I have been going to Rocking Paw for both training and boarding for years. I’ve put 3 dogs through several obedience classes there. Jolynn and all of the trainers (Georgann, Zach, & Viktoria) are all amazing and so helpful!! Jolynn has also provided so much help with various dog sports offered in the area. I have built better relationships with my dogs through these trainings and sport opportunities. I’m thankful to have met Jolynn and will continue to use Rocking Paw for training and boarding!

Rocking Paw is the best training facility in the Lubbock area. Jolynn and Zac both love the animals. I have boarded my dog for board and train there for two weeks. She was like a different dog, very well behaved and obedient.

We have taken our girls to Rocking Paw since they were puppies! The owner, Jolynn, is a spectacular trainer who takes extra care to work with you on individual issues that your puppies have so that you get the most out of her classes. She makes herself readily available for questions and advice even when classes have ended. Her kennels are huge and the dogs are constantly getting attention while you are out of town. She also gives back to the community through volunteering at local schools and hospitals, which says a lot about her character. We LOVE Rocking Paw and would highly recommend it!

I have taken several classes with Rocking Paw Training & Kennel Suites. I have received excellent service and advise from the owner. She is a professional trainer, she is kind and she loves each dog that comes through her door. I have kenneled my fur babies with her, my dog were so happy to spend their time with her. They received the best care while there. My older dog had diabetic, she gave the shots and took really good care of my baby! The pups got play time and lots of snuggles. When I picked my babies up, they were so happy and didn't want to leave. I love the services, training and care she provides. She is the best trainer I have ever met. I have trained my older dog with a group that was horrible and I am so thankful for Rocking Paw for the positive training that she provides. It is always positive training, never any negative training or words or actions to your dogs from the trainer or YOU! I love this about Rocking Paw! If you need a trainer for you and your baby, I would highly recommend Rocking Paw!! I tell everyone that has a fur baby about Rocking Paw! If you haven't been there, you should go and enjoy the experience.

We have been taking our dog to Rocking Paw for boarding for 3 years and have also had Jolynn help us with basic training. The facilities and environment are clean and very well kept and the size of the kennels are perfect for our large dog. There is also a fun and safe supervised play area. Our dog enjoys the TLC and enrichment activities that they make available to all the pups in their care. Jolynn keeps us informed and sends pictures of our dog when we are away and has been so helpful with training and nutritional advice. I definitely recommend Rocking Paw Training and Kennels!

Rocking Paw ROCKS!!!! Jolynn is all business and a great dog trainer. She sent videos of our dog during training so we could see how she was progressing. She also had us come for an hour at the end of each week so she could train us, as well. The set-up at Rocking Paw is terrific, and Jolynn trains dogs from beginning to advanced. One outdoor area is organized with an obstacle course. Indoors each dog has its own room with a doggy door leading to a private yard for sunbathing and going to potty. I wholeheartedly recommend Rocking Paw. Their prices are reasonable, the dogs are well cared for, and the training is outstanding.

Would highly recommend Rocking Paw to anyone looking to train or Board their beloved dogs. My daughter had to go into the hospital an was so worried about her dogs as they had never been left anywhere before. Jolynn put her at ease an sent her videos an photos now every time to go to class for training my daughter always says they run an sit at the door to be let into the kennel suites. I have also seen an amazing change in my grandpups they behave soooo well its like night an day.Will 100% recommend Jolynn an Rocking Paw to any and everyone.

I've taken a few of my dogs to JoLynn at Rocking Paw 🐾. She is great with the dogs! She is very committed to her calling and keeps up-to-date on the research and methods that are best for both the dog and the people! I like her no-nonsense attitude. She will tell you if something your doing is counterproductive and if you just aren't doing something that needs to be done. She will also absolutely help you to do the best things for your dog and his/her breed/temperament.We have also boarded our dogs there quite a bit. She lu l keeps us up to date and should the pups. They love it there!

Jolynn’s class really helped reinforce some basics my dog had already learned, and she had great practical skills for the Intermediate class that we still use for both fun and daily life. Beyond just basic training, Jolynn offers a bunch of classes that help build a bond between dog and owner (trick class, agility, dancing, barn hunt... take your pick). Planning on putting my second adopted girl through her classes too!

Trainer is always available for questions and able to adapt lessons and pace for individual dogs. Having put two dogs through years apart I can also tell you she is constantly updating her curriculum to add the latest research and technique to the tried and true. I moved away for a few years and was devastated that so few trainers reach this level of commitment and quality. She really set the bar!

I fist met Jolynn when I signed up for agility classes with my dog Max. I learned so much about myself and how to become a partner with my dog. I have continued to use many of the techniques I learned with other dogs. I also met many people I have become good friends with including the owner. We signed up for a puppy class and attended one night of it and the owner was not friendly or professional in our opinion. There was an immediate attitude to several of us in the class. We felt like we were being treated like we were teenagers in high school and we are adults and have raised several dogs. We decided the class was not for us or our dog. I won’t tolerate being treated in that manner for a service I am paying my hard earned money for. Be careful because you do not get any of your money back. We are out $130 that we cannot get back. You live and you learn.

Jolynn always goes above and beyond for our boy Happy. When we leave Happy with Jolynn we know he will be spoiled and well taken care of. We do not trust him with any other kennel because she has worked with him since he was a puppy. We will always choose Jolynn to care for Happy and all our future dogs.

I contacted the owner on October 8th to find out about basic dog classes, as the website is not up to date. I tried the office number multiple times, using the email that is on the website, and the cellphone number with no response. In October I was told by text there would not be a class until January. I asked if I could get on a list for the class and what the starting date would be. I did not get a response until today telling me I was too late to sign up. I would recommend finding a company more reliable in their ability to follow up, communicate, and update their website.

Great for pure bred dogs.. Disregards mutts and rescue dogs and clearly favors “prettier” dogs. Really disappointing that her “heart and passion for dogs” is only a passion for certain dogs. Will not be returning.
