The food is always delicious! They just added a street corn dish to their menu and it is phenomenal! Been trying Mexican Street all over the western United States for the last couple of months and this is far and above the very best I have ever had! Not sure what the secret ingredient is but the crumbled Takis on top sure make this dish pop! Very friendly management and staff. Little out inside when they get very busy but that is to be expected

Waited for an hour without receiving our food. Restaurant was only half full yet wait staff was very inattentive and seemed not to care when we brought the wait for our food to their attention. We payed for our $6 topo Chico (which is a crazy amount), left and went to Dairy Queen who welcomed us like home and got hot fresh food to us in about 3 minutes flat. Definitely a tourist destination that panders to locals and ignores any visitors. Also, no modern plumbing?? Couldn’t even flush toilet paper down the toilet?

My husband and I brought our family here for lunch. I remember this place actually being good at one point.Queso was gross, my kid wouldn't even eat it. Beef enchiladas were not good... what kind of cheese was that? Velveeta? Only thing that was decent was the margaritas. They tasted wine base but not bad.Our waitress was really nice.. but I know she had no control over the quality of the food. We will not be returning unfortunately.

This place offers an excellent front porch to take in the square of Round Top! Very family friendly. Lots of young families there with kids.The skinny margaritas are so good! My family and I enjoyed a nice lunch of steak nachos & a burrito. Both were pretty good.The service was a bit slow but not holding that against them! Every where is short staffed due to the surge in Covid. So be prepared and be kind to those who actually showed up!

Went in with low expectations and was blown away. Thick crispy chips and delicious salsa and queso. Wife said here strawberry margarita was probably one of the best she's ever had. (She ended up drinking 2 which is rare) I got beef enchiladas and they were delicious. Wife said her chicken soft tacos were amazing. Only thing that lacked flavor was the rice. Pricing was high but for a touristy town that's expected but worth the price.

Unfortunately our experience was less than stellar. The service was poor as we had to get up and ask for items several times. One of the waitresses popped into the bathroom with a male employee and came out briefly before he did. Staff were more interested in flirting and talking with each other than being attentive to customers. Never once checked on the table to see if needed more drinks etc. would not recommend as my streak was dry and tasteless.

Came to Manditos for lunch. Was not very busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff. I was asked to take a seat in a general area while the host stood by the door. Due to having a seat on my own at the request of the host, chips and salsa / drinks took a while. Upon arrival chips and salsa were ok at best. I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas which did not take long to come out. Upon the fajitas making it to the table there was no sizzle only a puddle of water in the plate under the fajitas. The beef fajitas were pail in color and had an off taste. The chicken fajitas had a good flavor but were tough and on the verge of dry. The guacamole that came with the fajitas was very good, I can’t say the same about the rest of the sides. The beans were mealy and burnt tasting, and the rice was flavorless and dry. I wound up eating just the chicken fajitas as the beef did not taste right. From what I observed every table had to request drink refills as did I only receiving one extra small glass of water. I had to ask for the check and spoke with waiter about the bad taste the beef had. Waiter said he would get the manager and then instead brought the check. I had to ask to be charged for the price of the chicken fajitas I did eat and they discounted the check approximately 1$. Based on my experience I probable will not return.

Personally, I would never choose this as my first pick. However, I had no say in where we ate. The service was okay but my main issue was the short black hair in my queso (I have long blonde hair). Additionally, they was a fly in another persons margarita. I know that it’s not necessarily the restaurants fault, but the fly is really on-brand. Warning: do not go in the restroom smells like sewage and chemicals and ruins your appetite. The waiter we had was nice at least.

The bar tender was very rude, He said he was also the waiter. we were asking questions about margaritas to go and he was frustrated with us because we were asking so many questions. We were just trying to figure out what would be the best way to order. Totally different vibe at Lulu’s. Bartender s were amazing, and friendly. Drinks were great also.

The food quality was below average and the head waiter was dishonest with the check.Be sure to get a paper check to review before allowing your card to be swiped....I will walk by Mandito's in the future. Too many alternatives.

Service was very slow to start. The food is good, but priced high for the amount of food you get. The drink prices are real high so we didn’t bother. The location is great and parking is ideal. Waitresses are definitely overworked though. May come back, but only after trying some other spots in the area.

Great atmosphere, wonderful people and service. Food was good. My chicken fajitas where excellent. The tortillas where great but what shines are the chips and salsa, both are amazing. The only reason I give 4 insted of five is that I can get a comparable quality and taste meal for half the prices. Still it was very enjoyable. Thank you for the good food and pleasant service.

Round Rock TX has an impressive number of eateries which belies its small town status. And judging from the weekend crowds it draws patrons from throughout central Texas. Mandito’s popularity was evident as we drove in from La Grange TX; the porch setting was inviting so we joined others in dining al fresco. Warmly greeted, promptly seated and the service was excellent as was the meal. This is not what I consider traditional Tex Mex, but still very tasty. Our server offered to take payment for the meal check; however I noted the QR code and scanned with my iPhone. Quick and easy with Apple Pay providing an email copy of the check/payment. First time experience with this technology! Added to the overall satisfaction rating for Mandito’s.

OMG, so good and definitely want to come back to this place, the next time I'm over there on that side of town! I highly recommend and you won't be disappointed and I can see why this place gets packed quickly and why it's so popular and 5 out of 5 stars and 10 out of 10, in other words! It's totally worth the time and money and they have pretty reasonable prices for their menu items because this day in time, even fast food places have gone way up, due to our economy and out of control spending thanks to our government! Anyways, give this place a try y'all when you are in this neck of the woods, folks. I had the combination steak and chicken fajitas and the chips and salsa is amazing and so is the queso dip too, yummy! Everything is good and you definitely can't go wrong.

Great place! Though they serve hundreds, maybe even thousands, daily during Antiques Week they still manage to get their customers seated, fed and keep them happy with their delicious food and excellent customer service. I love their chips, salsa and their queso is so good! The refried beans are very obvously cooked in bacon grease... yum! Rice is delicious, tacos al carbon, burritos, margaritas... all scrumptious! Worth the wait every time.

This place is too cute to be this mediocre. There were issues with every entree, drink, and appetizer. Food was a 6 outta 10. Service was a 5 outta 10. Prices were too high. Place is cute tho.

This has to be the worst Mexican food restaurant in the nation, not only is the food horrible and way over priced, the service sucks, blows and leaks. The Restaurant was extremely slow for business, yet our waiter never did come back to check on anything. I would recommend going to Taco Bell for better food and service. I use to recommend many of my customers to go to Mandito's yet I will never ever send customers to Mandito's again. It is way over priced and horrible food and there is no customer service what so ever, save your money and go somewhere else. The waiter also short changed me.

I would have to rank this as one of the rudest dining experiences of my entire life! And trust me as a former service worker & frequent diner I believe that says a lot. We went toMandito’s at approximately 7pm on a Sunday. Sat down for a drink and an appetizer. I would like to first say everything up until this point was perfectly fine. The hostess was nice, the server was great, the food pretty good. It was what happened at the end of the meal that just blew my mind. 8:00 as they were closing a staff person not sure if it was a manager? The owner? A busser?? I really don’t know, comes out, opens our bill looks at it says “oh. You really should’ve tipped more.” Um, excuse me! Why yes, we tipped $10 on a $70 tab for an appetizer (nachos) and a couple drinks. So not the highest tip in the world but it certainly wasn’t nothing, again considering it was nachos & a couple of drinks. Then again comes back at 8:12!! Tells us everyone else has left and now we need to go. Like wtaf I have never! Ever!! Been told I must leave a restaurant 12 minutes after closing time. Just so, so, so incredibly rude. Needless to say, I will not be dining there again nor would I recommend. Only giving two stars for the hostess & wait staff, they did a great job & it was not their fault

My children and I stopped here on our route. We were the only people in the restaurant. Due to this, I had low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food and salsa were very good. I had Taco Carbon. My children had a crunchy taco, beef quesadilla, and cheese quesadilla. We all liked our food. The waiter was very nice. We would stop there again.
