This place is disgusting the ceiling is dirty and messed up and there floors needs extreme cleaning and if I owned this place I would burn it down and rebuild it Again and I stepped on a dead rat next too the coolers and we told the cashier and he was unphased by it he did not care he said he would take care of it but he didn’t.Truly Disgusting

As is typical, boxes, carts and other merchandise blocked shelves and aisles. There was actually 2 clerks behind the register, which rarely happens. They had what I went in for, which again rarely happens. Marked improvement from the last 2 summers. The air was actually working.

Was refused service due to a service animal. It appears that not enough people are aware of the law even though they are supposed to have training on how to handle people with service animals. I went back and spoke to the manager, she was lovely and apologized for my treatment and as far as I'm concerned she rectified the situation. It is why it went from 1 star to 4.. Thank you to the manager, I wish I encountered more like her.

Went to family dollar while visiting my daughter and her family in Rusk Texas. My daughter and I went in the store one night, and it was fine. Pretty clean, organized, and the employees were friendly enough. The next night my wife and I went. It smelled like urine all thru the store. Was awful. Whatever it was, I hope they get rid of it!!!

I really have no complaints as for as the staff, because they can only manage according to the capacity of limitations provided for them, from corporate.I gave it three stars because,the store could stand improvement as for as stocking space & cleaning, because shipments are causing cluttered isles. If I had a personal complaint, it would be, that they rarely answer the phone, but again this is a busy season. 😊May the Lord bless & keep everyone, is my prayer....🙏

This location was horrible. Putrid smell of dead rats! The smell was so strong we could still smell it on our clothes and hair after leaving and we were only inside about 7 minutes. The cashier said they were over ran with large rats and some had died in the ceiling. I know they don't sell prepared foods but I would think that with the grocery items, frozen foods and drinks this would be against health code!! 🐀🤢🤮

Only giving one star because that is as low as I could go. I’m going to hit a couple of different points...•the store is BY FAR the most disorganized store I have ever been to•the isles are ALWAYS cluttered•the employees are ALWAYS on their cellphonesIn February of this year I was needing balloons blown up. The ENTIRE time I was getting the balloons done the store clerk on on her cell phone talking to a friend of hers. I was in the store for at least 20 minutes.Today, 9/20/2020, I was the third person in line. I watched the young lady at the register not only throw items across the counter at two customers, she began cursing. She was cursing at the situation at hand (a loud buzzer would not turn off). The second lady in line went to put her items (which were gift bag supplies) on the counter and the clerk began a CELLPHONE CONVERSATION WITH HER MOTHER. The clerk stayed on the cell phone for the entire interaction with the second lady. I approached the clerk and placed my one item on the counter and she was STILL on the cell phone. Her conversation consisted of why her mother gave/took $75 from her son/sons father. She completed ringing up my items and that was it. I HAD TO RETRIEVE MY OWN RECEIPT! She was not only loud but she was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have worked in customer service and I know this is not the way to act in the general public around customers.Rusk Family Dollar has officially lost my business.

Bought lender dark chocolate noticed after I bought it and it was 2 dollars something wasn't right looks like something white spilled out in it and can't really tell what it is looks in a way like mold

Didn't have receipt and needed to return door knobs that would not work for my trailer house. As long as got item same price or lesser could return. I picked out a pair or wireless headphones. Very satisfied

We went in this store around Christmas and employee was cleaning up dog food opened and scattered by rats. "Big Rats" per employee. We went by this past weekend and found the store closed unfit for human occupation.

This store has to be the nastiest smelling store I’ve ever been in my life. It smells like straight sewage and rotten food. I feel like I’m visiting a retirement center when I walk in there.

The other dallar gentralls have make up but not this one and evry time i go in its dirty the bathroom stinks with rust evry where but the reason i didnt give it one on two stars is becuse it has nail polish and a lot ok cool stuff and other than the rust i love it
