One stop shop and eat, from the farmer to the trucker. Plenty of parking, bring your tractor and trailer. No need to turn around, come in on the bypass and head straight out back to I-10 what ever direction you are heading. Got my burger 🍔 on a Texas toast.Family type atmosphere since 1945.

Cafe, hardware/ranch/sporting, Bar & Quick Stop. 4 stops in one. Exceptionally clean, modern restrooms. Mini small town Buckys with no bustle or tourist trap. Well worth the stop. Limited breakfast menu but food is excellent & homemade.Just a short hop off I 10 halfway way between Pecos and Junction in Roosevelt. Will stop again.

Amazing food and great people! We arrived after they were closed, but they let us in and served us. We all had the bacon wrapped filet and salads. The steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Would highly recommend stopping in and we will come back if in the area. Thank you for being awesome!

Little place off the beaten path in Roosevelt, TX. We both ordered the Loaded scramble eggs that truly comes with everything. Very good and filling. Coffee was nice and strong and staff were very friendly.

We stopped in on our trip out to Big Bend and ordered lunch to go. Very friendly folks. I ordered a burger with okra in the side and my brother had the club sandwich. Both were great and exactly what we needed. This place is a much better option than fast food joints along I10 in West Texas.FYI, the cafe is located inside the general store.

A little place we never would've gone to without reading good reviews on Google. This place is literally in the middle of nowhere and even off the I-10 frontage road. We had dinner on our way home to San Antonio. The cafe is literally in the very back of the large building it shares with a store, hence the name. It is a place that mostly locals frequent. We weren't sure about it when we walked in. It was a little dark. The dining room could use a little updating, brightening and freshening. After consulting with the waitress, hubby and I ordered pork chops with mixed sauteed veggies and a side salad. The waitress said menus were out of date (as of this review 5-15-19), so there were options not listed on the menu.Side salad was large and had pieces of fresh bacon in it. It was a bit of a wait for the main course, but turned out to be worth it. Pork chop was tender and well-seasoned. The veggies were a mix of squash, peppers, mushrooms, green beans, onions, and spinach, put on sliced tomato. The veggies had been sauteed with bacon, and had bacon slices in it. Veggies were heavily seasoned, and maybe a bit spicy. But good.Bathrooms were actually quite nice and fairly new. It's worth the experience and a nice surprise for a good meal off the beaten path.

Don’t go ANYwhere else!! We were staying in Junction for the night and came to Simon Bros. Everything was delicious! The staff were so happy and friendly. We had the special. It was an amazing shrimp boil. We also had the fried pickles and steak tips. All phenomenal!! The yeast rolls will make you drool. Cannot wait to come back. Wish this was in our backyard! Thanks to Amy, Bobby, & Lainey for an epic date night! :)

We had the shrimp and crab legs. The shrimp were large and there were quite a few, but they had no shrimp flavor. They tasted farm raised to me. Crab legs were just okay. However the sausage was great as was the corn and potatoes. Next time I'll get a hamburger. They're always great.

Inexpensive, good food! If you’re driving through Junction, take a detour to Roosevelt, Texas to the Back Door Cafe.

Excellent food. This is off the beaten path, but definitely worth the time and effort to stop here while traveling. Service is good and the price is right. If you're traveling on IH10 and need to stop for lunch, you need to find this place.Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs and kid friendly food choices.

Great home cooking and healthy options, too. We have been twice so far and everything was great. The steakhouse salad is my favorite. They are open after the main store is closed, so you have to go to the back to get in.

Food was excellent. Waitress was very nice and made sure our drinks were full. Saltine crackers were flavored and I loved them. Our bill was surprisingly low for the quality of food. All around a great experience.

Simon Bros. Cafe was a hit with our family! We ate a delicious breakfast; omelets, homemade pancakes that were so good. Such a friendly, and welcoming restaurant. Thanks Jerry!! You treated us so kindly. We will be back.

I love this place. Good food, Cold beer, good atmosphere and fun staff. If you get the right waitress ask for blue cheese, it's funny to watch her reaction.
