My dog and I had a really great experience here. We came in to buy a Kong and Nicky was so helpful! I told her we’re new to the area and she went out of her way to walk us around the store and informed me of the premier membership plan and the MANY benefits I could get out of it as an owner with multiple dogs. I have never had such approachable and attentive customer service at a pet store, we will definitely be back! I also love that they carry the Wholehearted salmon formula in 45 lb bags- We have four large dogs and go through this stuff FAST but they’ve always had it in stock the same day we needed it!

Katherine was the most helpful person I've ever encountered in a pet store. She researches things and knows her stuff. I will absolutely go back there to shop, because not only does she care, she's honest and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about this woman. Keep her around.

I arrived at 9:50am for my 10am appointment. The groomer arrived at the time of the appointment beginning. The other staff that was at the office around 9:50am made a rude comment stating my dog looked matted all over. My dog was not matted. I ensure to brush my dog before bay grooming session. The hair cut was not at all what I discussed with the groomer. My dogs facial hair looked like it was only partially trimmed. They added a $10 fee for needing to do multiple different lengths during the cut and the cut appears that they did not do anything special and still used one all over length. The groomer did not clean the dogs ears well. That was the main reason I brought her to be groomed today and expressed this to the groomer before hand. My dog went to the vet a few days before this grooming service, yet the groomer stated the dog needs to go to a vet to clean her ears. The vet told me to have her groomed to clean them.I am not happy with her cut or the service I received at this petco. And I paid $100 for a bad haircut and added fees that I’ve never had added in the past.

Location, location, location! This is VERY handy to both Rowlett and Rockwall shoppers. It is easy to get in and out of the shopping center too. Despite it being an Unleashed store, it has everything I could want, except RX prescription foods, i.e. Science Diet Giomme for Sensitive Stomachs. Otherwise, it always has what I need. Wish they provided Biogroom shampoos and conditioners. They are wonderful and they totally eliminate "doggie" smell for a long time. Also, a full line of Royal Canin dog food would be perfect. It is expensive, but not if you consider teeth cleaning is not necessary when on the food!

Great place to bathe your dog. They provide all the bathing supplies including shampoo conditioner towels brushes and blow dryer. In the nice deep professional style basins are perfect for containing your pup during bath time. It's much more affordable than a groomer at about $20 per wash, but you do the work.

We used the DIY dog wash! It was great! Huge raised tubs so no leaning over a home bathtub! You can use all their supplies (comb, brush, shampoo, towels, apron for you)! No bringing home a wet dog because they even have blow dryers! The greatest part? They clean up the mess 😂! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Don’t go to this location unless the younger gentleman are there in the afternoon. Absolutely terrible customer service! The old lady working the front in the morning on 4/20 should be fired…Tried selling me bags of dog food with pee on all the bags!! Encouraged me to still take the bags home after refusing to check in the back for more or call another store. Wouldn’t complain if this wasn’t $100 Dog food but the store was disgusting, and front desk was left unattended. Do better!

So im in a panic cause my dog is bleeding an nobody can see her today. I go buy some stuff to cover her up. It's not a doggie period. Well at first the guy was busy helping someone else. He noticed my dog bleeding and immediately started helping us to get some things to help her. Then here comes super hero amber to the rescue. She looks at my baby girl and of course i know she needs a vet visit but she was able to give me an idea as to what was going on. Next helped me to get her into the support to keep the area protected till she could be seen [tomorrow she has an appointment! THANK GOD] Yes it was expensive but my dogs deserve the best care and I'll always be grateful that Ms. Amber put my fear at ease. Thank you for helping my fur baby and me today you two. I appreciate your customer service and love of pets. Will go back again, as it wasn't our first time there. My dog doesn't let anybody else hold her but today she definitely trusted amber. An thats enough for my money!

I love Vetco. We used them for our puppy for shots and heartworm/flea/tick medication and have had a great experience. The veterinarians are thorough and answer any questions. It’s also much cheaper than a traditional vet’s office would charge.

You know, I am on the fence about Petco in general. At this particular location though, I bought a huge bag of Hills Science Diet food for our dogs and all of them promptly threw up the food, both times they were given it. This is the brand they have been eating since they were puppies and we transitioned to adult Hills. Be that as it may, they were very understanding and returned my money when I took the bag back, but not to sure if I will buy pet food from them anymore. We also signed up for their Vital Care plan and decided to cancel after attempting to take the pets to get vaccinated. Vaccinations are not covered and you only get a percentage off of the office visits. So I don't know how this plan would be beneficial to us, but we cancelled without them issuing us a refund for the plan, so please read thoroughly if and when you sign up.

I took my golden to the self wash station. They have 3-wash tubs w/different high.I loved it! Because I dont have to bend over to wash my dog.And I don't have to bring anything other than my dog.The worker/spanish guy was very kind.I will bring another dog for sure.

Stopped in to get chew items for my two dogs. The staff is very nice and eager to help and attentive. They have a room where you can bring your dog/cat in to wash them. It has a dryer available as well for $15. Selection is limited because of the size of the store but they do nicely considering.

Right down the street from my place. Smaller store so the selection is more scarse. Still a good option for a quick run in. Easy parking and good customer service.

Horrible.i ordered online for same day delivery, ordered it around 3pm, was supposed to get it around 6pm and it didn't arrive, I couldn't even get the order status. Then I called to get help and they couldn't even cancel it. It wasn't even packed yet. I ordered it for same day delivery for a reason! I needed it the same day and they kept telling me it was going to get here the next day, why would I want it the next day?????

The store is a little smaller than other supply stores but they have quite the variety of dog stuff. I haven't explored the cat side enough to comment but I do like that you can buy the store brand of litter and refill the bucket at a discount after. Such a great idea! Staff is pretty nice too. I'm glad to be close to this place and use it for my dog and kitty needs.

I've noticed that the shampoo is a little watered down. I'm sure some people overuse it. It is extremely convenient and clean. The staff is always very nice. I like this store and will continue to wash my dogs here. Well worth the money.

The self-service wash was great! Very clean with everything you need. The wash bays accommodated my Boston Terrier and Great Dane! Plus the associates were very helpful. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, very helpful. I like this location for grabbing pet food and toys, because it seems like I can get in and out quick, with exactly what i need. Not to mention when the larger store sells out of the large bags of the brand we use, this location always comes in clutch! They insist on helping you to the car with it as well, which is nice when you're in a hurry so you dont have to fight a cart getting it back in, eventhough I'd never ask for someone to help, and always feel guilty having someone help, its much appreciated.

I used the self service dog wash. The wash area has elevated tubs, great smelling shampoo & an incredible conditioner that left the dog soft & smelling good. They had everything we needed- shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer, and several different brushes to get the loose hair off her. The attendants were knowledgeable and checked in to ensure everything was going well. The best part - all this was just $10.83. We will be going back!

My order was so easy to obtain by ordering online, and picked up curbside. No worries by not having to go inside the store. I ordered, and the next morning it was ready to pick up. Drove to the store, they immediately brought out my order to my car. Great service!

Great place to give your dog a bath. Very reasonable, everything but the dog and labor is provided. Nice large stainless steel tubs at just the right height, and even towels and driers. You don't even have to clean the tub when you're done. Then there a great selection of toys and treats.
