I go to this place regularly, because it's nearby and generally merchandise are at a good price. Well, a few months ago a older white lady was outside smoking in the front of the building. Another guy and I was in line waiting for someone to come to the register. After a few minutes, I said "hello, is anyone here?" This lady came from outside and was upset that I spoke out. Telling me why did I say anything. I said I didn't see anyone. The other guy said the same thing. She became very upset. And everytime I saw her after that she was rude. I thought I don't want to get anyone fired, so I didn't report anything. Tonight I picked up bud light beer 12 pk that was on sale. It rang up regular price. This wasn't the first time this happened. Anyway after another employee found sale price sign for $9.95 on refrigerator door. She pulled tag off of door and said she couldn't give me the sale price because she couldn't change the price. That I would have to pay the full price. They need to get it together.

This is my favorite DG store.For the past five years this store is fully stocked with all my Tide, Dawn toiletries and Dunkin coffee items. The manager here works hard to keep this store stocked.

Racist Cashier !!!!!!I just left the store after witnessing cashier Melanie profile 3 teenage African American boys who were in line to pay for items. She stopped doing her job as a cashier to approach 1 of the 3 young men as if he had committed theft and demanded he give her his backpack that he were into the store. She talked to him in a manner in which he was a thief.. when these 3 young men had multiple items they wore into the store while in line waiting to purchase the items he held. The young man willingly gave her the backpack and she quickly piped "I am putting it up front because backpack are not allowed in the store." The other 2 young man quietly said to the one young man " She violated your rights". They were right SHE DID!!! She did this in front of a store full of minorities who all glared at her with disgust. There is not any signs up that states you can't enter with a backpack on. I get things happen however put a sign up and why not ask him to not bring the backpack when he entered the store because she right there looking at them. If you are that afraid of black people and fear for your safety get another job. I understand loss prevention but this was extreme. It's really sad that these young men were being profile when they weren't causing any type of disturbance. I plan on contacting the corporate office . Also the line was long and mostly consisted of Black people. When asked about the new self checkout installed Melanie said it was not working. That was probably a lie....Everyone deserves equal treatment!! Lets stop profiling!!!

It seems, it's trying to get better. Waited behind 6 customers and by the time it was my turn they opened another register. Unfortunately the cashier that helped me seemed not to be use to handling money as she took the change recounted several times, and admitted she kept counting a dime as a penny. Slowly but surely hope management is getting better.

This store has a very wide selection of items. It is very conveniently located when you do not want to drive all the way to the grocery store. The prices are very good for most items. The only drawback is that the checkout lines are usually too long. Great catchall store for random household items you might need suddenly. Store always clean and the staff is friendly.

PLEASE FIX YOUR CREDIT CARD MACHINE!!!! I got up to the register with my items and the attendant advised that the machine was having issues. She finished and I put my card in to pay. Sure enough, the machine was not reading it. She pulled my card out, then swiped it and tried pushing it back in. Sure enough, the bank flagged the transaction and declined my card. I told her that it was obvious because of the number of times she tried swiping my card. She began insisting (as the line is growing longer) that it was declined because of insufficient credit! I told her no ma'am, that's not so. She askedfor another card and I politely obliged (the same thing happened again). I had to repeatedly ask her to use the other machine that she said worked better. After she kept insisting that it was because I had insufficient credit, she decided to use the other machine. Then as I thought, the other machine worked fine and all of a sudden I had sufficient credit. It was very embarrassing and she offered ZERO APOLOGY. Instead, she said Merry Christmas. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!From a VERY annoyed customer.

Store is ALWAYS cluttered with carts of boxed stock and is nearly impossible to push around a buggy. Cigarettes will run out and not be restocked for weeks. Staff is always great but just don’t really care to return to this store because it is nearly impossible to get everything you need.

Since the new management change. The store is allot cleaner. Isles are easily to navigate thru and customer service is is very much friendlier. It's a much better shopping experience. Great job "Lizz".

Visited with my grandson to pick up Valentine's gift. As most Dollar Generals, very congested during upcoming events. Had a nice selection of gift ideas. Parking was adequate, but if a person is in a wheelchair, they would not be able to navigate throughout the store, which is unfortunate.

Terrible....worst Dollar General I've been to. Shelves are halfway empty and there's always one cashier up front...not cool when you pay for paper towels and it takes 45 minutes....had to start going to a further dollar store.

Very Nice and Clean. Super organized and the Staff was friendly and available. One of the Best Dollar Generals that I have visited. I only wish the operation make their stores bigger with more Aisle space and and extra cash register.

Manager Claudia is never friendly, Always only one cashier, Only ones who can make the line move fast is the young black girl named Taylor and the older black manager not quite sure his name.I asked Claudia where some nails and screws were located, She was very rude. As long as she is still working there My family and I will not return.

Long line. But store front is nasty. Trash gets mowed with the grass. Friendly ppl. Just dirty store all the time. Some say it doesnt exsist...its across from jr high.I go when i have to but prefer the one in Manvel.

This DG is horrible. There is never enough merchandise on the shelf. The store is dirty and all inventory are in bins cluttering the aisles. Just sad!! Staff is the worst of all.

Store is never open on time, says opens at 8 and it is currently 9:30. This happens quite a bit the is one gentleman who is always their working very hard other are yo lazy!!!!

I go here because its convenient. The shelves are always lacking and there's usually only 1 register open with a super long line.
