Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. There was a long wait when we went but my wife had waited 4 years to have the oyster Po' Boy again so we sat at the bar. The service there was amazing. We got our food and drinks in no time and the price was way less than we expected. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Wow if I could give 6 stars I would!Healthy to food fest it has it all. Great service… be patient the food is not fast food it’s great food. Vegan to meat lovers all will leave happy. Share the large portions and try the WonTon best I ever had and I’m 65!

OVERALL: My family and I dined here during a three-day vacation in Rockport at the end of the summer season. I enjoyed the meal, but half my family of four thought the food was too salty.FOOD: The starters were excellent. The fried calamari was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Light crispy batter around fresh, tender squid. We also ordered fried pickles, which were outstanding. I went on a fried food binge and got the fried red fish with hush puppies and fries. The batter on the fish had some nice Cajun seasoning, and the fish was tender and flakey. The hush puppies were exceptional and the fries were crispy. My wife ordered the grilled red fish and could only eat half of it because the portions were so generous. She ordered the coleslaw as a side, and I shared my fries for a portion of her salad, which was creamy and fresh. My oldest daughter got the boneless wings and thought the chicken was a little tough, though the seasoning was spot on and ranch dressing had a nice touch of dill. My youngest daughter, a vegan, ordered the veggie lo mein and found it to be too salty. We all drank sweet tea and found it to be cloyingly sweet. It was served in disposable styrofoam cups, which was a drag.SERVICE: Many reviews have complained about the long wait times, but our orders arrived quickly, though the place was packed. Our server was attentive and friendly. She was excellent.ATMOSPHERE: A clean restaurant with a sports bar vibe. The Astros were on the big TV, and I enjoyed watching the game during the meal.

Best service in town nicely priced food and drinks. Only place I’ve ever been too that cooks my burger to order (medium rare) every single dang time. Hot braised chicken is delicious, Latin burger is the best, 14 dollar mimosa carafe is a great deal as well. Kiddos love the mini corn dogs and pho soup. Also very well priced. Best place in Rockport don’t know why it took me three years to review this place. 5…. Thousand stars. Thanks for all the delicious food.Vegetarian options: They have vegetables to eat in yummy dishes.Dietary restrictions: Can get burgers without buns and order steamed veggie sides. They have veggie only dishes and can use non msg in Certain dishes when requested.Kid-friendliness: They’re nice to kids haha. My kids love eating here as well favorite place. The soup comes out hot if you get a kids soup add ice.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps are the only way in or out.

Great food at good prices. You have a choice of Vietnamese or Chinese dishes and your American Classics. Very delicious egg rolls. It's also a sports bar with plenty of TVs throughout. Good service even when it was busy. We would definitely be coming back.

Boneless wings are good and larger size.Downside:Due to popularity, may have a wait. Parking limited at times. Can be lengthy getting your food order.Comments:Have ate in / carried out 20x or more, it's a great place to eat and I recommend going.

At first, my opinion of this restaurant was through the roof! They have some amazing food choices and a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, and American cuisine. We thought we would come back since there were so many options. Unfortunately, our experience waned with time. We ordered the KimChi fries for an appetizer and they were good, but had too much cheese. We waited over an hour for our main courses. (Total time there was almost 2 hours) My side was a Caesar salad but it was just thrown together and wasn’t very good. The shrimp tacos were good, as were my husband’s sweet potato fries. The food had a good taste but it was not worth the wait. If they got people in and out quicker, it would be a great place!

The staff were friendly. The food was visually appealing but very bland. The atmosphere was very loud. Flavors seemed watered down or weak. The food wasn't bad but it just wasn't good either. It was very busy so maybe it just wasn't what we were expecting. Our lunch specials (3) totaled about $30.00 after tax.. before tip.

Deliciously appetizing. From fried pickles to pho this place offers the yummiest tummy filling food. We ordered:The chicken burger with regular fries: spicier than expected but not too bad for my husband that likes medium heat.Original Burger with thicc windy fries: juicy and decadent with mouth watering pickled cucumbers.Fried pickles: extra hot from the frier but lovely when drenched in ranch to meet that hot vs. cold blend in yo mouth.Pho: huge bowl, perfect noodle to meat ratio, ended up having enough to take home.Friends that we dined with were also very pleased with their food and service. We will be back.This place also offers beer on tap.

Let me start off by saying, our waitress was fabulous. She was very obviously working her butt off. We got our beers on point. The food “looked” on point too. My husband enjoyed his juicy burger & fries. I ordered a rice platter with a pork chop. ALL but the pork chop was delicious. The pork chop tasted old. (Only way I know how to describe it) When our waitress checked on us later, I did mention that I LOVED everything but the pork chop, she understood & advised her manager. They took my plate off our bill. We will most definitely be back. Outstanding service for sure. Thank you again Benchwarmer’s 😁

So gotta say really love this place. Highly recommend. 2 conjoined menus; one American and oriental. Everyone in our party had the same dilemma; hard to decide what to order with so many awesome choices! All food excellent, regardless which type you choose. Servers awesome. Funky vibe to the place was great. Nice and clean. Will have to return many times to try so many options!

Exceptional quality of food perfectly done! The manager and staff were phenomenal! We had a party of at least 15 and the rest of the restaurant was full! The service was great everyone throughout the place received great service and hot food! Drinks refilled so quickly you never had to ask for it or anything! Loved it highly recommended by our entire party! Deep fried oreos, German chocolate cheesecake made in house! OMG!Doughboy burger! Sweet potato fries! Blackened fish! Fish tacos huge ,delicious! Wings! Shrimp! The fried oysters!!! I could go on and on everything was great!

Our family stopped here after a busy day at the aquarium. Service was excellent, multiple servers brought food and checked on us.We had fried pickles and fried cheese for apps. Food was hot and delicious. Our entrees and the kiddos entrees were served quickly and hot. We are definently gonna come back.The atmosphere was light and fun, post season baseball was on tv. Our kids, even though they were tired and a little loud didn't stand out. Good family place.

The food is good, but there is always a 30-45 minute wait for a table, then a 45 minute wait for the meal and uncomfortable seats. This was my 3rd visit and it's been the same story each time. I'm not sure the food is good enough to wait that long for every single time. It really doesn't have that much seating so I can't figure out why it takes so much time to get waited on.Our waitress was nice and courteous but not able to keep up with her section.The fried pickles are thick, round slices and the batter wasn't done all the way through or the thick pickle just made the inside batter soggy. I believe the crab rangoons are frozen, not fresh made. The drunken noodles and the the cashew chicken were good and we had to take half of it home. We are big eaters and still couldn't finish half of it.
