Don't get sick and have an appointment for one of your animals. I had cancelled my appointment for my birds nail trim due to being put in the hospital and now they are saying they didn't get the cancellation and will no longer see my birds. Whatever I'll find someone better

Been here a few times in the past with the pups and they’ve always been nice. Unfortunately had an emergency this morning with one of my babies. From the front desk to the Dr they were very sweet and compassionate. They helped our Gwen cross the rainbow bridge painlessly, and although it’s not the outcome we were hoping for, we are grateful for their help.

They are absolutely wonderful, they make everyone feel important and welcome. The doctor is skilled and amazing with animals. His staff is highly trained and go the extra mile to make sure you and your fur babies are well taken care of... absolutely the best animal clinic I have ever been to!!

Dr Holcolmb and staff treat our girls like family.Our elder boxer suddenly had a change in personality and physical ability. We took her in, expecting to have to euthanize her. Dr Holcolmb recommended a course of medication that returned her to near her previousl abilities.She is on the mend and back to her happy self.Thank you Cherokee Animal Clinic.

I am very appreciative and thankful with Dr. Holcomb and the friendly staff. Took one of our cows that was having trouble in labor. Dr. Holcomb was able to help momma cow give birth and the baby made it. Very thankful for their help! Definitely recommend this animal clinic!

Love going here and visiting the resident cat while getting super service. They care so much for your fur babies...always patient and kind when handling an animal that may not be happy to be seeing vet. 😊 office staff is helpful with great customer service. They prioritize and commit to excellent service for your animals/pets care

My petey has been a patient his whole life, from 8 weeks to 14 years and still ticking. Most the staff are above and beyond kind and friendly and knowledgeable. There have been a few hiccups and moments that almost made us move on, but everything has worked out great.I believe they are personally invested in these animals. They laugh with you and cry with you, share your sorrows and joys, it is unusual to find that.I can't see where they charge super high amounts, more so than other vets. It's average. They don't bill you, if they do I've never heard of it. So payment at checkout. Emergency after hours are available.

I took our bloodhound baby in for minor problem. Front desk staff were pleasant and kind, specifically Diane. His assistant (I didn’t catch her name) was also kind. Dr Holcomb is very knowledgeable and explained his diagnosis thoroughly. Great “bedside” manner. Would recommend to everyone I know

We are blessed to have found this clinic. The staff is so sweet to us & our pets. The facility is clean, the prices are decent as well. Much cheaper than what we were paying when we lived in Tyler! My only “complaint” we have is, we’ve had 2 very large bills from 2 separate surgeries/procedures. We also use care credit on the major stuff for our pets & we never were told they only do 6 month interest free instead of 1 year. For a $1,000+ bill, it should be 12 mo interest free. I get it, I worked in a vet clinic for 14 years. It costs more on the clinic to do that, however, I’ve never been to a place that won’t do 12 mo no interest when it’s over $800. Pretty bummed about that & we’ll have to remember that for the future. But like I said, otherwise the clinic is fantastic with a wonderful doctor & staff.

These people are great and they really care about animals. We brought our puppy in when we 1st picked her up in Waco.One of our dogs needed shots and the other needed his claws trimmed, during the same visit. They were very accommodating; everything is very easy going with them.And so kind. I'm glad they were here for us and our pups.

I moved my hairy Kids Care here so not to have to go all the way to Tyler. My smallest one had to have surgery and they did a wonderful job. They've also done a wonderful job with my other two Harry kids as well. The doc was able to pick up on some things that the other vet had missed completely. Some of the office staff is a little rude but the overall experience makes up for it. Much thanks to the staff and doctors for their care of my hairy kids and kindness to me as well.

This is hands down the best vet I have ever taken my baby to. My Aussie cut open her chest and it got really infected. We took her here and the staff was so friendly and efficient. They had to put her under and open her up and we were only there for about an hour. The fastest I have ever been in and out of a animal clinic ever. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful Doctors and staff. They truly care about their patients and their families. They are always there for us , through emergencies, Surgeries and all the routine maintenance care. They are patient with nervous and worried puppy parents no matter how many questions you ask. They treat us like family and we are so grateful to have outstanding care for our fur babies.

I really recommend this animal clinic. We've used them twice now and they were great both times. First was a spay for our dog. I forgot the leash when I picked her up. Not only did they mail it to us but included a bag of dog treats which I'm sure cost more than the leash lol. Second was just the other day. We had our 28 yr old horse go down and couldn't get him back up. They arrived at our house within the hour. It was sad because we had to euthanize him but I was so grateful for the fast response to limit his suffering. I will be doing business with them from now on. Thank y'all.

After a mistake I posted, I haven't used this vet in probably close to 20 years, but tried calling his emergency number because of our 12 week old pomeranian puppy was experiencing seizures, and the office is very close to our home, Dr Holcomb return my emergency call, unfortunately he was away visiting with his family and we had to take our puppy to Tyler, thanks for the return call and concern, and all worked out okay, we will be picking our baby back up tomorrowMy sincere apologies

This place is so amazing. They make you feel like your family. They know how much your fur babies mean to you. I found that out when I had to put my little Chupa down. One of the hardest thing I ever had to do. You know....if your going to like a place when you walk in the door. It starts from the ladies @ the front deck. I thought when my vet. retired I would never find a vet. that cared as much about my babies. Doctor Holcomb has a great bed side manners.
