I recently visited the Petco location and had a fantastic experience. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff, especially Christina, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Their exceptional customer service made this my favorite Petco location to visit. I highly recommend this store to all pet owners.

Everything you need for most household pets. The store is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My only issue was seeing the beautiful birds, a parakeet and a cockatiel, that were stuck in these sterile white cages with artificial lighting and no fresh air or greenery in their cages, and in a back corner of the store that doesn't get much foot traffic (these birds love being social) really bummed me out hard. Tears were definitely shed but that's me with animals. No offense Petco, but that store design is terrible, live animals should be showcased better. This was my first time shopping with Petco by using their “purchase online and pick up in the store” option. My experience was great! Super easy and quick to place an online order. Prices and promos (eg. buy 2get 1 free and 15% off for online purchase picked up in the store) made my purchase super affordable. I bought 3 bags of XS Whimzees (dental bones), two bags of freeze dried beef liver and one large bag of Beef Collagen chewing bones and all this was about $60. That’s a really good price for lots of treats for my two small dogs. The order was ready for a pick up in under and hour. I walked in and didn’t have to wait in any line. The items in a bag were correct so overall my experience was very positive. I highly recommend Petco for healthier/higher quality products at affordable prices (in comparison). Also, this location in Round Rock is very nice, clean and has a good selection of products. Thank you Petco!

I’ve been coming to this Petco for about five years now. I work in small dog rescue, so I buy a lot of food, toys, shampoo and cleaning products. The people here are consistently kind and knowledgeable and they do a great job of keeping their store stocked even though it is a smaller store. I cannot say enough good things about them. I fell in my yard recently and the manager made sure I got my order delivered. It was still frozen when I got it. Perfect! Thank you guys for making it easier to take care of all the little ones that come through my home!

They need to do better I placed an order online I got a notification to pick up at 6:44pm .I drove to the store and they were closed mine you they still had customers inside the store one of the employees came outside .I let her know I was just there to pick up an online order she didn’t even made eye contact with me and stated sorry we already closed and registers are closed . That didn’t made no sense if registers are closed then how they are going to check out customers that are still in the store. I was just picking up an order that is already paid . I understand not letting me in to purchase something because they are closed.But they still had customers still shopping inside the store. I guess it was too much of inconvenient to them just to hand me my dogs food that is already paid.We are definitely not coming to this location again!

Love the pet store in general not specifically any location but pet stores. This one in particular is hit and miss. Sometimes customer service is on point very helpful and polite staff leaving me in and out. Other times I'll be waiting for 20mins before getting any help with minior questions.Bottom line it's a staffing issue I feel like more then employee training.For what it's worth.

There were only 2 people working in the entire store that night and one was at the register. I needed filters for my turtle tank and we have a filtration system I had yet to buy some for. I was confused as to which ones to buy and the difference between the ones already assembled vs the ones you needed to put together and why 12 was cheaper than 8. Sounds crazy but when I don't ask these types of questions somehow I always end up back at the store. I walked up to the register to make my inquiry at the same time another customer walked in the door. Seeing as I wasn't in that big a rush I was gonna defer to the lady but before I could do that she, very rudely, commanded the woman at the register get her some help. The woman politely let her know there were only two of them there and the other lady was in the back. So, the lady tried to get her to assist with whatever it was she was interested in. But then the damnedest thing happened, the woman at the register told her she could wait, albeit very politely, as she had other customers who were ahead of her. Don't get that too often nowadays. Thank you for training your staff not only to use their manners but to treat all customers like you value their business. I won't forget it. And, FYI, I bought the 20 pack plus some fish, which I left in the store cuz I was so happy and had to walk back in to get em lol.

Normal Petco that has a decent selection of supplies. Nothing special honestly, normal chain. For whatever the reason though I believe that the chain is struggling a bit. Some things seem dated and in need of repair.

Petco offered 'Free Same Day Delivery' on our order- great! Except somewhere between the order page and paying with Pay Pal, they added a $17 tip for Door Dash. How rotten and sneaky! I don't believe in Mandatory Tips- should be MY choice, not theirs. Too many businesses are not expecting the consumer to make up for their lack of pay to their employees. I won't do it. It is an unethical way to raise their prices.

I recently use Petco to purchase Cosequin Minis 45ct soft chews. I checked their website the cost was a "normal price" of abt $16. Only rated a 4 Star since I live in Georgetown & this is the closest Petco. Thank you Petco, you're greatly appreciated. I normally shop at Petsmart in GT for my dogs needs. For some crazy reason their price for this EXACT item went from average $16 or so to an astonishing PRICE INCREASE of $54.99!! Ridiculous. The package now is equipped w/a sensor. I'm sure because of the price.

I took my dog to get groomed here for the first time ever. 3 days later we noticed she’s shedding more than usual. A week later her shedding has worsened, kennel was covered in hair, hairs flying off her back as she’s walking, just everywhere. We ordered products online that can help with this problem, but Petco grooming department seems to think they had nothing to do with this. I called to ask for their shampoo ingredients and the worker couldn’t even pronounce half the names on the label except “aloe vera” and “protein”. So there’s no way I’ll ever know if she may have been allergic to something they used on her. I was not seeking any compensation or refunds, I solely wanted to know what they used to cause this reaction on my pup. Photos shown below are hair we were able to accumulate by using a special deshedding brush we ordered online. This was 3 mins into brushing her. I’ll never use this location again. They’re unprofessional, uncaring, and not reliable at all.

Bought a marine fish. Store manager would not accept a return and replacement after fish made it only 4 days! Other fish survived. I should have known better and will only go to LFS so as to not buy another sick fish. Don’t buy fish from Petco!

I was really impressed by this Petco, I went looking for a Betta and couple of guppies and I spent a long time looking at the beautiful salt water fish they had. They were gorgeous! The young lady that helped me getting the fish was very nice and sweet. Something I really appreciate

Walked in and was completely ignored, staff walked right by me no "Good morning" or "can help you with something". I got what I needed and left. Will probably never go back to this location or just use Petsmart from now on.

Like Petco, been going there since my dog was a puppy, so about 10 years now. Years ago i wouldve given it a rating of 5 stars, but they have definitely decreased in quality a bit the last couple of years. but still good places go for house pets and good and not a bad "bargain zoo" to show the kids.

I finally made the aquarium sale! This store has everything you need for the pet. we go for the fish but it has a great selection and everyone is really helpful and kind. Many fish were bought here. Please care better for the betta! it is heartbreaking tk see them dead in those little cups. Other than the depressing Betta secrion, it is a great place for pets. We have many fish from here that are healthy and thriving and basically all our aquarium things come from here. Defi itely not a waste of time to go there and get pet needs.

I had an okay experience at this Petco. Upon check out the clerk was very nice. The reason for the 4 star is they always seem to be running low or do not have the exact dog food I'm looking for. But, overall the store is pretty good, because I keep going back!

Staff is great, but they were out of stock of everything we wanted. We couldn't even find a stock location for the dog food we buy. This caused us to look elsewhere and we found that Amazon not only had all of it, but it was cheaper. Unfortunate, as we like shopping and buying it in person, but not if it cost us more money (and gas) for the same product.

I love Petco! I take my husky here to get groomed. Mostly everyone is nice. I have ran into one or two people with bad customer service. It's cheaper than petsmart and I get better service here.
