Finally found a Kroger in the west Houston area that has Joe Gambino's king cakes straight from New Orleans, and for a reasonable price at that! They're located in the front area of the Marketplace entrance on the left side of the store.

I enjoy shopping in Kroger Rosenberg. Produce area is huge, teeming with freshness, and good deals. But then again, they offer good deals and sale prices on everything. The store is huge and I find everything I need under one roof. They also have a Starbucks cafe inside complete with a dining area so you can sit and enjoy. They have free WiFi for your visit. This store has several self checkout registers that are easy and convenient to use. Get their smart Kroger app for deals and to check your fuel rewards (that you can also use at Shell gas stations). Ample parking and convenient location as it’s near restaurants and department stores.

Went in to this location to purchase some Naan bread and all was expired and molded. Went on the other side of the bread rack and there was at least 5 dinner roll packs all filled with green mold all over the packs. Why are they not switching out and discarding their products?It was DISGUSTING 🤢H‑E‑B and Randall’s it is, no matter how far I have to drive.

Constantly blocking entrances, trying to stop people from coming in after 9pm when they're open until 11pm. I heard one staff complain to another, "ugh look they're just coming in the exit."Of course they are, you're blocking entry two HOURS before you close. Things here are priced $1-3 more expensive than their HEB counterparts too. It's no longer worth the convenience.

Grocery service is trash... they never get it right. Sometimes duplicate orders and paying twice and veing charged for delivery twice. Now the driver claimed he couldn't find my home. Poor delivery service they need to cancel all together. They don't have the skill for it.

Standard Kroger with standard prices. This location is very annoying with their operation procedures in the evenings. At 7 p.m. they disable one of the entrances so customers are forced to enter & exit through one narrow path. Then they restrict entry & exit even more by making everyone walk through the self checkout lanes that are already being used by customers, this creates a big bottleneck effect. I stopped shopping here and now shop at HEB across the highway. Much better experience.

This. Location has a lot of growing pains. There are not enough employees to help the customers. I am writing this as I go on 10 minutes in line at the service desk to take care of a return. My car is been damaged in the parking lot because the carts are always all over the place and I even have to use the self check out lanes because it’s very clear that they don’t have real employees anymore. They don’t seem to care because the location of this supermarket is being surrounded by multiple apartment complexes and housing. That doesn’t seem to quit. Shopping at this location is not a pleasant experience. A few months ago, I reached out to the corporate headquarters, left a message and haven’t received a response. additionally, they recently changed the cold tree and to try to speak with someone in the pharmacy. Department is like pulling teeth again. This company must be doing really well because it’s very very clear. They simply do not care.

I bought some snack cakes here a week ago and my wife wondered why they were rock hard and super dense...they expired in August of 2023. What kind of trash management lets item stay on the shelves 4-5 months after expiration dates...and we're talking little Debbie style that should survive a nuclear apocalypse

This is ridiculous. We place an order for pick-up here at kroger brazos Town Center to be picked up between 11am and 12 pm. This order was placed on 01/12/2024 at 6pm. We checked in at 1150ish. Pick-up was on 01/13/2024. We waited for over 2 hours. I will do my grocery orders elsewhere.

Do not ever ever ever use Instacart to deliver your groceries here is why.....I live 4 minutes from Kroger . Brazos marketplace ) Why did the driver ,drive 50 minutes to a cemetery to deliver my groceries ? How ridiculous , further this is the 3 rd and last order for instacart ever! Come on use some common sense . Now my frozen food is ruined . It’s over an hour and a half late . I learned to not use instacart and order 2 hours plus and use shipt not instacart. This was a Unfortunate experience but I learned from This mishap! Instacart should be fired from Kroger !!!!

Baker area the lady was really rude and I kept asking if y'all do custom cookie cake and she just told me the cookie cake are over there, talking over me not letting me explain myself and not wanted to answer my question so I just left went to HEB where the lady over there was super nice and not much rude ..

This is one of the biggest Krogers. It has a large selection. I like the organic foods they offer. I have been disappointed the last few times because the organic cold brew coffee I buy has not been restocked.

I used my card to get gas. The pump said to select fuel and so on I did. It said begin fueling. No fuel came out, but they charged my card for everything left on it. This place is trash, except for Donavan the fuel clerk. He needs a raise. He was polite and professional, everyone else was rude and could care less.

They do not deserve the 1 star..however, I could not leave a review without selecting one.Stay away from the ground beef. On 10/07, I purchased Kroger brand ground beef…spoiled. Took it back to the store…purchased another one with a different date on it. SPOILED! Asked for a Manager…I had to find David because he never came to address my concerns. He smelled it and asked me why did I think it was spoiled because it smelled fine to him. He stated that spoiled beef smells like ammonia.So, I guess it’s safe to say that Kroger do not consider the meat to be spoiled until it smells like ammonia; therefore, they will continue to sell it, Dang, at that point, it should be deadly to consume. Just Awful!

Above and beyond efforts by Stanton and Desiree. We misplaced key fob in basket and could not find to start car. Stanton located when bringing in the carts. Great eye for detail and follow up to get back to us. Thanks for being great!! Kroger is lucky to have you both as employees.

The produce here sucks. What I’ve come to realize is if they have a sale on produce it’s a reason for it. The fruit here is by far the worst. I’ve bought plenty of fruit here just to come home & it’s bitter or has expired. I will come for the few things I need out of convenience but I’ll go someplace for my grocery hauls

I stopped shopping at this specific Kroger. I only go in a pinch. I'll stop at a Kroger near my work place or at an HEB before coming here. Every night that will call over the intercom 5 - 10 early that the store is closing or is closed. I literally just walked out and it was 10:54 pm and they were turning customers away. There are other instances of poor customer service. This store just has low ethics.

honestly this place is too expensive, but they have a large selection of everything, also they carry boars head products which me and my family love, the store itself is a little outdated but that’s easily over looked. if it wasn’t for the deli i probably wouldn’t come here

Last time I'll be coming here unless I need something unusual that only they have. I already started going to Walmart and HEB more since Kroger's prices started going up and up, way more than inflation. Today was the last straw. There were hardly any actual checkout lanes open, and there was one without the light on but yet people were being checked out. I asked my checker about it when I finally got to the front of the line, and she totally didn't understand that I was asking why was I spending my time standing in her line when I saw other people being helped in the line with no light on, that I could have gone to and been done much sooner. I also mentioned it to the person manning the line with no light. She said that she was just helping to lighten the load or some such thing, and I told her she could have lightened mine if I had known I could get in hers when there was only one person in that line. She also called me baby, which I found quite unprofessional.Update after my next trip which I made to get things I could only get at Kroger, as far as I currently know. I am looking for someplace else to get them, believe me.They never have any of the little two-level carts available, so I'm forced to push around a behemoth for my few items. The checkout lines were even worse than the last time, only two open and lines a mile long. So I reluctantly went to self check, which refused to scan my plums and told me to set them aside and continue. I finally punched in the code. Then when I went to pay, instead of asking me my form of payment it said help is on the way. Well help, two of them, were getting ready to walk right past me when I flagged them down. I gestured toward that annoying message on the screen, and was chastised for not saying hello. Well, y'all didn't even glance my way as you tried to rush by. One of them told me not to be rude. I said well if more checkout lines were open I wouldn't get in this frame of mind. The guy said you have a choice there are checkout lines open. I said yeah two of them each with a line a mile long. I thought Krogers were supposed to be unionized, but if so it doesn't seem to be a very effective union. Obviously the lack of actual checkout lines is cutting down on the number of employees. Or maybe the frame of mind of the union and the current employees is I've got mine Jack. Who knows. The only reason I care is those few items I have yet to find anywhere but Kroger.

Came to store this Saturday evening at 6:00 pm. I did my shopping and went to pay and they had three registers open with ZERO baggers??? Makes a person feel great after dropping over $300 dollars and then bag my own groceries, SAD!! I saw atleast 3 managers doing nothing and when I asked one of them they said they were understaffed. I am a business owner and when we are short staffed we all jump in. The young man that checked me out was exceptional!!! I guesss will have to stick to HEB!!
