Went in there to buy a little bit of groceries and the creamer I bought is old and the orange juice I bought was old they both have the wrong dates! So that means someone is putting the wrong dates on old products so they can save on buying new products seriously disgusting yall think no one will notice? With all these sicknesses going around you would think they would be more careful with what they put out there never buying from there again.

Just went here this morning. There was a sign on the front door saying that they were closing at 5PM because their AC was broken. I walked in, and saw two employees leaning over something, a bit after I walked by them one spit something onto the floor, I didn't bother hanging around to see what it was, for obvious reasons.After rounding the corner I saw a bunch of bagged potatoes just laying on the floor, I suppose none of the employees felt like cleaning it up. I then went to the frozen foods, and smelled something a bit foul. After reaching the frozen food I came here for, I opened the door, reached for the box and realized the box was wet from condensation, and was clearly MANY hours into thawing out. I put it back, decided to stock up on some drinks instead and went to the checkout.The worker at the checkout clearly didn't want to be there, and I can't blame her for that. After realizing they charged me too much for the drinks, I went back in and told them as much, they told me "That coupon is only good for 3 items." When the advertisement said the limit was "4 bundles or 12 units per customer" nowhere did it even IMPLY a limit of 3.I sure did enjoy going into this dirty place and getting lied to. I hope that extra $6 was worth it, since it was the final straw in making me tell everyone how terrible this store is, good job manager.

The manager leslie is amazing and has always been very helpful. The other employees here are amazing as well. Several months ago my mother had a medical attack emergency and an ambulance had to be called as my mother layed on the floor having a seizure leslie and the other employees stayed calm and composed while waiting for the ambulance and helped to save my mother from what very well may have been a catastrophe. Thank you to these very caring employees.

Everyone was nice except the girl checking us out she couldn't find a bar code and was refusing to sell us a product thankfully another worker came to assist us train your cashier's better

The store looks great after the remodeling. But, there was only one check out lane open. The others were self check out. I personally feel that's bs. People need/want there jobs. If I wanted to work there, I would put in a application. Maybe 1 self check out is ok but not 3.

Staff was helpful & they offer a wide variety of things. Good place for a quick shopping trip for "basic necessities", when you'd rather not run into town. The only slightly negative comment I have is that at the time I was there, it was crowded, but they only had 1 person checking people out. That 1 person was fast, though.

I went in this Dollar General just to buy a birthday card and found the perfect card for a friend. I also found inexpensive garden spikes to go in my friends front yard just as a reminder she wasn't forgotten. If you need a quick purchase this is the store for you.

A wee bit messy but better than family dollar. It seems the cashier doesn't really like her job, she wasn't very friendly. I was able to get Easter cards for the grandbabies.

Pretty much everything you need for a quick stop! Eats Brookshire Brothers in Town fr sure. And forget the Family Dollar here. Always a mess and the smell is unbearable these day's !! So this is the place in Rusk

These stores are really going down hill. I'm sick and tired of one teller working while the other one is on smoke break. Wait 10 minutes to check out for one item. The big draw was supposed to be convenience. What a joke.

Rusk's Dollar General is SOOO much more appealing than Alto's Store, from the cheerful helpfullness of its empliyees all the way to the neatness and cleanliness of every aisle!! I always enjoy my escapades at the Rusk store!! Great job, folks!!!

Sometimes they have what you need. Sometimes they don't. Customer service depends on who is helping you. Nothing is consistent about this store but if you would rather not go to brookshires, this is your best bet.

Waited in line WAY TOO long.The cashier seemed confused & took Way Too long to ring up people in line ahead of me. She made TOO many mistakes and just kept apologising.

I clipped my coupons but didn't buy anything requiring a coupon. I did buy some digital deals, but when I got home, I noticed I did not get my Buy one get one on my $5 toy deal on the yellow dot.

Dollar general thinks about the needs of the community. When I see the box for the elderly it let me know someone hasn't forgotten the elderly at this time of the year.

Please update price changes in your system. A pack of gum rent up $1.10. It was marked $1.00. Also, a bag of paper cups were marked $1.00. They rang up $1.50.
