Worst place ever!Left my puppy their since 11:30am,waited for 45 mins since that was the wait, I waited in the car to watch them groom her,I did not see her there so I left,went home waited till they called back,they didn’t so I called back and I asked is she almost done,they said they bearly showered her,and now it’s 1:32pm left her there for almost 2 in a half hours😕:(

I have a dane, been coming here about a year now. The young lady at pick up stated my dane was aggressive and had to have someone else do her blow drying. I asked was it on high and in her face? No reply. I left treats to give her during, she needs positive reinforcement as she has had bad experiences due to being a rescue/dumped. Her anxiety on the way home was far more excessive this visit, wonder what really happen.

My dog was super happy when I picked her up. Not only did Tracy give her a fantastic haircut, but she was also able to trim all of her nails, which is something no groomer has ever managed to accomplish in the past. An overall great experience!

Omg!!! What an awesome experience! I chose this grooming location based on the reviews and I'm glad that I did! I took my sister's fur baby I'm for a trim and the owner did such a great job. I was able to walk right in (although appts are prioritized, which is totally understandable). Nonetheless, the timing was perfect or something because he was all set in a little over an hour. When I picked Winston up he was having a blast with all his new little friends. My sister LOVED his adorable haircut and he smelled like a dream. I also found out she hadn't groomed him lately because some other place had cut up his poor lil belly and she was scared to trust anyone. Well Winston was as perfect when I picked him up as when I dropped him off! Needless to say, they have a new loyal customer. Thank you so much! Kris, Kam, and Winston

I'm always happy when I go to a business and receive TOP TIER service. I went to Ideal Pet Grooming today and took a really good friend's puppy. The customer service was EXCELLENT, they made sure Ziggy was happy and groomed. It was his first haircut and it was CRUCIAL that he enjoyed his experience. After he left the groomer, he had the BEST sleep ever! Thank you for such an amazing EXPERIENCE Ideal Pet Grooming!

This young lady & man was absolutely awesome. I don't have a car so I got to them on foot. Left my baby there walked back home only to get a phone call he wasn't having it. I had told them about the other places I had been when I was living in KY. One place burnt his private parts real bad the other place I had come to me here (PINK POOCHIES) mangled his hair charged me extra for nail cut & didn't even do them all I had to just about bust down their door cause he kept crying. They were horrible with him. But this place here didn't give up by the time I had gotten back up there they had already got him just about ready to come home. The lady finally got a muzzle on him when I walked in she was so excited that shedidnt have to send him home without being able to do her job. I finally have me a place I know won't hurt my baby & will put their all into giving what you need done & making you feel like it's ok to leave your baby . This place & the staff are FANTASTIC. I Will definitely recommend them

This “business” is worth ZERO stars. Receptionist has no clue what the policies are and/or pricing. We called 3 times to check how much boarding prices were for our 2 dogs each over 60lb. She told me $55 per dog per day..... So we confirmed over the phone 3 SEPERATE TIMES “$110 total for one day correct?” She said yes all the times...We dropped them off at 8AM, then picked up our dogs the very next morning at 10AM and they charge us $216.50 for a total of 26 hours!The “manager” was extremely rude and blamed us for not knowing their policy. We called back and he hung up on us. We called again and he was “unavailable”. My question is why are we expected to pay an additional $110 for the employees lack of understanding and missinformation..? This is highway robbery at its finest. And them not calling us back just proves my point even further. Never take your dogs here for boarding- complete rip off and rude/incompetent workers.Recommendation: If you had any similar issues or want to avoid anything we went through, please visit Katy Kennels (drive might not be convenient but its worth it)-27227 Highway Blvd Katy, TX 77494 - manager is a sweetheart, and we paid $200 for 4 days for BOTH dogs. Moneys worth it and the management actually knows what they’re doing.

I could not be more impressed with the staff here at Ideal!! My sweet labradoodle needed some much needed attention. The care and attention they had towards my boy was very professional! They treated him with love! Bailey is normally very anxious when he goes to groomers, but when I arrived to pick him up, he was the happiest boy! He was clearly loved and well taken care of! Will continue to come back!!

After calling around to groomers in the area, when I called Ideal Pet Grooming the owner spoke to me over the phone, eased my fears and helped me out by getting my baby groomed quickly.I explained to her that my baby had previously been injured at a groomer, that he was labeled aggressive and my nervousness for getting my baby groomed. She explained the costs to me over the phone and that they have a groomer that works with dogs that struggle with being groomed. She actually referred to him as the "dog whisperer" and I booked the appointment. Later that day, the "dog whisperer" Mr. Sheldon called me on the phone to ask about my baby and wanted to know the issues he was having and he promised he would do his best to groom my baby.I dropped my baby off to be groomed and when I came back to pick him up he was perfect! Usually when I pick my dog up from the groomer he is almost clawing himself away from them. When I picked him up from Ideal he came trotting around the corner like a show dog and when we got in the car he was happy. Mr. Sheldon informed me that my dog was not aggressive with him and he was able to groom him without issue which was such a relief. When I set up the appointment they were up front and told me that they do charge extra for aggressive pets and I agreed to the charge but when I picked up my baby they didn't charge me extra even though I had already agreed to pay it.Altogether I was very pleased with the service we received and we will be back!

It pains me to write this negative review.  I have attempted to resolve our (Echo) dog's negligent death since November 7, 2020, with the owners of Ideal Pet Grooming Daycare and Doggie Hotel on Hwy 6.  The owners called us late that Saturday evening when we left our dog in their care.  He was to be boarded for the night.  Our dog was being transported to their home without our written consent.  Our precious family member was struck and killed by traffic.  This has been devastating to our family, especially our young children who have grown up with our dog. We attempted to resolve the situation in November, but the owners of Ideal Pet Grooming and Doggie Hotel insisted we speak with their lawyers. We continue to try and communicate with the owner's lawyer with no prevail or justice.  We are heartbroken! As it has been almost 3 months of attempting to resolve this matter am writing this review. We have not been able to have the owners respond and follow through with their responsibilities.

:(This place was recommended to me by a family member and the first visit was great but I recently took my pet a second time and he came out limping.The girls there were sort of at a loss as to what to say or do and handle the situation so they got the owner Wanda on the phone for me and she was very attentive and even reassured me that if in a few days of my dog didn’t get better to contact her again and she would reassess the situation (although I didn’t agree with some things she said 🤨🤨🤨) it made me feel better about returning bc she sounded super genuine.I emailed Wanda few days later bc my dog was and IS still limping and it’s been a whole 7 days now and no response. So, it’s just disappointing bc it just shows me her follow up wasn’t actually genuine.I won’t be returning and neither will my family member as they found it concerning and disappointing too.I find it concerning too that they don’t have a camera in the room where they loosely keep dogs together and it’s not 100% guaranteed the dogs are being watched so just be mindful of that. Where I’ve taken my pet in the past they ask you permission and make you sign a waiver if you’d like your pet loose and uncaged or caged until they’re picked up. I understand you only take friendly breeds but there’s no way you guarantee a client 100% that nothing would happen…at the end of the day animals are animals and there is no camera…😐

We boarded our dogs Jazz (Lab) and Apollo (German Shephard) for the weekend, the facility is clean and beautiful, the staff is friendly, professional and are clear animal lovers. It's so comforting to know that we can get away and have our dogs cared for the way we care for them. Definitely recommend.

I recently brought my dog here for grooming for the first time. I’m new to the area from Chicago so my dogs hair was long and ended up being matted, which I told them beforehand. After doing so, i was still quoted $65 for everything but it ended up totaling $85 when I came to get him. Anywho, The groomer had to cut his hair pretty low which is to be expected. Unfortunately, since then, he has been experiencing quite a bit of discomfort. He constantly scoots his butt on the carpet as if he’s looking for relief. I also notice him locking himself a ton more than he did before. After looking closer, I can see that near his private part and rear end looks red and irritated. I’ll include a photo. Not sure if the clippers were too dull or the shave was too close... but I probably won’t bring him back. It’s a shame Bc other than that I thought she did a good job. Hate to see him experiencing such discomfort and this has been for the last 3 days. I’m not sure how long these issues will persist but I know they didn’t exist previously because my doggy just visited the vet two weeks prior for a wellness exam and was given a clean bill of health.

Best Groomers around, I take my poodles to Ideal Pet Grooming and they always look amazing. I have had my baby's pictures done with them as well. They showed my babies on there Instagram and Facebook. They are always friendly and the place is so clean and elegant. Everyone that I have refer have had nothing but positive feedback. I would highly recommend Ideal Pet Grooming to anyone looking for a new Groomer.

Beware don't send your dogs here! Worst groomers ever! My fiancé and I have three dogs a Yorke, a Cavapoo and a King Charles Cavalier. My fiancé dropped off our dogs on Saturday afternoon around 2:00pm and the facility closes at 6:00 so he called around 5:15 to see if they were ready and they said no and that they cut our Cavapoo on his lower right side leg and that his ears were matted so they had to cut his ears low. We have taken our dogs to Petco and used Pink Poodles and have never had any problems with his ears or him getting cut before. So that night after we picked up our dogs my fiancé noticed that our King Charles Cavalier eyes were close and she keep rubbing her face on the carpet so I immediately got a towel and watered it down and being to keep it on her eyes. I repeated this process all thru Sunday and on Monday I took her to the Vet and called Ideal Groomer about the situation and spoke with Sheldon Robert's the owner and he said that could he come and take a look at my dog eyes sometime that afternoon and I explained that I have pictures of what her eyes looked like and he refused to see them. I asked if they could pay the Vet bill and he said that my fiancé signed a contract so they are not liable for any bills. If you love your dogs then take them somewhere else! Do not I repeat Do not take your dogs there.I have read your response and I am unable to respond back in your message but if you scroll down you can see that I am not the only dissatisfied customer.1. My fiancé did not address my King Charles Cavalier that Saturday night when he was picking up our dogs that is correct because he was too busy addressing the cut on our Cavapoo’s leg. When he got home he noticed our other dog’s eye and when he tried calling, you guys were closed and wouldn’t be open until Monday.2. Your husband did asked to come and take a look at my puppy but I had dropped her off at the Vet and I asked him if I could come by and show him pictures and video of her but he refused.3. I came to your place of business anyway only seconds after had gotten off the phone with your husband and he just so happen to had to leave and I spoke to you on the phone and stated if you wanted to speak to me you could call me on my phone and I left my number with your receptionist and you never called me back.4. Yes you have a waver for people to sign and I see why but it’s also good business to make things right. Your.$10.00 discount don’t count.I’m going to keep repeating and passing my experience on to others in hopes that I can save another person from patronizing your business then that what I plan to do.WORST GROOMER EVER!!

Well...not the greatest experience. I have a medium size double coated breed, I don't think they are very experienced with them. I am no groomer myself, by all means, but I DO know the basics. I know that it's a MUST to make sure their coat is FULLY dry, or else you take them home and they shed ALL over your house. Handfuls of hair are coming off when I pet her! My girl's underside, back, and of course her neck were still WET underneath her hair by her skin. The nice lady at the front did tell me they put a cage dryer up to her, that's not gonna get these breeds dry, and ANY groomer should know that. I have a blower at home, I KNOW for a FACT she can tolerate it, maybe not on her face, but her BODY was wet! Sounds like laziness to me. Can't really believe I paid for that. I could've done a better job at home. If they were trying to discourage me from bringing her back, they've succeeded. I was trying to support the local small business, but I guess it looks like I'm going back to Petco. I guess I will finish THEIR job tonight, when it's not so hot, and use my OWN blower on her outside.

Best Dog Groomer in town. I will not take my dog Polo anywhere else. He did daycare also and it was nice to see him play with other dogs. We stay in a apartment so he doesn't get out much. I will definitely be back. Thanks for making our day.

OMG this place is the best. I brought my 90lb American Bully in for grooming about a week ago. My dog is a bit temperamental but they handled him great and he came home smelling like a new Dog. I highly recommend this place!! I won’t be going anywhere else for my pet needs!!

My first experience was awesome. The second questionable but the third one was devastating. After having my baby looked at by another groomer it was determine that he had clipper burns and that Ideal clippers was not clean. And I had to pay extra for the 3rd visit same service but about $20 more.

First and last time going to this groomer. For starters, there was pushback on the length of the cut we wanted when we arrived. We said not too short & specified 'medium cut, fluffy' on their forms but they insisted on cutting him shorter despite the fact he had no matting, tangles, or anything else that would warrant a short cut. After going back & forth and us finally explaining why we didn't want him too short (chronic skin issues & itching that worsens when he's shaved too close), they finally agreed. Frankly, we shouldn't have even had to explain why. We're paying customers and we requested a service they offer so what's to talk about???In the end, they did exactly what we said not to do & cut him too short. Not only did they waste my time & annoy me with the unnecessary back and forth, but they still didn't do what we requested and agreed on.In addition to this complaint, they also snipped one of his nails too short, which caused him to bleed. His nails were trimmed just a few days ago and their short length was apparent so I'm unsure why they cut them again. Being that grooming is their forte, I didn't think it was necessary to highlight this and ask them not to cut them again bc I assumed it was obvious. Mistake on my part. I get we signed a waiver for "incidentals," but the waiver shouldn't be used to cover things such as this that a professional groomer should already be knowledgeable about.Finally, our appt was for an early afternoon time, but they kept him for 6 hrs. Keeping him that long wasn't a huge problem, but not feeding him or giving him something to drink or eat is not okay. And if food and water was provided, it wasn't enough. As soon as he got home he raced to his bowls and chugged down a ton of water & food. I could be wrong, but I don't recall their site advising snacks be brought in the event they take longer than a couple of hours. Either give people a heads up or take they initiative to provide it...even if it's an additional charge.We'll try out the groomer just down the street for our next cut.Note to the owner should you choose to respond...accountability is a key quality for any business owner. Owning what your staff did/didn't do and offering a simple apology is the least you could do versus responding negatively.

I love this place. My dogs were there for 4 days. The owners answered their phone anytime I called to check on my fur babies and also called me when they had concerns. They treated my dogs just like they were their own pets.
