I'm glad they have one. Things have changed a bit. I know that the powers in charge have weakened our purchasing power, but please be honest. This last carton of "large" Food Club eggs only qualifies as small. Small eggs are fine, just sell them that way. In the photo is a Food Club carton of "large" eggs next to a carton of large eggs purchased from another store. Please fix this.

Employee named Dana, much older lady in her 60-70’s. Was unbelievably rude. Was not interested in her job or helping others. Please food king watch your cameras and just see how this lady talks to customers! This is not rite at all. Hire people who love what they do. Do better food king.

While the advertised prices are low they also offer brands and items other stores don't have. A great plus is the helpful staff. Update: with their new app you can get some freebies and coupons.Mostly self check, wish there were more cashier's.

I was going through the produce section and noticed that some bags of potatoes were rotten and then when I looked at the spring onion, there were some with mold. Not sure if the produce is being rotated or just piled up on top of each other but if it's that noticeable then others will notice too. No one wants to waste food but neither do we want spoiled food when it should be fresh. This store and Wal-Mart are where we buy are groceries so just a heads up. Gracias 🙏

I swear i need to stop being so trustworthy that the Food King Partners pay attention to their dairy section and start checking expirations better. I usually do but I was on a time crunch and didn't check the expiration on the small milk I bought.. and it expired 2days ago.. today is the 1st and the milks expiration is on the 29th of Sept.. last time I almost purchased a creamer that had been expired for weeks all of that brand Had been actually.. and I discreetly told an employee because as someone that works as a stocker at a bigger grocery store here in town that's just not acceptable... didn't even bother to try to take it back it was less than $2 and I was already frustrated. I think the employees need to have a refresher on stocking and checking out of dates.

I go here all the time because it’s quite cheap and right by my house, but be warned you will probably get at least a few thing moldy and out of date. Products aren’t even full 20% of the time and you can tell because the sodas next to each other are all different. I bought super glue and it was almost completely empty so I went back inside with my time stamped receipt and asked to switch it out. The manager then looked me in the face and told me I had clearly used it and was trying to steal and she had never seen me in her life. Sadly I won’t be back here due to how I was treated and defamed. If you can deal with bad customer service and low quality products you’ll love this place.

really clean, well organized, and well stocked grocery store, some things are greatly reduced in price over the other groceries in the area, it is 99%self-checkout and that is fine with me as I have been doing that in DFW for 15yrs! Great Store!

There was a really rude lady watching self checkout tonight. I understand the concept of her job is to watch self checkout but that doesn’t mean you have to breathe down my neck. i usually go here to shop. she even went through what i scanned, and found nothing that wasn’t scanned. it was just rude how she was all up in my bubble.

I went and bought a four loko. It was $2.27, i went thru self check out and total came up to $2.70. it showed the $2.27 price and $.21 in tax. I ask the attendant about it.there was an obvious $.22 overcharge i thought. Then she explained they charge an extra 10% for trucking and shelving. She pointed to a very small sign, just above eye level that is so small you really cant read it. This blows me away. I honestly didnt mind that much because the price was still a good price, i just didnt appreciate the fact that tgey just do it and it showed no explanation on the self check out screen.

Itsober priced unless for the mist part. They have amazing deals yet sum times to me its notbworth it. Yes its a loaf of bread at. 50 but its hard and has started to loose good flavor. Lovely staff though

I don't know why I keep forgetting that it's food King not food Lion or Rose but I like going there they have nice desserts fresh tortillas vegetables are awesome you go around the meat department I mean you get good specials I mean yeah prices are high everywhere but check it out good place to get you a nice kosher meal salad you name it, food King you'll love it

Easy to get in & out, but be prepared to self checkout as I haven't seem any open checkout lanes with anactualcashier. Decent Selection of foods, I like the combo meat packages they Save time having by not having to shop for all the Sides & fixings. Produce and bakery goods have good Selections as well.

I like this little store. Seems to be the closest place to shop for me. Would like to have an HEB near the base. Hate to drive towards the mall for everything. This city seems focused on keeping business towards that side of town. So downtown is better for my store to go shopping at. Wal Mart is to far for me to care about. So Food King is my main store for those home steaks, beer, and snacks that my family depends and loves. 98% of my food is from here. The rest is at dollar general. Best prices in town and often on par with HEB. Only thing missing is the sushi bar.
