The owner is kind and helpful. Great selection of spirits, wine and beer. Convenient location in the town square. Maybe $5 higher on some items, but still competitive prices and I prefer supporting local small businesses. Besides your going to spend more in gas if try to go anywhere else.

This place is your go to if you are wanting the best Texas beer selection available! They have an entire walk in cooler dedicated to beer brewed and Texas even stuff from tiny towns hundreds of miles away. I called around to it least 10 stores before they were able to finally meet my needs. They also have amazing pricing for being a mom and pop shop!

The spouse has an affinity for sours, and no other store has the selection they have. He's tried almost every one, as our stockpile of bottles shows. Jolly Pumpkin is a clear winner and something he wouldn't have found without AB. It's a clean store with kind and helpful staff and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about beer and wine.

This place is great! They have a great selection of beer, wine and hard to find liquor. One time, I asked for a case of wine that wasn't on the shelf and the store owner, Harry, got it for me. His staff is really friendly and knowledgeable as well. I ask for various things and they don't get annoyed. I really appreciate having a family owned business that does a really great job and is close by.I have an out of town trip for my friends birthday next week and I went in yesterday and I asked the team for some craft beer recommendations and they gave me four or five suggestions. Can't wait to try them, and can't recommend AB beer and wine enough!!

I originally did a Google search looking for a place that might have Texas Ale Project's The Caucasian beer in stock, that's where I found this gem of a store. I called to see if they had any in stock, the owner informed me that it was seasonal then proceeded to give me a detailed rundown of similar beers that they have to satisfy my craving. His knowledge and friendly demeanor drove me to make the trip to visit his store. Once there, I was impressed to see the vast selection of local craft brews as well as international choices. Everything is well organized and easy to navigate. I tend to enjoy Russian Imperial stouts and milk stouts, and they had a great selection to choose from. I felt like a kid in a candy store, except I'm an adult in a beer store! If you're looking for a good beer, this is the place to go!

A huge selection, especially of beer and cider that I can't find elsewhere in Texas. Always kind and willing to give suggestions if you ask. I am moving and recently called to ask if they had extra boxes - they were kind enough to give them to me. All around great people, and always my go-to place even if I have to drive a bit further. Totally worth it.

The older man at this store has got to be my favorite person. So nice. And always points me to the best tasting and also cheapest whiskey or tequila. Never tried to upsell me I ask and he provides. Great store glad they're staying open and busy.

Don't miss out on this spot! Excellent selection of beer and spirits. The owner has a lot of knowledge and you will find things you may not see anywhere else in the DFW Metroplex. Very lucky to have such variety in our town. The good people working in the store are always willing to help acquire whatever you'd like, just ask!

My husband and I finally got a chance to check this place out, we were surprised at the variety. There is more beer than you could ever want, including a walk in freezer full of cold beer and wine. There is a large wine selection with glasses. And LIQUOR!! The guy working was really nice and helpful. The store is very clean. Definitely will be coming here on a regular basis.

A very nice place with super nice staff. This is not a dive by any means, more like a high class spirit and wine utopia. It is also very clean to the point of near sterility. If you want to buy just about any kind of alcohol you can think of then this is your place.

This place has a huge selection of craft beers. When I say huge selection I mean Specs and Total wine have nothing on this place. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars based on the fact it's very pricey compared to other liquor stores for the everyday stuff like Malibu rum or Vodka. Two full cooler walls plus a beer cave full of crafts. It's a special kind of place you'd never expect to be in the tiny town of Royse City.

The only thing I have to say that is positive is the store carries popular brands and those that are commonly unheard of yet possibly local.They only sell the large and the largest sizes so expect to hand over a lot of money. And there's a cool brewery next to it. Owned and operated separate

They have a great selection of beers, but I was very dissapointed that that had my favorite bourbon Bookers overpriced by $30. That's ridiculous price gouging. Probably won't be back.

My wife and I go in at 6:54.... at 6:56 the lady tells me from behind the counter I have two minutes because they are closing. The place is terribly overpriced, which I can overlook for convenience but I absolutely won’t support a place where the owner pushed me out the door so they can close two minutes early. Won’t be back.

Sill a low traffic store, I continue to wonder how they remain open. I quit A&B when they were on Hwy 276 because of what had regressed from an engaging environment to a very strange, almost hostel environment. International politics? That store eventually shut down. This new location has improved over their end days on 276 but remains a weird environment (which is why this is not 5 *'s). We go to A&B f/ specialty beers: they are unchallenged by anyone nearyby. Everyday beer (e.g., Bud Lite): somewhere else.

How do you write a review for the best damn little beer store in Texas? If you live anywhere in 15 miles of the place there's no reason to go anywhere else. Harry has EVERY beer you need. Driving all the way to Dallas isn't even practical. I've never been to another shop that's had the selection and great prices for those hard to find selections. Dont come looking for a zima but if you want that beer you had 3 months ago in that obscure gastro-pub in some city somewhere but cant find it anywhere. Go to AB.Dont forget tastings on friday nights.

Impressive selection for a relatively small space. Disappointed by the single staffer, as an out-of-towner I asked for some top local beers and he didn't have much to tell me, which seemed like a pretty softball question for a craft beer and wine shop.
