Small handful of good workers. The rest are lazy as all get put.Bought 4 welcome mats and forgot them on the bottom of the shopping cart. No one would help me when I called the store. No one would answer the main line after several calls so I asked 2 other departments to please try to help me. No one would. I like the store itself, but if people are going to be employed..work!Luckily the mats were exactly where I left them.

Always love me a Walmart parking lot and this one is a prime example. The parking lot backs up to Nature Preserve/Hiking trails and Bird watching area for the community of Rockport/Fulton Beach, TX aka the Riviera of Texas. Please don't hesitate to miss this Gem of the Gulf Coast.

I came into the rockport walmart today at 11am to purchase some items on my day off and upon going to the self checkout I just kept being starred at by the host .. never greeted never said goodbye or have a nice day once I left either. And I know she was profiling me because of how I dress and express myself (goth, face piercings) and it was so hilarious to walk out and immediately watch her sprint to my self checkout to see if I stole anything??? the computers would’ve picked up my miscan??? and for another fact I work at the Portland walmart myself as a front end associate. It just drives me nuts how rude their staff is and judge mental. Not sure her name but it was the lady up front with dirty blonde hair and highlights. Not a hello or goodbye, just straight up worked up over the fact that I had no cart and carried the items in my arms.

Assistant manager, Patty is always very rude and aggressive. We tried to walk past her today, and she would not move from in front of us to let us through when there was no other way around. Joy at the self checkouts continuously calls me, sir I’m very obviously and biologically a woman and is always very rude. she also knows me, and still insist on calling me sir and implies that after 20 years of going to that store and her seeing us that we would steal from the store when we have never stolen from that store or anywhere else

Walmart does many good things for the community that are helpful. I just want to bring attention to something that bothers us. I work at a non-profit here in town which has inventory delivered in cardboard boxes. We went down to ask Walmart to see if they would take our broke down and flattened boxes. My understanding, from talking with other employees, is that they bale the recycled boxes and sell them. So we made an agreement with one of the assistant managers to bring Our boxes to them, broken down and flattened. This worked for a couple of months and then they decided not to take the boxes anymore. We feel Horrible that we just throw boxes in the dumpster, only to get buried in landfills. These boxes represent Trees; we are trying to help the environment. I'm very disappointed with Walmart in Rockport.

The manager who has dark hair and glasses at the money center is extremely rudeI went to send someone moneyThe manager held up her driver's license and mine together and said it was a fake dl... I called Rockport police to come verify it for her and they did let her know it was real then she tried to say the computer said I was under 18 LOL ....JUST A MESS HOING ON THEIR

Spent Thanksgiving weekend in Rockport. Was good to have somewhere close to pickup supplies. HEB is not far either. I did have a issue with their customer service. I was left waiting for a good while behind a customer complaining about the price of a appliance she wanted sale price on but it didnt go on sale until black friday and there was only one other register open with long line. I got irritaded when they ignored me and my wife like we were not even there. Never apologized. The allowed that lady to purchase that item at sale price after hijacking that checkout. If they were going to allow it for one then they should have allowed everyone to do that. Hispanic female customer service manager. They wasted about 30 minutes of my Thanksgiving vacation.

It keeps getting better. I like that I can pay my bill (s) here, also. I really like the changes with this store. On line shopping is just as easy. All easy returns to store. If there is an issue, just use CHAT and they will help. I had great customer service and this is why I like shopping in store...and on line. And if you get the APP. it keeps up with what you purchase. Try it. Plus easy to look for things IN STORE as well as on line.

Not happy at all. 89 year old senior who can barely walk gets stranded without a electric cart in middle of the store. "They're all charging" not 2 minutes later a woman who should be walking literally using the electric cart that was "charging." Shame on your employees.

I actually had a great experience all around. The lady MaryAnn at the front door was cool when I asked her to look in backpack upon entry, she wasn't worried, Tori in pharmacy was calm, genuine, and knowledgeable about the insulin needles they offered, Vanessa was attentive to my needs in auto as was Ryan in choosing a product. Margaret was very nice at checkout. Thank you. That helps the world working towards being a better place. I appreciate it, keep it up, kindness will always get you far ahead and successful, being a jerk gets 'you' (the world) nowhere. Good job!

Rockport Walmart Auto Service Center you may ask? YES! After much research (and an oil change recently) we decided to have all four tires replaced with Michelin Defender LTX. Not surprisingly they need to ship them in from San Antonio being a not so common size. They came in two days later and promptly installed by appointment. With just enough time to pick up some needs in the store we were ready to go. BUT beyond the convenience was the excellent service staff and to what we now call -“Texas Nice” Sincere caring people that truly enjoy their job! Thank you, from your Wisconsin neighbors!

I went to get my oil change and super happy about their prices! $58 for synthetic oil change which other places quoted me between $75 to $120! Outrageous. The only thing I didn’t like is how they forgot to reset the dashboard to take off the tool sign off and set the oil percentage back to 100% so I went back so they can do that. The other thing and I believe it has to do with the resetting, a new light came on my dashboard about 20 mins after I left and is the TPMS the tire pressure monitor system. Now I have to figure out how to fix that.

Fantastic Experience! From being greeted to salutations as you depart... absolutely FANTASTIC! My review is more though, for the Eye Care Center.... Okay, WOW! To Miss Velina and Miss Jeanette.....WOW👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼! My husband and I needed to get our Prescription filled and these Ladies were compassionate, caring and so very helpful! They listened to our concerns and needs, we were so impressed! The process was made so easy and ever so delightful! We thank these Ladies for everything they did! BRAVA 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This is a great Walmart! I've been shopping here since I moved to Rockport 2 years ago. The pharmacy is great, the store is very clean, and the employees are always very nice and helpful. It's best to go early in the morning as it can get a bit busy. Very popular place & has almost everything.

3/2024 -Rockport has only one Walmart. For years, this store has been plugging along. Over the last 9-12 months, there has been a noticeable product availability shift, away from Great Value products to more national brand products. I find this odd, given that consumers are concerned with higher prices and inflation issues, prompting them to seek alternative higher-value/lower-priced items. That's where a wider variety of Great Value items would normally come into play. With the reduction and elimination of those (inflation-fighting) products, people begin to look elsewhere, either online or at competing retailers. I say this with almost 40 years of experience in the grocery and food service supply chain. This may be a single-store issue, but other indicators point to a new direction.With that said, the store dynamic is also changing. The employees are relatively friendly, but none of them seem to stand out from the others. It's as though everyone is a duplicate of their coworkers. I've seen that trend before, in Target stores, where every employee resembles the next. It's strange.Anyway, something is changing and I'm not sure that they're heading in the right (consumer) direction.One last thing. The store is clean and uncluttered.

Normally I’m about 50/50 on how I feel about this store, but today was the final straw. I just left after checking out in lawn and garden. I’m on oxygen and I was clearly struggling for breathe. Instead of seeing if I needed help out to the car, the dude at the door nearly got in front of me to see my receipt. This is getting ridiculous.
