This location is extremely clean, both the dining and restrooms. The food is good and tasty, and the employees are like family away form home who care about making you something to eat and kindly serve you. They take care of everyone and everything, keeping everything stocked, even the hot sauce. Rosanne is a sweet lady who always greets you and it makes you feel good, like a person they see. I always remember to compliment to grill cook because they are behind the scenes and deserve to be recognized for their good, hard work. The food is that good. I recommend this location to anyone, local or passing through.

I have put in multiple complaints about this location and have heard nothing about it. I’ve gone about 3 times and had hair in my food. I haven’t been back since the last time. One of the employees was eating food that was waiting to be bagged for a customer, she also was flipping around her ponytail with no hair net. It was disgusting. No gloves, no hair nets, ridiculous wait, and employees that eat other people’s food. Great job👍🏼

Employees we’re playing and feeding dog ice cream w their hands and when I pulled to the window I was told my ice cream was watery instead of saying the machine didn’t work before ordering

Went inside for two Blizzards.When I got them, they had very little of the flavoring, much less than at other locations.Also never was offered any napkins, nor did the server do the (in)famous Blizzard dip.May be a new location with new layout but service and quality of food was not up to par. Disappointed and won't stop here again.

Very convenient if passing through a need a quick stop or recharge.Large car park, food was OK, staff excellent.Has made me look out for other DQ places on my travels.

We travel through the area often but rarely stop here. I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and humble. Our specific requests were met and with a sweet smile. I spoke to 3 staff members and they all had great dispositions and a look in their eyes like they enjoyed and appreciated their work. I'll definitely be stopping again. Also, the bathrooms were clean and they were busy.

I've been coming here for over 40 years. One of my sisters worked here as a teenager. We went through they drive through but they couldn't understand us so we had to pull to the window. Which would be fine if they had a menu there. We had to pull to the front to wait on a burger.

The kids and me are constantly driving back and forth from San Antonio to Uvalde. This Dairy Queen is by far our favorite. The staff is kind and efficient. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Keep up the good work guys, we’ll definitely be coming back.

I'm a truck driver and Bob tailed in from the rest area to get a bite to eat here. Dining room was closed at 9 and had to call twice to get an answer on the phone. They did still cook for thankfully but I asked for 2 gravy's to go with my meal and they didn't give me any gravy at all. Pretty disappointed as I just can't enjoy DQ chicken strips, fries, and toast without their gravy.

Large crowd of customers (youth camp attendees), but the line went quick and the food came out even faster. Pretty amazed! Wish they were located in San Antonio ... far better than the one I avoid here!

Loved it, even though it was lunch time all employees were, hustling and working together, just like a friendly family atmosphere. They made us feel very comfortable, like they say the first impression when you walk in is very important, Amanda in Castroville Dairy Queen really welcomed us with a smile and was very courteous, polite and helpful. I actually had to go back and let her know, what beautiful impression she is to her customers. May God bless all hard working people out there.

Place is kept very clean and up to date with cleaning procedures due to the unfortunate covid that's going around. I personally got a salad and it was amazing, their crispy chicken salad is slept on and needs to be shown to the world. Very tasty food and fast service, I recommend giving them a try.

Got lunch to-go, one belt buster combo for hubby and a hunger buster Jr combo for me. Very good counter staff, helpful, cheerful and professional. Order came out quickly, and we are on the road. Food was good, satisfying, and really hit the spot!!

This place is great. It's a local staple, and while I don't live in Sabinal, it's a town that much of my extended family has history with, and a place we like to go to for lunch when we get together in this town.In addition to the standard franchise menu, there is a list of Mexican cuisine on the counter, a nice local touch. Staff is always super friendly, home town warm feeling from the folks that work there, oh - and the food is great, too! Came out hot and fresh, decent size portions, take a bite and you can see the steam leaking out of your chicken when you pull it away.Just an all-around great establishment in a town (no offense) that doesn't really have that many choices to eat at. Despite the lack of competition from other franchises, this place is consistently clean (bathrooms too,) and the food is served quickly and you can tell it's fresh to order and hasn't been under a heat lamp for half an hour. I live in a nearby city that has a DQ every few miles in any direction, but this one in Sabinal is better than any of the ones near home.

1 of only 2 chain restaurants in Sabinal that are consistently open week long. DQ is by far the better of the two with polite and good workers.The remodeled DQ is nice, but they removed the old historic photos of the Sabinal area. The restaurant lost a lot of its charm and character in the upgrade (now it's like any boring DQ anywhere).

Probably one of the worst hamburgers we have ever eaten. 5 people in our group and they messed up 2 of the orders. The meals were cold and only about 10 customers inside. The staff was awesome giving them 5 stars.

We visited the Dairy Queen in Sabinal on our way home from Garner. We ate inside and everything was great. Fast and Friendly service and they even took the food right to our table with a smile.

Thr manager very rudely asked me to leave with my Emotional support dog, giving no real reason why I couldn't have her with me. I nearly had a panic attack because of my anxiety (which is why I have an emotional support dog) so I had to sit in the car with my emotional support dog while my family ate inside. There was no signs outside stating dog where not allowed, they even had a sign with dog on a leash! I will never eat here again!

Very good and large banana split.Fries were tasty. I used dq as a meeting place for fellow travelers/ friends there midday. We were going dove hunting.The local group of older fellows were holding court solving all the troubles of the world. However they weren't to busy. They knew where we could get hunting licences at a local ice house.Typical great small town dairy Queen .
