After joining their rewards program I do get better pricing when using their Food Club brand, which I can't tell that much of a difference from national brands, so I get them when I can.Self checkout installed several months back, works good to get a few things and get out quickly.Employees are always courteous & friendly, they have a good staff.

I will show up at 7 to shop during store open hours. An employee let me in to get what what I need. However (Jamie) stand in manager got an attitude demanding to know who let me in and that I needed to get out. 7:05 and she's getting an attitude at me because she can't manage to open the store on time. Not the first time this has happened. She makes everyone late that needs to be at their own job on time. Attitude uncalled for and unappreciated. Do your job. Or lose it which would be better. 7:10am and their is a line ouside. Sad Update..Brookshire Brothers lost 200 dollars in sales today to Wal-Mart due to incompetent and rude management. And I saved 30% on purchases.

I love this store. They have great produce and a wide variety of unique items. I travel back and forth to Austin a lot and this grocery store is better than most in the city. Very impressed & happy it exists in the community.

I have to give a huge shout out to the bakery ladies that took my last minute order for a large cake for a work function. They did a phenomenal job and made a beautiful cake that tasted great and I will definitely be ordering from them again! Melissa was fantastic in communicating with me to make sure the cake turned out the way I envisioned so five stars to the bakery. You guys are doing a great job!

Suprised, on first visit, with size and selection inside the store. While wandering isles looking for items, and what was available, all the employees encountered were helpful and offered assistance in finding/getting items.Between selection, employees' courteous attitudes, and cleanliness, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

It was absolute perfection all the way around! The employees were super nice beyond and above! One lady in the deli where the chicken is being cooked could have been a little friendlier but that was one in a million! I Found everything I needed! Super clean store and wasn't that busy when I was shopping so what more could you ask for?

UPDATE 03/2023. Mr Ben Luster has done a outstanding job managing this location. While having to contend with a major store remodeling and then additionally having Self Service Check Out Registers added. The Parking Lot and store are always clean whenever l go there. My favorite Checker is Ms Maria. She is genuinely interested in customer service !!!!! The Sackers Eric and Cavaze also do a great job. Also Calvin in the Produce Department does a great job. As do all of the other employees !!!!!!!

Shop there often. It is very run down store and always smells terrible. The Livingston store is very beautiful. It is our only grocery store in town so i guess corporate does not care to spend money for a remodel as people will still shop there.

I've always enjoyed coming here, and experiencing a small town friendly environment for my shopping needs, BUT today was a very wonderful experience and stood out as extraordinary and remarkable. Every single employee that I seen or came in contact with had a big smile and greeted me with "Merry Christmas " this warmed my HEART and put me more in the holiday spirit adding sweet pure joy to my soul!!!!!! Overpriced for the shopping area you get. The place is run down, holes on the signs that haven’t been fixed in I don’t know how long. Everything is dated & needs to be remodeled. The staff has always been pretty friendly though. Just can’t get over how horribly run down this place is. Wish we had a nicer place to shop with better prices.

Not only are the employees inside/outside the store extremely helpful, they're so respectful. Although they have a sign clearly stating that wearing a mask is required, I've seen shoppers w/o.

Tried to check out everybody standing around talking when I did go through it aligned the girl decided it was time for her to leave and threw a sign up in my face rudely saying she was closed I'll have ever encountered was rude kids in the place who've never been taught about customer service I will never go back

Went later at night so the staff was ready to leave which showed in her service. I have been there before and it was fine so maybe it was just she. Would recommend if you need to but some in a pinch.

In Rusk, Texas visiting family. Went shopping at Brookshire Brothers for the first time. Immediately noticed how dated the store is...looks unclean. The prices are high but that is to be expected when you're out in the country. The employees are definitely the main asset. Very friendly with a smile.

This small town BB is the best. I was looking for corn nuggets a month ago and the manager helped me look. So I go in a week ago and there they were displayed. Also I want to recognize the pharmacy tech Kelley Kinney. She stayed late to fill my meds and Called me personally and informed me the Dr had finally filled it after 2 days. Everytime I get to visit this store it's only for a short while.The sackers are allowed to accept tips (which is great for them).The sackers are courteous and nice. I just forget sometimes to bring change for their tips.

Extremely high prices compared to Aldi, Walmart, and even Brookshire Company out of Tyler (which also owns Super One). The people are wonderful. Prices, HIGH!!!!

Only place to get good meats & fresh veggies other than from your local farmers or your friends garden😉 Beef is exspensive no matter where you purchase it, but Brookside Brothers have in house Butchers that cut the meet on premises. Fresh & now bunch of preservatives & red dyes shot into the meat.
