I went in close to closing time. All I needed was a hot glue gun. There were no small one in the craft area , however I remembered seeing some on an end cap. I was correct and grabbed it. There were no mini glue sticks extra with it or on the end cap so I returned to the craft area where there were none either. Across from the counter are discounted Valentine's so I stopped to see. It took me seconds. I went to the counter where the two male employees were chatting and after the short long-haired guy finished what he was telling the taller one he looked at his register and said "OH, sorry it's 1 minute past 10pn we are closed. I said what do you mean I have a $3 item you can't ring me up because it is 1 minute past? He told me yes that is because their computers/register.automatically. I'm not sure if he was lying to me or not. If he wasn't to me than I believe Dollar General should reevaluate this procedure. If there had been a few people in line and I was at the end of it and this occurred I would have been more upset than I was. Yes I was upset because I was seconds past 10pm.

First DG I have been to that didnt have the isles over crowded with boxes for stocking. It wasn't as cluttered as most DG stores I've been in. But had to wait almost 10 minutes for an employee to come to register to cash me out.

Always very friendly. Helpful if needed. Store is extremely clean. I like this store, find myself using it frequently unless I need fresh meats and vegetables, which they don't carry. Anything else, I use this particular Dollar General.

It is July 23rd 10 till 9 when into your store for some quick shopping and there was at least five people in there with no mask the person running the register did not inform them about anything they were just walking around doing whatever they wanted touching everything getting everything

What I kinda like about the chain is that each store has different inventory. I get them confused with Family Dollar because they are very similar. The name makes you feel like you are gonna save but that is actually the dollar tree lol. Most stuff is really more expensive than at Walmart or HEB. But they are much closer since Walmarts like to post up at the ends of towns.

I was in line to check out, with a full basket and a new guy was on the register while another was standing there talking. 3 people ahead of me and they say our registers have shut down, we're sorry but we are closed! Why the heck wasn't he on the other register trying to help the rest of us check out?! What s waste of time!

Poor staff . The guy rang up the wrong ciggerettes on my debit card and when he remixed it was his fault he still said the store has a no refund on tobacco. That wasn't good considering it was your packs.

Dollar general provides me with what I need at a good price and it is walking distance for me. Staff is always friendly and they usually have the things I'm looking for.

Dollar general was good these dollar stores and all of them are a nice break from the big grocery stores and their seems to be one on every corner anyway i like the convenience staff was very friendly too... cheers

Go here for the Diet Dr. Pepper. Still sad that the Pepsi guy refuses to bring diet cherry Dr. Pepper, even though it outsold diet Pepsi diet mt dew and wild cherry Pepsi put together.

This store inperdiculer is the cleanest uncluttered dollar store I have been in. The checkers are polite and very helpful.
