Sometimes you don't want to shop in a larger store. Family Dollar has been great for picking up small items quickly without having to roam around Walmart for something simple.With that said, this store usually feels a bit messy.

Went in to the Royse City location off of 30 for dog food. Got a bag and the price on the shelf said 22.25. When I got up front they told me 30 some dollars. I went back to verify and was told while he was eating chips that I would have to talk to the other lady working. She said that it was stalked wrong. I told her that wasn't the fault of me the customer. She said she wouldn't change the price even though she was the assistant manager. I told her that there are 3 bags there not just this one. I went somewhere else to buy. I don't care about the price but when I pick something up for one price and getting charged almost $10 more with no apology just telling the customer they have to pay more for their mistake is wrong.

For those in the Royse City area this is great to have a convenient store nearby. It’s not about the people as much is having the convenience my experience was very pleasant and the workers there were doing their job, and they answer questions as needed, and they were pleasant.I was looking for hamburger buns, cleaning supplies, storage containers and chips. Thankfully they carry all these and much more. Family Dollar is very convenient when you need items quickly. The bad part is the location to get back onto I-30 if you need to return to the East.

Extremely rude employees, they don’t speak at all. No hello, thank you, nothing. They stay in what appears as an office and on their phone and eating. There is a young man there who is very nice when I visit. Today was a younger girl with tattoos she just walked away after checking me out, didn’t hand me the receipt or nothing.

I love this store, super convenient to access from service road or I-30. The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have never seen so much inventory in such a compact area. The prices are great too and even better with the app. I love digging for treasure in the clearance bins, too!

I wish I can give them-1000000. Employees are rude , I'm sure they are not happy with the place and pay but it's not my fault . I work in retail as well and I'm not rude with my customers. I mean the worst experience

I shop here quite a bit when I desire to get in and out fast. This store is fairly busy with a high product turnover, however, the shelves stay well stock.on a daily basis.

Employees are rude and the store is dirty all the time. Not nearly enough room to move around in store at all. I do not recommend this store at all. Manager is rude amd doesnt seem to care about the customers satisfaction in any way

Worst place ever to shop. I've been to this location several times and EVERY TIME it's the same horrible experience. You can not walk and shop between the aisles because there's ALWAYS a full stacked rolling cart full of boxes blocking all the merchandise. Unfortunately it's the only store within 10 miles if Rouse City or I'd NEVER shop there again. This store doesn't even deserve 1 star.
