While the grooming is good, the price gauging is better...for them of course...Brought my wife's cat for the first time a while back, he was extremely matted, cost us $100-$108. Brought him in the second time, way less matted, cost $120 before tax and tip. Just took him in for a 3rd time, cost $130 before tax and tip. I asked for an explanation, and they said he was matted. I explained the first time was the absolute worst his coat had been out of the three times. They weren't hearing it. Won't be bringing him back.

They always do a great job with our dogs. I get the full grooming service for both of my pups. I love that when they leave there they always seem to be calm. It’s hard to trust places with your dogs but I have been coming here for over two years and they have always done a great job and are very accommodating. Dory who works in the front is very communicative and has great customer service.

I had to cancel my appointment due to an emergency with my car and had no car to make it to my appointment. The worker suggested I use Lyft to bring my dog to the appointment when I told her I have a three year old son with no car seat with me to put him in, I cannot do that. They said they have a big sign when entering that cancellations within 24 hours would result in a charge. I have never seen this sign. This should be communicated when making an appointment as well. I honestly feel in emergency one time situations this fee should be waived. I have kept my last two previous appointments. The worker explaining this to me was coming off as rude when doing so. I will not be back.

We are new to the Round Rock area and was worried about finding a groomer I could trust and feel comfortable leaving my pet with. So happy I found Purr-fect Pets Grooming. Not only are they 10 minutes from home, they are punctual, caring with my pet and love the friendly staff. Highly recommend you give them a call.

I had been taking my pup here for a while and was always decently happy. The last appointment I no showed because I was out of the country and my husband just straight up forgot since im the one that takes my girl in. They left a voicemail telling me I would be charged the fee next time I came in…which is fine. I’ve never missed an appt but will eat the cost because of the mistake. I have been trying to call for weeks now to schedule a new appt and pay the fee and no one is answering. I have a sneaking suspicion I’ve been blacklisted—so I found a new groomer.The handling of these situations seems straight up childish.

I’ve been bringing my German Shepherd here for a couple of years now. They always do a great job on her nails. I really like the fact that they are open on Saturdays for a decent amount of time. It really helps me since I pretty much work Monday through Friday and I’m unable to make it until Saturday. All the ladies at work they were very professional and do a great job

Absolutely butchered and shaved my dog’s fur after asking them to leave it long. Family members legit cried after seeing what they did to our dog. Do not trust them with your pet!

I take my dog Duncan here. He gets amazing professional treatment. I prefer to purchase the larger package where they take care of just about everything for my dog. I noticed that he is more healthier, in a better mood and more happier. I cannot recommend their services enough. Go and try it and your dog's Health and Happiness will be the judge!

Great staff, they did a great job with my very anxious dog! Finally found a place that wouldn't just give up when other places said they could not cut his nails. They did a fantastic grooming job and I am so thrilled to have a place to take him for regular grooming. Would highly recommend!!

We got our cats claws trimmed here. It was very fast service. Only negative was we were not allowed to be with our cat due to dogs getting their stuff done and they had to take our cat to a room.

Very friendly staff, detailed care of pets. Love that they work slowly with young pets to acclimate them without stress. Our pup came out happy, beautiful and smelling great! Second pic is from Oct 2019, few months after first visit. Finn always comes out happy, fluffy and smelling great :) Becca is great with him, and the receptionist is super friendly and helpful.

This place was awesome! My dog went to boarding and came back smelly and his coat was dirty and tough to pet. I called on short notice and they were able to fit me in to their day in the hour. My boy came back smelling amazing and his coat is so clean and smooth to pet. The people who work here are extremely sweet and very knowledgeable if you have any question or concerns. Additionally, most of them worked in vets offices before, so they have extensible experience than just the average groomers. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

This groomer was able to fit my dog Jax in at the last minute. Great job on the deshedding, bath, nails..etc. Reasonable prices. Will be using them often!!

I am very happy with my experience at Purr-fect Pets. I had previously taken my Maltese to Petco, which was fine but I wanted to try different places. Acorn got a great fur cut and even came home with a cute bandana. I also got a thank you card in the mail today to boot. I love supporting local businesses and will be taking my pup here from now on. Also price was very reasonable!

First I must say that I took a very long time to select a groomer for my precious Josie. Reading reviews, stopping by, calling, etc. I have to tell you that Purr pets Groomers is the Purr fect place to go! From start to finish I was impressed by professionalism and concern for Josie and for me as her Nana. Joni and Evelyn ( the groomer) are GREAT! We will definitely be going back. Just look at the results! My baby looks gorgeous!

We have an elder dog with special needs and at first everything was going great. We had several months worth of appointments from the same groomer and I thought the service was excellent. I was almost about to give them a 5-star review but a promise was made and never delivered, and this is why I am giving them a 1 start review. I would NOT RECOMMEND this groomer to anyone that is looking to build a long relationship with them. Once your dog gets old, the groomers get cold.Since our pet has special needs, she also has several meds she needs to take. We notified the groomers about it, and we told them all the meds she takes, and they rightfully told us that we just can’t give her any sedatives before any of the grooming appointments. We followed all the rules, and avoided any sedatives before bringing her in to the groomers, but for our last appointment, it seems that she got her meal, and a sedative was still there from the day prior that we missed because we didn’t expect it to still be there.We took her to the grooming appointment, and they called us as usual, but once my wife went to pick her up, they told her, “She was very limp, and we don't think we will be able to schedule her anymore.” We had no problem with that and we understood, but we also told them the situation, and made them aware that it might have been an accident. The groomer “at the time” seemed to understand and my wife acknowledged that it was our mistake. The groomer told my wife that they can’t schedule her, but we can still give her a call and the groomer would try to squeeze us in for an appointment the same day. At first, we were very happy by this offer and my wife told her that she will call her to let her know.Here is where they earned their 1-star review…. We called them 4 times, and left a voicemail 3 or 4 times, but they never called us back. My messages were always detailed…. “Hy my name is…. My pets name is…. My number is…. We are calling for….”, and not once did we get a call back from them. The great experience we had was just suddenly non-existent and they were now ghosting us. Not even a call back to take back their promise or false expectation, to apologize, to schedule, or anything else.You will see that the bad reviews mention the receptionist or how they may mistreat older dogs, and I can understand and see why. They set an expectation for my wife and now it seems that the expectation was only made to get rid of us. If they set an expectation for you, get it in writing because this might be how they start ghosting you and your pet.

Terrible experience. I wasn't happy when I picked him up because he was shaved to the skin-didn't even look like a doodle any more. Admittedly, he was matted some as he has super curly hair, but not to a ridiculous degree. I took my other dog there the week before and was also disappointed because he was shaved, didn't say anything at the time, as I usually don't, but decided to be sure and mention I didn't want this to happen to this dog as well. When mentioned, the groomer used the excuse it was because he was matted as well. He has straight hair that isn't easily matted and in four years of grooming him every 6 weeks, have never had that happen. I truly feel like they shave the dogs so that they can increase their turnover- you could only get a Golden Doodle in and out in one and a half hours by shaving them. All of this being said, I would have kept my mouth shut, but came home to notice he was nicked when I noticed blood was all over my floor. I called to let them know he was nicked, they called me a liar and said I wasn't welcome back. Somehow they think it's just a coincidence that my dog was bleeding when he got home from the grooming appointment. Did I mention they charged my $170?! On a positive note, the front desk person is lovely. Between the two dogs, I've been to a groomer hundreds of times and when it's too short, I don't get ruffled knowing it will grow back soon enough, but I felt very taken advantage of plus it's not every day I get called a liar!

I have gone here for two years and the service was never more than the bare minimum. Decent price and well equipped grooming facility but the staff does not do well with fearful dogs. I have had the receptionist stare me down and “shoo me away” just for her to DRAG my dog to the back. Very scary to witness. The groomer will usually come and pick up my dog. Overall, quick service and decent price, with risks.

This place is awesome. They are so good with my 3 big pittys. Nail trims are a breeze, even with one anxious pup, another with hip arthritis, and a puppy who is new to the experience, the crew here is always comforting and positive. They are popular so make grooming appointments well in advance, but nail trims are walkin ready!

If I could give this place a 10 ⭐️ review I would! I have a VERY anxiety ridden pittie when it comes to nails. They took him back and had him ready in less than 5 minutes. I have had vets offices refuse to do his nails unsedated . Walk in nail trim available. Go here!! 💯
