Very rude customer service and lady at the register whoever was working on 4/26/24 around 6:30-7:30. So I stopped by to get my fish food with two of my special needs kids and as we get to the register whoever was working it lady with glasses they started saying hello nonstop she didn’t even look up nor say hi she had a attitude mind you they don’t know they are just saying hello having better manners than herself so if you don’t like your job you should find another so as she is ringing me up I thought I heard her say do you want a bag for 10c so I was like wait and I asked her did you said a bag for 10c and she was like yes didn’t look up very rude with an attitude and I was like y’all charge for bags and she was like been charging since last year again very rude I just moved to Rosenberg in December and I had been to this location before like a month ago or more recent they didn’t charge me for no plastic bag not that they told me or I seen on the receipt and I have been to other Petco location never have I been charged but regardless she doesn’t know how long I been out her to even say it as if I was supposed to know what y’all had going on she was rude period attitude stinks y’all might as well have self check out if your going to have some one like this up front very disappointed with this location y’all need to get better people period that have better people skills

For what it’s worth, I’ll give it a 5 star even though I truly despise the practice of selling live creatures in cages.Petco has anything and everything you might need for your pets, beds, cages, carrying cases, food, toys and more.They have a veterinary clinic and grooming facility.The variety is great (in all aspects), there’s ample parking and usually the lines at the cashier (if there’s any) are moving very quickly.Location is convenient and for most people, they check most if not all boxes.Give it a try and decide for yourself.

I called the store to check stock for Ghost Shrimp to add to our aquatic turtle tanks. They had about a dozen. I told the associate that I was leaving home at that time. She mentioned she would have them ready for me at the front counter. When I arrived, the shrimp were ready for me as promised. I was pleasantly asked if I needed anything else, so I did purchase 2 snails, too. I was welcomed and treated as if I am royalty. Thank you for such a great experience.

We took our adorable but unruly puppy to petco for training. Gabby is the Rosenberg trainer and she is excellent. She is very positive, informative and compassionate with pets and their parents. Our dog Zoey has improved dramatically. Zoey is still a puppy so with maturity and the training we received it will even get better. I highly recommend Gabby as a trainer.

Manager and staff most of them are extremely nice and helpful with all things would give it a five if they didn't run out of crickets and worms so fast love the staff most of them if you ask a question they don't know the answer to they look it up quickly for you have brought my bearded dragons in numerous times to be reassured I was just being paranoid thank you guys you are great my dog's also loves coming in always feel welcome and never feel like I am being push to buy anything I don't need on you thanks

Good place but they only have cat grooming days once a month, and you really have to find time out of your schedule for it as you don’t other options. Wish they could add another cat grooming day to have 2 in a month

Ok, so I have two pups, and I get their treats and toys from Petco. The other I grab and arm full of pup stuff go to check out... price tag $89. Ouch! Then the checkout lady asks me if I would like a bag for all my stuff. I said sure. She then said that will be an additional 10 cents, please. Who does that? Just add 10 cents to a toy or something. Don't insult me by charging me 10 cents for a bag.

I don't have any problems with petco....except they started charging 10 cents for bags. In HOUSTON! I'm use to it in California and those are NICE BAGS! I forgot about that when I instacarted from there the other day. The guy had some bags in his car. I raised his tip

Got the basic bath service for my pup, he smelled worse when I picked him up than when I dropped him off. No nail trim was done because his nails are still the same length with no clip marks on them. I didn't complain because I didn't want my PTSD to kick in and turn to a loud screaming match.

If you’re going to charge .10 for a bag, maybe you should offer to purchase a .10 bag before you finish the transaction. Cutting cost where it inconveniences the customer isn’t smart. I spend hundreds of dollars here a month. I will no longer shop here behind your .10 plastic bag policy!

prices are too high on a lot of items, very rude cashiers/workers. They do not greet you first.. if at all, or say thank you for spending X amount of money. The question on the key pad before paying asking if I would like to make a donation is outlandish. It has two answers “ yes I would like to save pet lives” or “ no I do not care to save pet lives” and they look at you with disgust even more because you did not donate. Again even though the question before paying is outrageous.. maybe if they were nice and helpful people would donate… but not with that attitude… it sucks. They ruin the shopping experience totally. So it’s in and out instead of maybe let’s get other things or a 🐍,🦎,or hamster 🐹 or other high priced accessories (search amazon, ebay, local people on marketplace first) .. but no those cashiers/workers make it so unpleasant. So now we avoid going in by ordering everything from Chewy right to the doorstep. And don’t dare ask about anything.. forget that guys… all while they stalk you… thinking you are stealing, but if you ask them or LP something while they make your shopping experience as unpleasant as ever they don’t know anything, or get away as soon as they know you are about to ask a question. The pet clothing is triple priced and they know it. Prices do go up but some of those outfits have been there for a couple of years. It being a pet store you would think there would be a decent selection of collars ect. It is so bad, I do not know who their vendor is for these products throughout the store but they should seek a new one for all areas of the store. That’s my time guys I will update this review as I monitor this location further if I see any improvement or something to show you guys worth showing you that you would need to even step foot in this store.

I wanted to love this place, but I had an awful experience the most recent time I visited. I took my dog to get groomed (it was her first time getting groomed, shes a small dog, 8-9 pounds) made an appointment for 11 am, I arrived and nowhere on the website or in person does it say how long it will take. I asked the gentleman who was a stylist (who was very nice) about how long it would be but he said “awhile” which didn’t fully answer my question. My pup wasn’t ready until 3pm, 4 hours later. I live about 30 min away and didn’t want to drive back home because I didn’t know how long it would take. They called me to let me know she was ready, and I arrived within minutes after shopping nearby to pass time. A women at the front desk of the groomers was talking on the phone, just laughing and talking, she saw me and waved at me to say “one minute” while she continued her conversation. I stood there and waited, I couldn’t understand how she couldn’t multitask, I just wanted to get my dog and go home finally. The gentleman that helped me earlier came speed walking to the desk because he saw I was waiting, and apologized for the delay. I paid and left. The haircut itself was good, my dog seemed to be doing fine afterwards. But they should work on setting the right expectations for customers, and maybe work on multitasking as well 😅
